It took me a long time to drift back to earth from the power of that orgasm. When I did, I was floating in the water, sitting in Penn’s lap with my legs over Tyson’s. The three of us traded more tender kisses.
“Okay, seriously?” A disgruntled voice floated over to us, and I turned to see Jensen, Rafe, Lex, Silas, and Chase standing on the deck, arms crossed. “Rude.”
I smiled. “Come on in. The water’s fine.”
“Oh no,” Rafe said, stopping the others as they moved toward me. “We are not having an extended orgy in the hot tub. Maddie’s got to be able to run for PT.”
I groaned at the thought. “Really, Rafe?”
“We’re moving up to the bed,” Rafe said.
Tyson grinned in surprise, right before he plucked me out of the water and held me against his chest. The three of us streamed water across the deck as he carried me toward the brightly-lit house, and our cozy little bedroom.
Chapter Fifty-Six
Up in our bedroom, the other guys quickly undressed. I watched them all strip: Jensen pulling off his shirt to reveal chiseled abs and that nipple ring that glinted from his pec; Silas quickly unbuttoning his shirt, his long fingers deft—I knew just how deft; Rafe, drawing his shirt over his head, revealing his tall, muscular body that I’d longed for so long; Chase, his brown eyes twinkling at me as he stripped and my gaze fell to his long, hard cock; Lex, with his tousled hair and chiseled body who had been my first, and I’d been his.
Anyone could have seen these men were something special, and I couldn’t believe they were all mine. As they undressed, Penn and Tyson lay on the bed with me, teasing my clit with their fingers and caressing my nipples, kissing my shoulders and cheeks. They teased and aroused me as I watched the others prepare themselves.
“Good,” Rafe said, jerking his jaw at Penn and Tyson to tell them to move. “You two had your fun. You can watch for a while.”
Penn rolled his eyes and planted one last kiss on my lips before he rolled away.
But Rafe already had his cock in his hand, and I had the feeling watching was not something he considered a punishment.
“Lex, lie down on the bed. Maddie, get on top of him,” Rafe ordered.
I was kind of turned on by Rafe telling us all what to do. It turned out I didn’t mind him being bossy after all. I straddled Lex, leaning over to kiss him, my blond hair falling around the two of us. I could feel the other guys watching my ass rise in the air as I took my time kissing Lex, and his hands cupped my breasts, my cheek, skimming across my body as if he couldn’t get enough of me.
“Chase,” Rafe said, and the next moment, I felt the bed shift as Chase climbed over Lex’s legs, then came behind me.
Chase rested his hand lightly on my waist, bending over my back to press kisses to my shoulders. His hard, muscular body pressed all along my back, his cock teasing between my thighs, making me feel safe and turned-on all at the same time.
“Silas, put your mouth on her breast,” Rafe said.
A moment later, Silas was at my side, leaning over to wrap his mouth around my nipple. The warmth of Silas’s mouth enveloped me, his tongue beginning to tease me.
“Jensen,” Rafe ordered. Jensen’s mouth covered my other nipple a moment later, and I groaned at the power of the sensation in my body even before Chase and Lex began to move, teasing me with their cocks.
I couldn’t even tell who was who anymore; I just felt waves of pleasure rolling through my body as they worked together to tease my breasts and my clit. I felt Chase’s thumb brush over my rosebud, again and again, until my hips began to jerk against him from the power of the sensation.
“I want you,” I murmured, wanting to be filled, wanting all of them.
Lex altered his angle beneath me, his hands gripping my hips as he pushed up into me. I slid down onto his cock, biting my lip as he filled me. I was already so hot with desire that when I felt Chase slide through my wetness and glide over my rosebud, I pushed back. He rocked forward, filling me slowly, inch by inch, as I groaned aloud.
“Good girl,” Rafe said, and I swear to god, I almost came from his low, sexy tone, when I was already so hot and so full.
We all began to move together, Silas and Jensen still working their mouths against my breasts, and I let out a moan that turned into a scream as the most powerful orgasm I’d ever had washed through my body.
But we didn’t stop. I felt them shift around, changing positions at Rafe’s order, but as soon as my hips stopped jerking and my thighs stopped trembling with the power of the orgasm—as soon as my clit was no longer so sensitive and swollen it was throbbing—we began to go again.
I lost myself in them, in all the sensations as I came again and again, in ever changing arrangements of pleasure, Rafe’s low, sexy voice rumbling orders the constant that kept me grounded.
Then I heard his voice in my ear, low and intimate. “I’m here, Maddie.”
I opened my eyes to see him underneath me, his dark eyes smoldering up at me. I leaned forward and kissed him slowly.
Then I straightened and began to ride him, feeling them all press against me, losing myself again into the waves of wild pleasure we were all riding.
When we finally all tumbled into bed, spent and exhausted, I felt sticky with cum drying across my legs, but I was so filled and sated that I didn’t want to get up and take a shower. Not yet.
But when I admitted to the discomfort, I quickly found myself hoisted against Lex’s chest and born into the shower, where Tyson and Penn joined us under the spray, and soon I was moaning all over again, before they gently washed me, dried me, and carried me back to bed.
Before long, I was drifting off to sleep, surrounded by my men.
Chapter Fifty-Seven
Maddie
A few months later
It was a crisp September day, the first day of what should’ve been my second year at the academy, and I wasn’t wearing my skirt and blazer. I used to have nightmares about being blazer-less during morning classes.
I smoothed my palms absently against my jeans, trying to steel my nerves as I waited for Dean Clearborn to welcome the students to a new year. The patrols were all grouped together, facing forward and listening to the instructors who were introducing themselves on the stage on the quad.
Except for one girl with long brown hair in a sleek ponytail, who kept turning around to look through the crowd. Oh, Rosemary. I raised my hand and waved to her, and she waved back before I mimed her turning around. I didn’t want her to get in trouble.
Not that anyone should take my advice on how to stay out of trouble.
Dean Clearborn bounced up the few steps to the stage. “Good morning,” he said. He didn’t need the mike for his voice to carry across the assembled patrols.
“Good morning, sir,” they chorused back, and I joined in; I couldn’t help myself. Jensen glanced at me from the corner of his eye and smiled; my hand brushed his in a furtive touch.
Clearborn went through the familiar spiel about his expectations for the year. I’d zoned out a little when Rafe elbowed me, and I glanced at him suspiciously, only to find him staring at Dean Clearborn as if he were deeply intrigued by everything the man was saying. I hid a smile. Typical Rafe.
“We can’t grow complacent,” Clearborn said. “Even though the war between witches and wolves has ended, even though we’ve negotiated peace, peace is a fragile thing.”
The new peace accords between witches and wolves were supposed to be guaranteed by the fact that anyone could have their powers taken if they broke them. The truth was, shifters could use magic, and witches could shift if they knew how to use their magic.
We were all the same on the inside.
I hoped that would be a reason to maintain peace, but I didn’t know if it would hold forever.
Travel between worlds had been banned too, as part of the peace agreements. The torn universe needed time to heal. Maybe that alone would be enough to stop the rips from growing any worse and to let
the fabric of the universe begin to heal.
Silas said the universe was resilient, and I hoped he was right.
For now, we had peace, and I wasn’t going to ever take that for granted. I was sure there would still be monsters and evil covens and enemies that arose, but I’d like to think my men and I would help stop it.
“I have a special announcement to make,” Clearborn said. He looked at Rafe meaningfully, and Rafe put his hand on my shoulder, guiding me toward the stage, herding us all along.
I walked up the steps onto the dais, somewhere between nervous and excited. Nervous and excited both made me feel queasy, and I felt my cheeks heat. I wasn’t scared of much, but I hated having a lot of attention on me.
But then Jensen’s hand brushed mine, and I looked around at the tall, amazing guys who surrounded me as we stood on the platform, and I didn’t feel quite so nervous anymore. No matter what happened, we could always face it together. Good or bad.
And today was good.
“Within all of you here today,” Clearborn told the assembled students, “is the ability to meet the needs of your fellow shifters, to rise above your own interests and even your pack’s interests. To become heroes.”
He let the words linger, and I resisted the temptation to roll my eyes. I didn’t want to think of myself as a hero. It was too much to live up to.
I’d just keep doing my best, alongside my men.
“These students have done that so well, have proven themselves so essential to the packs, that they’re becoming a patrol now. You’ll still see some of them in your classes, but they might disappear on missions, too, and that’s part of why I wanted you all to understand. This is a patrol that even I couldn’t break up.”
Clearborn turned to the table beside him, where six swords were waiting. Rafe and Lex were already wearing their Council’s Own sabres. Rafe looked grouchy and miserable as ever—he hated being on stage—but Lex couldn’t hide his grin of pride.
“Madeline Northsea,” Clearborn said, turning to offer me the sword.
As I took it from him, he added, more quietly, “You made a decent show of things for a woman and a witch, didn’t you?”
I just smiled back at him. Clearborn winked at me, then turned and drew the next sword. “Jensen McCauley.”
He gave swords to Penn, Tyson and Chase, then said, “Silas Zip.”
I half expected to hear a rumble of disagreement from the crowd, but no one dared. Silas stepped up and took the sword from Clearborn.
“Congratulations to our newest team to join the Alpha’s Own,” Clearborn said.
The cheers of our fellow students washed over us as we headed back down the steps—back to solid ground.
Penn rested his elbow on my shoulder. “Spin it any way you want, we still have three more years of classes and ass-kickings when we aren’t actually fighting for our lives.”
“Are you complaining?” I teased him.
He flashed me a grin. “Nah.”
Part of our new deal was that we could live in Chase’s house full-time, with Rafe, Lex, and Chase’s siblings. For safety’s sake, though, Clearborn had suggested we take over one of the guest houses on campus. That way, Blake and Skyla were safe when we were all gone on a mission—and the world was safe from them as they came to terms with their wolves.
The houses were already built to house a pack, but we were being allowed to give it a renovation to make sure it was perfect for our harem of eight—and our two younger siblings.
And to add a hot tub.
This wouldn’t be my happy ending, after all, if there wasn’t still a hot tub of iniquity.
Piper smiled at me from the sidelines, carrying Cole. It was hard to believe that he and Scarlett would be a year old soon.
All of our packs had been welcomed to come see us announced as a patrol. Rafe’s parents had wanted to come, but he’d declined. Lia had come, though, and baby Charlotte was currently toddling around the campus as she chased after her. I knew how much it meant to Rafe that he still had a relationship with his sister, even though he was giving up on his parents.
Rosemary came over and gave Lex a hug. “I hate you for this, you know,” she said, adjusting her academy tie.
I could see Rafe bristle—he still felt protective of Lex—but Lex just smiled. “You’ll get used to it.”
“Will I?” she asked lightly, but I had a feeling she meant it. “I feel like I’ve got awfully big shoes to fill, coming in as the second Kierney cadet in six years.”
“You’ll be amazing,” Lex promised her, and she smiled reluctantly.
Then my own sister popped up beside me, distracting me from my eavesdropping. Piper was smiling, and she had Cole propped up on the round swell of her belly. Those ridiculous brothers of mine had already knocked Piper up again.
“Piper,” I said, giving her a big hug. Then, as always, I made grabby hands, at the same time as Cole reached for me. I grinned, because I always worried Scarlett and Cole would forget me, since I wasn’t around all the time. But that wasn’t the way family was after all. It didn’t matter if life—and our missions—pulled us in different directions. We were still family.
My men and Piper’s men mixed together, congratulating each other as the assembly was dismissed. Students headed off to their various classes. It made me happy to see the guys all getting along, talking to each other. Piper’s men were still my family too.
“We’re lucky to have a very big family,” I mused.
“Yes, we are,” Piper said. “When the two of us were young, just trying to survive, I never could have imagined we’d wind up here.”
She hugged me again, then took Cole back. “We’d better get out of your hair. You’ve got class.”
I groaned. “Save the world, but don’t be late to school.”
“I’m coming for a visit next month to see the new house,” Piper said.
“I can’t wait,” I told her.
Rafe came over then, and Piper squeezed his arm and said goodbye before she headed out. Rafe still seemed vaguely star-struck around her, because of the way they’d met, and that struck me as sweet. Sooner or later, though, I hoped she’d just feel like a sister.
Because after all, Rafe had threatened to marry me. Sooner or later, I knew these men and I would get married; I just wasn’t in any hurry for a wedding when I was still so young. But it felt inevitable… in the best of ways.
Rafe slipped his arm around my waist and whispered in my ear, “The first time I ever saw you holding one of the twins, I started thinking about what it would be like one day when you had my baby.”
“Oh really? I thought I annoyed you immensely back then.”
“You still do.” He nipped my ear with his teeth, and I laughed.
“Right back at you,” I told him.
“I’m looking forward to making babies with you someday,” he growled into my ear, and the thought made arousal pool low in my belly. “And I’m looking forward to practicing until we’re ready.”
I caught his cheek and turned my face to kiss him, our lips pressing together in a sweet and tender kiss.
Then he stepped back, glancing around at the other men.
“Best get to class so you’re not late,” Rafe said. He and Lex were our team leaders now, but still, I had to wonder why he chose to be recreationally bossy when he didn’t have to be.
Well, I didn’t really wonder. I knew Rafe, and just like everyone else, he needed a hobby. His was bossing.
“We’re going,” Tyson said. Silas, Penn, Tyson, Chase, Jensen, and I all headed toward the academic building, trailing the other students.
I rolled my eyes at Penn, who grinned.
“Thirty-two,” Rafe called after me, and I couldn’t hide my own smile.
So much had changed over the last year, and some things would keep changing.
But some things—like the love my men and I shared—was never going to change.
Now dive into Wandering Queen. Alisa’s lost her
memories, but four sexy, maddening Face kings just burst into her life to insist she’s meant to be queen of another world…

Part I
Wandering Queen
Prologue
Five Years Ago
I was on my knees in the forest. I didn’t know how I’d gotten there.
The sun filtered through the green leaves of the trees above. The trees looked wrong somehow, but I didn’t know how. In the distance, there was a faint, constant rushing noise, and I tilted my head, trying to understand the sound.
As I rose to my feet, confusion almost tipped into panic. I didn’t remember anything. Not my name, not where I’d come from, not how I’d ended up there.
Looking down to make sure I wasn’t hurt, I cataloged my narrow wrists and pale skin, and the simple jeans, sneakers, and t-shirt that I wore. There was a note pinned to my chest, and I frowned as I pulled the pin loose.
Your name is Alisa.
You don’t have friends. Don’t trust anyone who claims to be one.
You’re quite good with a sword.
Well then, I supposed that was all I ever needed to know.
My hands shook a little as I folded the note and shoved it in my pocket, as if it might somehow answer more questions later. I touched something else in my pocket, and pulled out a wallet. There was nothing in it except for dozens of crisp hundred dollar bills. Nothing that told me who I was.
