Warm Kisses: A Curvy Girl Romantic Comedy (Warming Up To Love Book 6) Page 3

After a few moments, I look up at her. “I hope you’re not too relaxed to finish.” I wink and watch her bite her juicy bottom lip.

She shyly looks at me and shrugs. “Not at all.” As she leans forward and runs her small hand down the front of my pants, I watch her expressive eyes widen when she feels the large wet spot.

“You turn me into a fucking schoolboy,” I admit and reach down to pull my pants off. As Phoebe’s eyes follow my movements, her stare causes my dick to thump uncontrollably. “I don’t have much control when you’re around,” I tell her honestly. My self-control around her is non-existent.

She glances up at me with her passion-filled eyes and winks. “I’m not complaining. Lie back and let me take control.” She watches me as I lie back across the sheepskin rug and wait for her next move. My breath catches in my throat as she drops to her knees and crawls toward me. “Let me know if I get this right.”

As her soft hands slowly move along my shins and up my thighs, I stare at the ceiling and beg for patience. Glancing down, I see her luscious, pouty lips inches from my aching erection and fear I’ll come the moment she wraps those lips around me. I close my eyes and think about work problems in an effort to cool my rapidly exploding desire. She leans forward, and her soft hair brushes against my abdomen seconds before intense pleasure shoots through me. Her lips are heaven. I take several deep breaths, trying to make this last.

“You’re blowing my mind.” I’m fucking losing my mind as her soft hand wraps around the base of my cock and squeezes in time with her sucks. Her dark brown eyes glance up and stare into mine while she continues to drive me mad. “I’m about to come,” I warn her, and she ignores me as I lose control and nearly black out while coming for the second time in twenty minutes.

She kisses her way up my chest and smiles into my eyes. “That’s two. Are we going for three?”

Fuck yes, we are. “Hell yes.” I hop up and pull her curvy body into my arms. “I still need to feel that tight pussy wrapped around my cock.” Her eyes widen as she bites her lip, but my girl is still with me.

After carrying her to the bedroom, I lay her across the bed and stand back to stare at her perfect, curvy body. Love like I never thought was possible runs through me, and I barely hold the words back. Tonight is for this; tomorrow I’ll admit everything else.

I crawl across her and leave little kisses in my path. Goosebumps break out on her soft skin as I move slowly up her luscious body. My lips wrap around one of her pebble-hard nipples, and she gasps my name. “I’ve waited so long for you,” I admit. While plucking the other nipple with my finger, I bite down gently before soothing the little sting. After I’ve given both of them equal attention, I continue my exploration up her juicy neck.

Our lips meet, and I slip my tongue into her mouth as she opens for me. Reaching between our bodies, I slide a finger into her wetness and feel her inner muscles grip me tightly. I pull back and watch her as I slip a second finger into her silky pussy. “Fuck. You’re going to strangle my dick,” I groan.

She bites her lip and arches her back as I increase the pressure from my fingers. My thumb finds her clit and rubs. “I’m kinda new at this.” That’s an understatement. I realize my girl might have left a few things out when my fingers press against the unmistakable barrier of her innocence.

“We’ll make it work,” I assure her as my heart pounds in my chest. Knowing this girl will only ever belong to me loosens my tongue. “I love you.” I’m unable to hold back the words any longer.

Her inner muscles spasm around my fingers as she comes again. I slow my thrusts to let her recover. After a few moments, she smiles up at me. “I know it’s crazy, but I love you, too.” She kisses my chin and sighs. “Are we still going to finish the main event?”

“That’s my plan.” I nibble on her soft neck before staring down into her eyes. “If you need me to stop, I will.”

Her soft hands wrap around my shoulder as I run my hard cock through her juices. Swallowing, I place my erection at her entrance and begin to press into her wetness. My cock is begging me to slam forwards while I warn myself to move slowly so I don’t hurt my love. Her innocence resists at first, but I push through and pause when her nails dig into my flesh. “You okay?” I lean down and place tiny kisses along her cheeks. She eventually relaxes around me, and I slowly begin to thrust.

“Wow.” She sighs and wraps her legs higher on my hips. I’m able to slip a little deeper, and we both groan as my cock butts against her cervix. I feel the tingling at the base of my spine and know I won’t be able to hold this orgasm back for long.

I lift her leg over my arm and somehow manage to slide even further into her wet center. I rub her clit, and tremors start deep in her pussy and move through her whole body. When Phoebe leans up and bites my shoulder, I see sparks flash behind my eyelids as I come with her. I barely have any strength left, but I manage to roll us over and pull her onto my chest. “I love you,” I tell her one more time.

  Chapter Seven

  DRAKE

THE REST of the weekend flies by while we learn more about each other. Since I refuse to damage her newly broken in little pussy, we’ll have to wait for a repeat performance. My cock rebels at my chivalry, but my heart knows it’s the right thing to do. We stay at the cabin until Monday morning and then head back to the city. I know she’s going to be working extra over the next two weeks since Christmas is her work holiday, and I’m already worrying about our time apart.

As we drive back toward home, I think ahead and dread tonight. I’ve gotten used to falling asleep with her wrapped tightly in my arms, and sleeping all alone in my big bed doesn’t hold any appeal. “I hate to drop you off at home.” I bring her soft hand to my lips and kiss the back of it.

She glances over at me and agrees. “I know. Sleeping alone is going to suck.”

Asking her to come home with me is on the tip of my tongue, but I swallow the words. Our budding relationship is too important to jeopardize by acting rashly.

“I know you work every day until Friday. Would you spend next weekend with me at my house?” Waiting four days will kill me, but my girl is worth any amount of torture.

She glances over and smiles. “Absolutely, I can’t wait.”

Walking Phoebe to her front door causes pain to pierce my heart. In the last few days, she’s become as vital to me as breathing. “I love you.” After dropping her suitcase in her room, I kiss her soft lips and run my hands through her silky hair. “God, it kills me to even think about leaving you.”

“Would you like to do dinner tomorrow night? It’ll have to be a late dinner since I work until seven.” As she bites her lip and glances up, I barely resist the urge to pump my fist in the air to celebrate. I’ll do whatever it takes to spend more time with my girl.

AFTER OUR TRIP to the cabin, Phoebe and I begin to spend all our free time together. Knox is giving me hell at the office over the amount of extra work he’s having to do to keep up, but I ignore him. When he calls me and bitches about his wife missing him, I remind the fucker about all I’ve done to help him in the past.

It’s three days after Christmas, and tonight, we’re having dinner with the entire Walker family to celebrate our holidays. I’m excited they finally get to meet my love. “Would you freaking marry the girl and start pulling your weight around here?” Knox stands at my office door and whines.

“I’m fucking working during the holidays,” I grumble and ignore his ass.

After flipping him off, I text Phoebe to check on our plans for tonight. “Lovesick asshole.” He gets tired of me ignoring him and storms away. I find it funny how quickly he’s forgotten the beginning of his relationship with Sloane. Dickhead.

Before anyone else arrives, we exchange gifts. We postponed our holiday celebration until today because of Phoebe’s work schedule. She’s worked for the last four days in a row. After working twelve hours a day, she came home too exhausted to even think about presents.

  She
laughs and throws her arms around my neck when she sees the diamond pendant tucked inside the light blue box. “Oh my. It’s beautiful. “She stares down at it and bites her lip. “But it’s way too much.”

I take the platinum necklace out of the velvet box and place it around her neck. “Nothing is too much for you.” Kissing her soft skin, I think about the matching ring I bought at the same time. Soon, I’ll slip it on her finger.

Phoebe gives me a new sweater, and I pull it on over my dress shirt. “I feel like you got the short end of the gift-giving stick,” she worries, and I lean over to kiss her soft lips.

“You’re the best present I’ve ever gotten. Nothing could ever be better.” As she kisses me, I wonder if it’s too late to cancel our dinner plans with the Walkers? I’d rather spend the evening alone with my girl.

Knox and Sloane, his wife, arrive first. While the girls hit it off immediately, Knox glances over at me and smirks. “Holy shit. I can’t believe you got such a beautiful woman to give you the time of day.” I rub the side of my head with my middle finger, and he laughs. “Seriously, I’m happy for you.” He looks at the girls then back over at me. “Now, you’ve had your time off. Between the accident and taking all this time to woo your girl. I’m drowning.” He sighs dramatically, and I roll my eyes. “Please, get your ass back to the office.”

Shaking my head, I frown. “What are you bitching about? I’ve been there every day since I got out of the hospital.”

He walks over and pours us each a drink and sighs. “Nope. Your body has been at work. I have no idea where the hell your mind has been.” After he hands me the whiskey, I take a sip and realize he’s right. Phoebe has been consuming every ounce of my brain for weeks.

The elder Walkers and Sally arrive a little later, and the rest of the night passes as everyone gets to know my girl. “You’re one lucky man.” Mr. Walker walks up and slaps my back. Like father like son runs through my mind, and I smirk at him.

“Yeah, your son already told me.” As he throws back his head and laughs, Mrs. Walker glances over and smiles. Their approval means a lot to me, but at this point, nothing can stand in my way. My heart and soul belong to Phoebe.

I drive Phoebe home after everyone leaves, and it kills me to watch her walk into her apartment. She works for the next three days, and I miss her already. “I’ll see you tomorrow after work.” On my way home, I realize I need to make Phoebe mine forever. Leaving her at the end of the evening is getting harder and harder to do. It’s time to get my ring on her finger and give her my last name.

OVER THE NEXT MONTH, our schedules get even crazier. I hate the amount of time we’re spending apart, and I keep waiting for the right moment to propose to my girl.

One morning, I’m standing outside my office door discussing a client with Knox when my cell phone buzzes in my pocket. I’m tempted to ignore it, but something tells me to answer the call. Although I don’t recognize the number, I signal for Knox to hold on and answer. “Hello.”

Eve’s voice makes the hairs stand up on the back of my neck. “You need to get over here right now and fix the mess you’ve caused.” Fear cuts through me, and I leave Knox standing in the hallway with his mouth hanging open as I rush away.

I’m halfway to Phoebe’s apartment before I realize I never finished my conversation with Eve. Oh well. She’ll have to forgive me. I panic the entire fifteen minutes to her place and am covered in sweat by the time I arrive.

After rushing up to the door, I bang until Eve throws it open and glares at me. “I hold you personally responsible for this.”

“Tell me what’s wrong,” I practically beg. I keep assuring myself I can fix it, no matter what is happening.

Eve sighs and points at the bathroom. “She’s been throwing up all morning.” I blink several times, and my heart drops. The thought of my girl suffering sends worry shooting through me. I push past Eve and thunder toward the bathroom. My legs nearly give out, and I have to lock my knees when she calls behind me, “According to the test we took this morning, you knocked her up.” I look over my shoulder, and Eve is smiling at me. She raises an eyebrow and shrugs. “Now, you need to take care of her.”

Holy shit. Happiness and excitement fight with worry. I rush into the tiny ass bathroom and find my girl laying on the floor. “Hey.” I push her sweaty hair off her face. “Do you need to go to the hospital?” Surely, this isn’t normal.

She blinks up at me and smiles weakly. “I don’t think they can do anything for this.” She points at her stomach and shrugs. “Surprise.” The fear mixed with happiness shining in her eyes causes my heart to squeeze in my chest.

I kiss her forehead and whisper, “God, I love you.” She swallows and looks up at me. “I’m going to take care of you and the little one,” I promise her. Not willing to take any chances with her health, I gently lift her into my arms and head for the bedroom.

“Let’s get you checked out.” She opens her mouth to argue, then closes it and drops her head against my chest.

After laying her gently on the bed, I call Knox. He jumps into action and gets me information quickly. Sloane recommends a physician, and I’m able to talk to someone right away. The female doctor assures me exhaustion and nausea are perfectly normal in early pregnancy, but she still wants to examine Phoebe to be sure.

Three hours later, I settle Phoebe into my overstuffed recliner and smile. “I’m so happy.” We have ultrasound pictures of our little peanut to prove there’s a tiny baby in our future. Love for my family is pouring through me.

“You don’t have to look forward to throwing up the next few months,” she grumbles then smiles as she glances down at the photos.

“True, but I’m going to take good care of you.” I kiss her forehead and place my hand over her soft tummy. “I wish I could go through this for you.” Seeing her miserable kills me. The next eight months promise to be long and excruciating.

She lays her head back against the leather chair and sighs. “I’m sorry to complain. I really am happy.”

“I know.” After pulling her feet up, I cover her with my soft throw blanket and tell her, “Get some rest while I order us dinner.”

Her stomach seems to calm down after she rests, but I know there’s no way I’m letting my girl work twelve-hour shifts while she’s carrying our child.

Once we eat a light dinner, I take Phoebe’s hand and lead her to my sofa. Worry flashes through her dark brown eyes as she waits for me to speak. “I fell in love with you the first time you walked into my hospital room.” I lift her hand to my lips and kiss the soft skin on the back of her knuckles. “I know our relationship has moved at warp speed, but I wasn’t truly living until I found you.” I drop to my knees in front of her and pull the diamond ring out of my pocket. “I want you to know I bought this when I got your pendant.” Her eyes widen as she stares at me wordlessly. I want my girl to know the truth. “Finding out about our baby gave me the excuse I’ve been looking for to finally ask you to marry me.”

Phoebe bites her lip, and I worry she’s going to say that things are moving too fast. No matter what, I refuse to give up on my family. I’m about to rush on to assure her that I’ll give her all the time she needs, but she shocks me. “Are you ever going to ask?” I see Phoebe’s eyes light up with her sassy attitude, and love roars through me.

“No.” I take her hand and slip the ring onto her finger. “I changed my mind.” I smirk down at her smiling face. “No more Mr. Nice Guy. You’re mine, and we’re getting married.”

“I love you.” She sighs against my neck as I hug her tight and then kiss her soft lips.

“You showed me what love really is.”

  Epilogue

  DRAKE

  Ten months later

AS I STARE DOWN at my two-month-old son, I wonder how I got this fucking lucky. One sports car mixed with a patch of black ice, and my fortunate ass ended up with a beautiful wife and precious tiny son. Our two best friends are over visiting, and I’m counting
the minutes until I can kick them out and get some alone time with my wife.

“You’re one lucky asshole.” Knox leans over and smiles down at Jason. “He looks just like your wife.”

I glance at my best friend and glare. “Fuck off, dickhead.”

Across the room, my wife clears her throat, and I roll my eyes. “He’s too young to pick up my bad language,” I defend myself.

“Yeah, but I’ve learned it takes a long time to train you.” She winks, and I’m ready to rush the other two out the door.

As Knox snorts, I glance over at my wife and wiggle my eyebrows. “I look forward to some more training later.”

Knox makes gagging sounds, and his wife hits him over the head. “Stop being rude.”

“Me?” He smacks his hand against his chest before pointing at me. “He’s the one bragging about his kinky sex life.”

Both women ignore his outburst and go back to discussing their decorating ideas. Knox and I watch the game on television while Jason sleeps quietly in my arms.

Sometime later, my wife walks over and reaches for our son. “This little guy is going to want some attention soon.”

As I glance at Knox out the corner of my eye, I’m unable to stop myself from torturing my best friend a little more. “Save some of your attention for me.” I wiggle my eyebrows, and Phoebe rolls her eyes while Knox grumbles about “horny motherfuckers” and storms over to sit next to his wife.

Since their three kids are spending the day with Knox’s parents today, we invited them over for lunch. Now that we all have little ones, it’s getting harder to find time to get together.
