Sinners- The Dawn Of Kalki Page 22

by Naveen Durgaraju

“See, you should listen to me when I ask you to go to sleep and also let me sleep,” she laughed, her eyes twinkling with mischief.

She brought her face closer to him. Vikranth moved away from the kiss.

“What’s wrong?” Urushi asked, looking hurt.

“Nothing. I don’t feel too well,” he quickly lied.

He couldn’t tell her because he himself couldn’t understand it. Why did he feel what he had felt when she came close? Why did the voice inside his head ask him the same question again that he had heard long time ago in presence of a nuclear God?

How could he tell her? - That when her face was inches away from him, all he could feel was something so intense and fierce that it almost scared him; that what he had felt was an insatiable, wild and almost cruel hunger.
