Murray assumed control of a remote and paused the screen. He said, "Gentlemen, we will see in this report a series of attacks that have occurred in various parts of the world. The first one we will see is in the African country of South Sudan." Murray un-paused the remote and a picture of a small village boy appeared, perhaps ten years old, whose face and body were consumed so entirely that only ribbons of skin were visible. "We believe the terrorists began the genetic engineering there in the area of Al-Buhayrat, South Sudan. They tested it there, and you see the result. This child was devoured from inside out. We will see in the second disc the method behind the destruction."
A second scene displayed the words Meriden, Coventry, United Kingdom. In that segment there was a still picture of what was probably at one time a sheep, since there appeared to be fleece littering the perimeter of a stark skeleton. Another still showed a crop field that had obviously been severely damaged. Murray said while the disc ran, "same area as the animal."
In all there were fourteen segments, each detailing events of either animal deaths or crop destruction, and the one occurrence of human death, that being the Sudanese lad. The last twelve were all of rural areas in the United States, starting with a damaged crop field in South Carolina, then two events in Georgia, one in Tennessee, two in Kentucky, one in Arkansas, three in Texas, and one each in Missouri and Indiana.
The disc concluded and Murray asked the other suit to speak. His name was Lampros, a big man with bushy, curly hair. Lampros said, "Unfortunately that tape does not include numerous occurrences both here in the States and abroad that have happened since that video doc was made. And Mr. Klein, the livestock on your spread that was killed is unfortunately just another incident of animal death.” A map appeared on the screen showing the United States with circles superimposed over the effected areas. “You can see by the geographical targeting that the bad guys want to disturb our agricultural infrastructure. Since the three occurrences in Texas, five more have taken place in the same approximate area. Gentlemen, this is very serious, because as you'll see in the next presentation, the carnage will spread like ripples in a pond, and it won't be long before the supermarkets are selling extremely harmful contaminants."
"Keep in mind that the ants you are about to see are the vehicle, not the destructive force that resides attached to the vehicle. We will see that force in the latter half of the next presentation if you will John."
John rose to insert the second compact disc. A second monitor came to life.
