He falls on top of me and his weight is crushing for a moment before he falls to the side and drapes me over his chest. He slides out and the bliss of feeling his release inside me suddenly becomes a harsh reality when I feel his cum leak out of my pussy.

“I know,” he groans and kisses the top of my head. “Don’t tense up on me. I couldn’t find the restraint needed to search the clubhouse for a fucking condom. And to be honest? Leo going out to get them and is lying dead on a fucking table in the middle of the clubhouse? Life is too fucking short with the balance of death hanging in the air. Anything is possible and no one knows what comes next. And in that moment I decided the chance of new life is a welcome gift to be appreciated. So if pregnancy completes us, that would be fucking magnificent.”

My throat clogs up and I have nothing to add to his words because I fully agree. I snuggle closer and his arms pull me tighter against him. Another kiss on the top of my head is all I feel before sleep overtakes me.

  – DREAMER –

“Are you sure about this? Because all these other patches are making me itchy,” Erko complains and I do have to agree with him.

Yet, on the other hand, “It’s the backup we need since half of our brothers are keeping the old ladies safe.”

“I know, I know,” Erko grumbles. “It’s a fucked-up situation and we need the backup. Sorry. I didn’t mean to add to the stress. You know, the whole leaving your old lady in the care of others.”

“Could you just shut the fuck up?” I hiss, irritated by the reminder because for sure as shit am I stressing the fuck out.

And the choice wasn’t easy and it’s more like flipping a damn coin. So, here I am, sitting behind some damn bushes to give me cover because we’re waiting on Nario or some of his guys to come here.

The seventy-two hours have passed. I didn’t damage the GPS tracker I pulled out of Coral and me and the brothers thought it would be worth a shot to see if it can be used as bait. I gave the tracker to a brother who drove around with it these past few days to give the impression Coral didn’t remove it. The tracker is currently in the little shed to my right while we have tiny groups of men surrounding the place.

We’re waiting to see if someone shows but we could be here for a rat’s ass while Nario—or some of his guys—are paying my prez and others a visit at the clubhouse. Though, Stone guaranteed he wouldn’t let anyone so much as enter the property. He gave a shoot first, ask questions later order.

And the whole “flipping a coin” thing? It wasn’t like that since Stone ordered me to oversee this and not stay at the clubhouse. It was either this or stay in the safe room along with Coral. And I would go nuts with not knowing what was going on.

“Car,” Erko whispers under his breath and I follow his line of sight.

Alaric and Hunt are right across the road from me, along with a few other guys from their MC. They have their guns drawn and so do we. This isn’t a meet and greet or cozy chatting. The whole “shoot first ask questions later” also applies here. The car comes closer and suddenly there’s a sound of a fucking chopper.

“Motherfucking hell,” Erko growls. “We’re hidden enough but if those fuckers have—” He doesn’t get to finish his sentence when gunshots start to crack through the air.

Erko spins on his heels and heads for his truck. Why the hell he didn’t want to ride his bike here is beyond me but leaving in the middle of gunfire isn’t very brotherly; not having my fucking back.

I take aim and fire a few rounds at the chopper. I don’t think it’ll give much impact but maybe I’m lucky enough to hit the gas tank or the pilot, one can only hope in this fucked-up situation.

Alaric and Hunt do the same and it pains me to see a few brothers hit the ground as more gunfire erupts. The car comes to a screeching halt and I take aim to fire a few rounds at something I know I can hit. Three guys, all dressed in black, jump out with their guns blazing.

Everyone’s attention is suddenly focused on a loud whoosh and blast followed by fire in the sky. The sound is deafening and it’s like a spin of slow-motion where I seriously need to jump into action to prevent from getting in the way of a helicopter crashing.

It hits the ground hard and there’s dust, debris, flames, shit flying around but I also have to focus on bullets being fired my way since there are still two other fuckers from the car alive and shooting. I manage to kill one and I think Hunt shoots the other, making the silence return. Well, except for the helicopter that’s still burning.

Alaric jogs my way followed by hunt and a few other guys. My brothers also come running from all sides. And Erko. Anti-tank rocket launcher casually leaning on his shoulder and a grin on his face as if he just saved the day. And the little fucker damn well did save the fucking day.

“I don’t even want to know why the hell you have that thing in your truck.” I shake my head but shoot him a grin. “But I’m fucking glad you did.”

“Remember the fuckers who robbed Ryker’s family and we tracked them down to a house near the highway and they had this shed loaded with all kinds of weapons? I saw it lying around and asked Stone if I could have it. Good thing he said yes, right? And the fact I threw it in my truck just in case before we left the clubhouse. Didn’t think I needed it, though. But I’m thinking we do need more of those rockets if we keep using the thing. And hotdamn it was fucking awesome shooting again after years of not—”

“You’re not in the army anymore, Erko. Let’s fucking hope we don’t end up in a situation like this ever again. This being my first and I do fucking hope my last because shootings are a pain in the ass but throw in a damn helicopter? Fuck,” I growl.

“Couldn’t agree more, but this is the end of chitchat. We need to move. Taking down the helicopter has drawn enough attention. Even if we’re in the middle of nowhere we need to move. Now. The only thing positive about the damn helicopter is the fact we don’t have to clean up. Cops coming this way will find the car, helicopter, three dead bodies and we didn’t even have to touch them. And you.” Alaric lifts his chin at Erko. “Nice toy. Thanks for saving the day because that was some serious shit hitting us.”

Alaric shakes his head and we all take a moment to catch our breath and damn well know how things could have ended very differently if it wasn’t for Erko.

“We’re heading home, I’m guessing you guys are going back to the clubhouse? Call if you need us again, okay?” Alaric says and offers me his hand.

Hunt too and he adds, “Give my regards to my brother-in-law. He needs to swing by soon, his sisters miss him.”

“I’ll pass him the message,” I tell him and we all head for our bikes.

Except for Erko, he jumps into his truck and follows us. It’s a two hour drive back to the clubhouse and I’m a bit worried about the fact I haven’t heard anything from Stone. My nerves are almost shot when I finally arrive and park my bike.

Nothing seems out of place when we stride inside and find the main room quiet. Only a handful of brothers are occupying the bar and lounging on the couches. Stone strolls in and next to him is Coral.

“I saw you coming and took her out of the safe room. Nothing happened here,” Stone says. “Alaric called me and gave me a short recap. I think we owe Erko a favor, I’m thinking no more digging for the next few months.”

“Dude.” Erko steps forward. “I’m thinking more like no more digging, not ever.”

Stone narrows his eyes and Erko holds his hands up. “I didn’t mean I won’t be helping with disposing bodies, I’m just saying . . . no more digging.”

Prez glances at Coral and winces. “He makes it sound like we dispose bodies every damn day.”

Coral can’t hide the smile in her voice when she says, “Let me guess, you guys rarely do.”

“Let’s shift topics,” Stone deadpans and glances at Erko. “Deal. Now go get yourself a beer.”

“We could all use a beer,” I grumble and let out a deep sigh.

&nb
sp; Coral’s arms wrap around me and instant calm settles in my veins. This is what she does to me. Utter completion. It’s as if there’s a part missing when we’re not together and it’s only rising to the attention now that she’s in my life. I knew it the first time I laid eyes on her, covered in filth or not, her beauty shines right at me at all times.

We head for a table and I know we should talk things through, even if Alaric called to give him some details. It’s crucial Stone knows what went down. This shit isn’t over, not by a long shot and for all we know they could be coming through the door—gunning for revenge—this very moment.

“The auction went down a few hours ago,” Stone suddenly says and keeps his eyes on Coral. “It was a last moment shift of time and place. Bruno said it’s a normal thing seeing the high-risk and this way the venue nor the time is known up front. Less chance the law can interfere or catch on and plan shit.”

Coral is white as a sheet and locked in a frozen state beside me.

“Well,” I grunt, slightly angry at the whole situation and lack of more information. “Get it over with. Was Bruno able to save Winter?”

“I wouldn’t exactly say save.” Stone winces and takes out his phone. He taps it a few times and shows both me and Coral a photo.

Coral gasps and I wince, seeing a naked woman standing on a fucking soapbox on display by the looks of it.

“Is this your friend?” Stone questions.

My woman leans against me, seeking my strength, and nods her head. “That’s Winter. Is she . . . did he?”

“He bought her and they’re staying at an unknown place at the moment. The auction didn’t go fluently and Bruno mentioned something about running into an old business acquaintance who he bumped heads with. Let’s just say they have the same taste. Anyway, I mentioned the GPS tracker but he was told about it and even got a full set of papers, clean bill of health and all, when he bought her so he could find her in case she ran off. Needless to say, he removed the tracker and asked me to confirm if this was your friend. If so, he would allow her to call you tomorrow morning.”

“He would allow her,” Coral starts to sputter.

Stone holds up his hand. “I’m sure Dreamer mentioned it to you. Bruno isn’t a man who takes orders or just does anything out of the goodness of his heart. One thing I can tell you, the way he spoke about her? I’d say she’s in good hands. For now.”

“What does that mean?” Coral snaps, anger lacing her words.

I squeeze her thigh. “Take a breath, Coral. Stone is not the enemy here.”

Coral’s shoulders sag. “I know. I’m sorry. I just . . . she’s been through enough. But you’re probably right. I should be thankful she’s no longer in the hands of those people who took us and freaking sold her.”

“I’ll text Bruno and will find you in the morning when he lets her call.”

Coral gives my prez a thankful smile.

“Okay, I’m going to my room. Ry is waiting for me. This full lockdown has put all of us on edge. I don’t like my woman balancing on the edge of stress right now.”

“She’s strong,” Coral says. “Very sweet but from what she told me and what Daniela mentioned, she might be the strongest woman I’ve met.”

Stone gives a nod, pride shining in his eyes. “She sure is. Though you’re pretty damn strong too, Coral. Remember what you put behind you. Your friend too for that matter. Get some sleep you two. A handful of brothers are taking watch. Big day tomorrow.” He locks eyes with me. “Church bright and early.”

“Understood, prez,” I tell him and stand, taking Coral with me.

We head for our room and I can’t help thinking how different this day could have gone if it wasn’t for Erko and his damn rocket launcher. I lock the door behind us and grab my woman to pull her into my arms.

Just standing here with her wrapped in my arms and taking a breath to fill my lungs with her scent is enough for my nerves to somewhat settle. She nuzzles my chest and sighs in contentment. It’s as if the both of us need the closeness of each other.

I bury my fist in her hair and tip her head back to claim her mouth. She gasps and it allows me to swoop my tongue inside in search for hers. The kiss isn’t sweet. It’s raw and demanding. It’s a solid promise I want to devour her pussy the way I’m fucking her mouth.

I don’t want to waste any time. Spinning us around I force her to move back until she hits the wall. I start to tug at her jeans and shove them down along with her panties. She quickly steps out of them—just as eager as I am—and slides her hands up my chest, heading for my neck. I fumble between our bodies and slide down the zipper to pull out my cock.

“Hold on tight,” I growl and palm her ass with my other hand, easily lifting her up so she can wrap her legs around my waist.

I soak my dick with her juices and let her pussy suck in the broad head. Fucking bliss. In one hard surge forward I bury myself inside her to the hilt and immediately pull back and dive right back in. I’m a driven madman on a hunt for pleasure and this woman is my target.

Her nails dig into my skin. Rough pants are flowing next to my ear when she groans, “Harder.”

Harder? Fuck. If I would take her any harder we’d be breaking through the damn wall. And yet I manage to deepen my thrusts while rotating my hips, hitting a spot deep inside her that triggers euphoria. Her pussy starts to convulse, her teeth sink into my shoulder while her muted screams of pleasure reach my ears.

Too fast. Too hard. Too fucking loaded with a sensation strangling my cock makes the cum rip right from my balls. I have nothing else to do but follow my woman into the orgasm haze and hold on for the ride.

I let my head fall into the crook of her neck in an effort to catch my breath. A loud sound rattles me back into awareness. I step back and let Coral slide down my body. Tucking my dick back in my pants I quickly zip up.

  “Get dressed,” I whisper.

I have no clue what’s going on but the sound gives me some indication of a car hitting the gate or whatever. I stalk to the closet and take out a tiny safe. Opening it I grab the tiny handgun I keep in there and hold it out for Coral.

“Flip off the safety, just point and shoot. Got it?”

She takes it and simply nods. There’s fear in her eyes but no hint of panic, this shows how much my woman has already gone through and how strong she is to jump into any situation at any time without freaking the fuck out first.

“I’m going to try and take you to the safe room. Stay behind me.” I don’t wait for a reply but quietly flip the lock and open the door to glance through the hallway.

Ryker rushes toward me. “Two SUVs burst through the gate. Quick, man, get her to the other old ladies.”

Gunfire hits and the sound of glass shattering along with screams draws our attention to the main room.

“Fuck,” I growl. “There’s no time.”

“Put her between us, I’ll take point, you watch the back.” Ryker reaches for another gun and is now palming one in each hand. “Sounds like they have us surrounded.”

He moves forward and I place a hand between Coral’s shoulder blades to guide her but also to grab the fabric of her shirt in case we need to move quickly. Jace comes running from the back.

“This way, come on,” he grunts and turns without making sure we follow.

We do and this also turns our positions. Coral is now gripping my leather cut as we follow Jace into the storage room. Ry and Daniela surge up from the floor when they see us but gunfire makes them fall back as I turn to grab Coral.

She falls into my arms releasing a painful grunt while her body jerks. Ryker crashes to the floor. Jace raises his gun and fires three rapid rounds. I turn my body to protect Coral while holding her up and trying to fucking multitask by shooting off a few rounds myself at a fucker who is trying to get inside the storage room. One bullet between the eyes makes him crumble to the floor next to Ryker.

The silence is deafening before there’s a loud explosion, shaking the build
ing on its foundation. Coral goes slack in my arms and when I glance down I almost fucking lose the ability to breathe when I see the blood seeping through her clothes.

Daniela is in my face snapping, “Put her down.”

She starts to rip at Coral’s clothes and I could thank the heavens above for this woman to be my VP’s old lady. Not only a doctor but one loaded with cash and a sense of being prepared for any situation made her buy several medical bags to put in strategic places. The storage room being one of those and the woman doesn’t so much as blink but dives right into attending to the wound on Coral’s back.

“What the fuck is happening?” Jace growls and releases a string of curses when he stands from crouching down besides Ryker. “They fucking killed him.”

The damn building moans and I lock eyes with Jace. “We need to get out of here.”

“They’re fucking counting on it, waiting with guns blazing. We’re as good as dead if we head out there now.”

“And maybe we have the same outcome if we stay here while the building collapses,” I snap.

Another blast, smaller than the last one, rings out. Jace grabs his phone, taps the screen but shakes his head. My eyes go to Coral and my heart jolts with energy when I see her staring back at me.

  “You okay?”

She gives me a tiny smile. “Still breathing, like you.”

“What if we head for the back? Basement? Torture room?” Ry asks while our eyes bounce all over the place due to the gunfire coming from the front of the clubhouse.

I fall to my knees next to Coral. Daniela looks at me when she tugs Coral’s shirt back up. “Two bullets did some damage, but it looks more like a ricochet, ripping through some skin which caused bleeding. I’ve cleaned and bandaged it up. I’ll check later when we have more time. If we’re still breathing that is.”
