Afterword
Thank you so much for coming on the MatchMater experience with me - I hope you enjoyed it! I had so much fun writing all three of the stories and diving back into paranormal romance (and reminding myself how much I loved it!) While the MatchMater series is over, my paranormal romance isn't! I've been working on a second chance vampire romance called Bite Of The Past (and the prequel about the first chance!)
Some things in this series took me completely by surprise - Mrs Stein/Achilles' grandmother was one of those things! She took on a life of her own and became more than just a side character in book one. I loved being able to give her more of a role in this book. And she will be back in Rising Aledwen, the final book in the Spring Fae Duology!
It was slightly odd wrapping up Forbidden Vampire Mate during lockdown, while nursing homes are so off limits. I think that's one of the reasons I chose to set Effie and Wendell's first date at an aquarium. I'd already plotted it so that it would involve a light-hearted non-meal date, and I'm missing going to the local aquarium with it being closed and wanted to remember it in some way!
