THINK!
The cousins become friends with a family that is very different from them. Team up with one of your friends and make a list of the ways you are the same and different.
FEEL!
In the story, Dante is very afraid of fire, so the ferrets are his worst nightmare. Draw a picture of yourself standing up to the thing you’re most afraid of.
ACT!
The ferrets are tamed by the cold. Here’s a recipe for sweet icy treats:
1. Fill an ice tray with your favorite fruit juice or smoothie.
2. Cover it with plastic wrap.
3. Insert toothpicks into each square.
4. Pop the tray into the freezer.
5. Once it’s frozen, enjoy your tasty ice pops!
