The wonderful campsite in Le Mans is run by a company called Lycian Events which I thoroughly recommend if you ever want to experience the thrills of twenty-four-hour racing.
As the world, hopefully, starts to generate a new normal, to reopen and to meet again as we rebuild our lives post-pandemic, it is more important than ever that we support our favourite places so we can continue to enjoy them for years to come. So, if you are ever in Saffron Walden, please visit the shops and eateries I have described and maybe, just maybe, you will bump into me whilst you are there. I hope you will love them as much as I do.
Finally, a couple of words of thanks. Thank you to all my family, friends and colleagues who have supported and encouraged me on this journey. Particular thanks to Richard, Andy and Tracey, who provided me with invaluable advice and guidance. And, thank you to ‘Doris’ (Sue) for your enthusiasm and kind words, especially during my moments of doubt.
