“It’s still new, but the sex is spectacular,” he said, kissing her again.

“I agree with everything you say,” Grace said with a loud yawn.

Cullen swatted her on the butt. “An auspicious start to our marriage, then. If you keep agreeing with my every word, we’ll be sweet.”

“You realize Summer and my other friends will lead me astray.”

Cullen lifted his head to grin, his happiness and the genuine love displayed on his face stealing her breath. “Nikolai, backed by the other men, informed me make-up sex was excellent and that a good argument never hurt a marriage.

Grace blinked. “You got marriage advice?”

“Don’t tell me the wives didn’t give you pearls of wisdom, too.”

His broad grin had her smiling in return, and she cupped his handsome face. Now that he’d left the army, he’d relaxed more, and she’d never seen him smile as often. It was a good look for him.

“They couldn’t help themselves,” she said with a dry smile.

“That’s what I thought,” he said, his expression turning smug. A hint of curiosity crept over his face. “So what will you do?”

“That’s a simple question,” Grace said. “I’m going to love you as hard as I can and enjoy the hell out of every day, every hour, every moment we have together.”

Cullen stared at her, then gave a decisive nod. “Works for me,” he said, and he settled in to kiss her senseless. Again.

  About Shelley

USA Today bestselling author Shelley Munro lives in Auckland, the City of Sails, with her husband and a cheeky Jack Russell/mystery breed puppy.

Typical New Zealanders, Shelley and her husband left home for their big OE soon after they married (translation of New Zealand speak – big overseas experience). A twelve-month long adventure lengthened to six years of roaming the world. Enduring memories include being almost sat on by a mountain gorilla in Rwanda, lazing on white sandy beaches in India, whale watching in Alaska, searching for leprechauns in Ireland, and dealing with ghosts in an English pub.

While travel is still a big attraction, these days Shelley is most likely found in front of her computer following another love – that of writing stories of contemporary and paranormal romance and adventure. Other interests include watching rugby (strictly for research purposes), cycling, baking bread and curling up with an enjoyable book.
