Edward still standing in the same position gulped audibly and muttered under his breath "m-monster."

Once Caesar made it out of the training grounds, he headed back for the palace "I was going to wait a week or so before leaving, but after hearing what Edward had to say…" Caesar's eyes turned cold as he walked rhythmically towards the palace.

About 10 minutes later Caesar reached the palace gates to see Sebastian waiting for him at the top. "Young Master. The carriage is already prepared."

Caesar nodded and let Sebastian lead the way. They soon made it to a parked carriage... Caesar stepped in first, followed by Sebastian.

The carriage driver immediately commanded the horses to move. Inside the Carriage, Caesar and Sebastian were sitting in silence until Sebastian opened his mouth first to break the silence.

"Young master, although you are a genius at making weapons or leading an army, running a business is vastly different… I hope that you follow my lead," Sebastian hesitated for a moment and said to Caesar with a severe expression.

Caesar smirked and folded his legs inside the carriage "you don't need to worry about that, Sebastian… these merchants will fall for my trap within a few simple words," Caesar stated in a matter-of-fact tone.

  CHAPTER SEVEN

The carriage moved slowly through the streets. Finally, after about 10 minutes, the carriage driver stopped the horses and called out, "we have arrived at the merchants guild."

Caesar stepped out of the carriage, followed by Sebastian, in front of them, was a large building with people rushing in and out. Caesar and Sebastian followed the crowd and entered into the building.

Caesar and Sebastian stood in line with the rest; at the end of the line was the receptionist. She was a beauty with long flowing blue hair and cute round cheeks… She carried a mesmerizing smile at all times as she dealt with the customers.

Soon it was Caesar and Sebastian's turn. They walked towards the receptionist.

"Hello, welcome to the merchants guild how can I help yo-" The receptionist said with a smile but paused when she saw Caesar's face and entered into a daze.

Caesar smiled "I am here for an appointed meeting with the merchants guild. My name is Mephisto Pheles."

The girl was still in a daze for a few seconds before she finally got a hold of herself and blushed "y-yes, I will check right now."

The girl immediately started rummaging through the papers on her desk in a fluster… after about a few minutes, she looked up, "your appointment is registered, please walk up those stairs on the left and enter the door at the end of the hall," the girl replied respectfully.

"Thank you," Caesar said briefly as he walked with Sebastian to the stairs she directed them too.

Caesar and Sebastian walked up the stairs and walked through the long hall, they reached the door at the end, and Sebastian lightly knocked on the door.

The sound of rushed footsteps could be heard from the opposite side of the door.

Soon a middle-aged woman poked her head out. She had tied up black hair and a pair of glasses. She studied both Sebastian and Caesar for a few seconds before putting on a professional smile

"Welcome Mephisto Pheles and Sebastian, please come this way," she said with a smile as she opened the door all the way.

Caesar nodded and walked in first. The room was simple, with a small desk in the middle. Stacks of paper were piled on the desk.

The lady smiled bashfully as she put the stacks of paper somewhere else and sat on her chair behind the desk, she gestured to the two seats in front of her "come to sit down, my name is Olivia."

Caesar sat on the right chair, and Sebastian sat on the left, Caesar put his right hand forward and offered a handshake "nice to meet you, Olivia."

Olivia shook hands with Caesar and took out a single piece of paper from one of her doors and put it in front of Caesar.

Olivia's lips curled as she patiently explained, "the merchants guild is quite interesting in buying/selling weapons from you."

Caesar nodded slowly as he glanced at the paper in front of him, he tapped the desk and asked curiously, "are you the boss of this merchants guild."

"I am merely the boss of this branch that's part of the guild. However, I had already written a letter to the regional manager, and he is also quite interested in these weapons."

Caesar nodded his head and slowly read the contents on the piece of paper.

Soon a young girl with chestnut hair and an energetic face walked in with three cups of tea, she walked over to the table and slowly put the three cups of tea in front of Caesar, Sebastian, and Olivia respectively. She bowed respectfully afterward and walked out.

Caesar took a sip of tea and pushed the paper back toward Olivia. He raised head and looked straight into her eyes "I decline this contract."

The smile on Olivia's face crumbled, and she asked quickly, "why? This is a great deal."

Caesar calmly smiled, "you guys want to buy my ballistae for merely 100 gold a piece and want to make it so that I can't sell with anyone but you?" Caesar asked in a sarcastic tone.

"You have almost no connections, who would buy your weapons besides us? We can get you the exposure you need," Olivia replied swiftly.

"I am the crown prince of a country and not to mention I now have thousands of elves under me… how can I be considered to have no connections?" Caesar asked Olivia curiously

"T-that is…" Olivia stammered for an excuse

Caesar pushed the contract further away with his index finger and smiled widely, "I have a different proposition."

Olivia replaced her flustered expression with a professional smile again and looked at Caesar with anticipation.

"I'm listening," she said while looking at Caesar.

Caesar smiled slyly and leaned back in his chair "I want the merchants guild to help mass produce my weapons under the leadership of Danny and sell them with the best of their abilities… I will gain 90% of all profits, whereas the merchants guild will gain 10%."

Olivia looked, Caesar, shocked, "only 10%?"

"We won't be buyer and seller, but instead partners, you will gain 10% of all transactions, including future weapons, which will result in you being the top market for weapons."

Caesar paused for a second and continued.

"Although you gain less money, you will gain much more fame."

Olivia tapped the desk and contemplated, "Will we sell them under our name or yours?" Olivia looked at Caesar curiously

"We will sell them under a company name. The merchants guild will become partners with said company…" as Caesar said this, he flipped a black coin with purple edged in his hand.

Olivia placed her chin in her hands and hummed, "hmmm."

While she was still in contemplation, Caesar delivered the final blow, "I will also gift you a few ballistae and a couple dozen crossbows to showcase to the buyers."

Olivia stood up from her desk and paced back and forth while thinking to herself self "the merchants guild will undoubtfully make a lot of money from this deal, and we practically don't lose anything but…. This man will make an incredible amount of money as well. I Don't have any way to rebuke him either; he is too good."

Olivia sat back at her desk and raised two fingers, "25%, and it's a deal?"

Caesar shook his head, "10%, take it, or leave it."

Olivia audibly gnashed her teeth before dropping her head in resignation, "I will speak to my boss about your proposition, I will get back to you when I confirm our stance on the matter."

Caesar stood up from his chair and nodded, "I expect to hear the good news," he chuckled and walked towards the door.

Sebastian followed silently, and they soon left Olivia alone… Caesar and Sebastian walked through the long hallway and down the stairs.

"Young master, do you think they will accept?" Sebastian asked

"They don't have a position to decline" Caesar replied

Sebastian looked at Caesar, curiously, "what do you mean?
"

"This deal will make them earn lots of money. My weapons will sell to nobles, kings, mercenaries, rebels, and many other affiliations. The market for weapons at this time is extraordinary, I don't need to sell them through the merchants guild in particular, but they will need me" Caesar replied

  "I see," Sebastian answered absentmindedly.

Caesar stepped back into the carriage and sat down… he placed his head in his palm and smiled, "and because they gain 10% of all money from transactions made, they will try their best to sell more products, which will, in turn, make me more money… it's hitting two birds with one stone."

Once Sebastian sat in the carriage, Caesar opened the window and ordered the carriage drive "head towards the blacksmith."

  "As you command."

Caesar sat back down in the carriage and saw Sebastian looking at him curiously.

"I need to get some tools for Joe. I promised him I would," Caesar explained.

Sebastian nodded his head in understanding; they both sat in silence for the rest of the way until the carriage finally stopped. Caesar stepped out and walked into the blacksmith.

The sound of hammering resounded throughout the entire shop, Caesar calmly walked to the counter, the sound of hammering stopped, and a muscled man entered into Caesar's eyes.

"Long time no see" Caesar smiled and greeted

  "Indeed, what do you need?"

Caesar stroked his chin "I need a pair of blacksmithing tools."

"Alright, I can get that for you."

After waiting for about 10 minutes, the man came back with a big bag full of tools… "that will be 20 silver coins."

Caesar placed a gold coin on the desk and picked up the bag, "keep the change," he said with a smile as he walked out of the blacksmith shop.

Caesar stepped back into the carriage and sat down. He placed the bag of things on the other side of the seat next to Sebastian.

"Alright, head back home… I got a promise to keep with Elizabeth," Caesar thundered to the carriage driver.

  CHAPTER EIGHT

"We have arrived, your highness," the carriage driver called out from the front and halted the horses.

Caesar hurled the giant bag of blacksmithing tools over his shoulder and stepped out of the carriage. Sebastian quickly followed after him, and they both made their way to the palace.

They walked up the broad set of stairs and approached the doors… The guards, upon noticing Caesar's presence, bowed profoundly and opened the doors.

Once they walked inside the palace, Caesar turned towards Sebastian and asked: "where is Joe currently staying?"

"He is staying in the left-wing; he is in room number 25," Sebastian replied respectfully.

"Thank you, also, can you inform my father that I would like to speak with him tomorrow morning" Caesar thanked Sebastian and started walking towards the left-wing.

"Your wish is my command," Sebastian replied humbly before walking towards the inner palace.

Caesar walked through the massive palace and admired its elegance; pictures of famous and historical figures decorated the walls. Expensive looking vases and other eye candies were also placed on both sides of the walkways.

Maids and butlers were always scrambling around to clean the rooms or prepare food for the residents of the palace. Once Caesar walked by them, they would bow deeply before carrying on with their task. After walking for about 4 minutes, Caesar finally arrived in front of a wooden door that was labeled '25'

Caesar hesitated for second before he lifted his hand and gently knocked on the door.

The door was immediately thrown open, and an excited looking Joe popped out… Once he saw Caesar's face, he instantly calmed down and looked at Caesar with disgust.

"Hmph, I thought a woman was paying me a nightly visit, sorry brother, but I don't swing that way," Joe said mockingly.

Caesar rolled his eyes and walked past Joe, he stepped inside the room and plopped the bag of blacksmithing tools on the table.

Caesar scanned the room afterward and noticed that it was quite dull compared to his. There was a small desk and bed in one of the corners and a bookcase on the opposite side. There was also a bathroom on the right-side wall.

Caesar scanned Joe's bed and noticed there were a few opened books and traces of movement.

Joe followed Caesar's line of sight and coughed lightly. He walked over and subtly closed the books on his bed "Oi, why are you looking at me like I'm some kind of bug, huh? Every man does it" Joe said with resentment towards Caesar

"I pity the maid that has to wash your sheets," Caesar whispered to himself, barely audible enough for Joe to hear it.

"Fucking bastard, do you think you're perfect? I saw you walk in that fox girls room that one night" Joe argued.

"Ahem, I brought the blacksmithing tools you asked for" Caesar cleared his throat and quickly changed the subject.

"Bastard changing the subject," Joe grumbled as he walked over to the table and took the blacksmithing tools out one by one.

"What the fuck are these?" Joe asked Caesar bewildered

A vein popped out on Caesar's head "these are the basic blacksmithing tools you asked for."

Joe looked at Caesar as if he was an idiot, "I said basic tools, you think I'm going to make a damn magic accessory with a hammer?"

A second vein popped out on Caesar's forehead "If you needed something specific, why the hell did you tell me to get you basic blacksmithing tools."

"Heh, I thought someone of your caliber would know what to get," Joe said with a mocking smile.

Caesar cracked his knuckles and asked Joe in the most delightful way possible, "so, what do you need to make a magic accessory?"

"Well, first, I need a magic engraver… It looks similar to a needle, but it is a great conductor for mana… I also need a magic stone that will hold and recover the mana in the accessory."

Caesar kicked Joe in the abdomen knocking him flying from the room into the hallway "you call those basic blacksmithing tools? Are you mentally disabled?" Caesar smiled menacingly while walking towards Joe that was on the ground.

"Haha, you can hurt me, but you will never break me," Joe said with an ugly smile.

  15 seconds later….

"I-I'm sorry, no more Caesar, I'm your brother, remember?"

"Sigh, where can I find the things you need?" Caesar breathed a long sigh and straightened out his shirt.

Joe that was currently under the foot of Caesar, squirmed a little bit and stood back up, "finding the magic engraver is easy. The magic stone is going to be tricky, though."

Caesar rubbed his forehead with his index finger, "you're worthless," Caesar muttered.

"Oi, I am a dwarf. I can find magic stones easily if I travel around the world," Joe roared with indignation.

"Okay, the front gates are open… You can go ahead and adventure," Caesar replied with a straight face.

"Haha, did you forget that you must give me ale at least once a week?" Joe asked smugly

"Sigh, I was planning on taking you to the dark continent anyway," Caesar replied exasperatedly.

"W-wait, I can probably just stay if that is the case…" Joe said quickly after hearing the words 'dark continent.'

"No, no, you are definitely going… we need to calm your adventurous spirit, right?" Caesar said with a sly smile while walking away, not giving Joe a chance to refute his words.

"Nooooooooo!" Joe's roar echoed throughout the entire palace.

Caesar quickly walked through the palace halls without turning around. After walking for a few minutes absentmindedly, he soon passed by a familiar room.

Caesar hesitated for a few seconds before finally approaching the door.

Caesar lightly tapped the door, and he could hear flustered movements from the other side of the walls.

After waiting a few minutes, the door was finally opened, and Renee poked her head out. Once she saw Caesar's face, she immediately blushed and slammed the door.

; Caesar's lip twitched as he went to open the door… "locked?" he whispered to himself while looking at the door with a dumbfounded expression.

Inside the room, Renee was hugging a pillow tightly on her bed, she had a regretful and depressed face "I want to let him in, but I'm scared I won't be able to resist him and what happened last time will repeat itself" Renee blushed just thinking about last night.

Suddenly the door swung open, and Caesar walked in with a sly smile, "is there a reason you're avoiding me?" he asked Renee curiously.
