"I know. It's okay. I love you too. Hearing you say the words means everything to me." Tavish tugged me back to the showers. "I hope the others know not to bother us." He dropped his towel, then went to work on taking off my clothes.
"We won't hurt them, will we?" I tossed my shoes aside and pushed down my pants.
"If they come back here, I might. Hopefully, they'll smell us and know to leave us alone." Tavish sighed. "I've longed for us to do this since the day we met. Now, we have fifteen minutes to do it. I'm not sure it's enough—"
"It has to be. What do I do?"
"We are going to have really fast, really hard sex. We'll be face to face. When it's almost time for us to both come, we'll say these words to each other one at a time. I accept you as my mate and will love and care for you, putting your protection above all else as long as we both shall live. Once we both say that, then we both will do a partial shift, allowing our wolves out only a little bit as we bite each other's shoulder. That should cause the mating bond to kick in fully and completely."
I nodded. "Let's do this."
"Are you sure? We can get a hotel room tonight. Take our time." Tavish looked worried.

Without thinking, I leaned forward, aware I had changed too as I found his shoulder and sank my fangs into his flesh at the same moment he sank his into mine.
Power, maybe even magic seemed to flow through my blood. I fought a haze of confusion for a moment, trying to grasp each sensation that hit me. My orgasm shot through me, cum spilling over my cock while the heat from Tavish's orgasm filled my body.

I understood his thoughts, his feelings in a way that I never had before. I was inside his head, reading his soul, and he was doing the same to mine.
We dressed without words, no longer needing them. I understood his love for me, felt the commitment, and knew, even if that other wolf had tried to force Tavish to do something, he wouldn't have. We belonged to each other in every way possible.
"I love you." I kissed him hard.
"And I love you." He took my hand in his, leading me out of the dressing room.
Outside the door, the rest of the band glared at us, but then, as if they caught the scent, they all smiled.
"It's about fucking time." Jackson grinned. "Congratulations. Now don't let this new mating fuck up your flow tonight, okay?" He smacked Tavish on the back.
"It will be the best show I've ever given." Tavish wrapped an arm around my shoulders as we walked to the stage.
As he kissed me once more before going up on the stage, I wondered why I'd waited so long. Tavish and I were meant to be. It wasn't scary to have him in my head. It wasn't overpowering to allow him into mine. This was how it was supposed to be. I'd fought for so long not to give up control, but it was only through the mating ritual that I was finally free.
I turned, watching Tavish take the stage, feeling his love flow through me unlike it ever had before.

Tavish smiled at me as I stood, my shoulder bleeding, but finally part of the pack. Each member had welcomed me, and now, I could also feel a strong sense of family working through my veins. It wasn't as strong as the link I had with Tavish, but I was able to feel the pack, understand the devotion to one another, and I could feel Kurt. His pride in me was strong, and unlike the first time he'd used his power on me, I welcomed this. I was part of Terrin Pass Pack.
"Welcome to the pack." Kurt hugged me.
I hugged him back, enjoying the comfort of knowing that half the pack no longer wished me dead. I'd vowed to be part of them. Between that and my mating to Tavish, I was now one of them. "Thanks. Sorry, it took so long."
"You've been busy. Life with Tavish will keep you on the run," Kurt teased.
"There's no one else I'd rather be with." I smiled as Tavish's arm went around me.
"Good thing. I'd chase you down," Tavish said.
"Remember, he was mine first." Justice came up behind us.
I'd grown used to his teasing, but his comment drew a growl from Tavish. "Find your own mate, Justice."
"My own twin won't share. Can you believe that?" Justice teased. "Seriously, congratulations, Mark. I'm glad you joined with us. When we met, I never dreamed that someday I'd be calling you brother."
I smiled, remembering the hate in Justice's eyes the day we first met and I had to choose him or death. "I thought you were a curse, but you ended up being good luck." I patted Justice's arm. "Thanks for sharing your brother with me."
"As if I had a choice," Justice grumbled.
I smiled, comfortable with the twins in a way that I hadn't thought possible. They were family, and that was something I would never take for granted.
"So what's next for you two?" Josh, Kurt's mate asked.
"We're getting married," Tavish said louder than he probably needed to.
Josh frowned. "B

"Yeah, but all my fans are human and they want to see a human wedding. We decided it was best to go through the motions. We're going to get married in a month. We'll let you all know the details once we have them ready." Tavish smiled at Justice. "You'll be my best man, right?"
Justice flipped him off, then smiled. "You better not ask anyone else."
"And I was hoping that you might stand by me." I looked at Josh. "You were the first person here that helped me feel at ease. It would mean a lot to me."
"Of course. I'd be happy to." Josh hugged me gently since my shoulder was still raw and weeping blood from the ceremony that had me joining the pack.
"Thanks." I meant every word. Josh grounded me and reminded me that it was okay to remember my human life, but that by accepting being wolf, I was opening myself up to a whole new world of possibilities.
"If you all don't mind, I'm going to steal my mate and get him healed." Tavish bent and licked over my bloody shoulder.
"Go enjoy yourself. All the rooms on the top floor are empty." Kurt grinned.
We turned and walked away without another word.
Once upstairs, I turned to Tavish. "Tonight was amazing, but joining pack was nothing compared to joining with you."
"Nope, we weren't on a dirty arena floor." Tavish laughed.
"We made up for it at the hotel later that night." After his concert, we'd skipped out on the bus ride to Utah and had gotten a room in town. We'd redone the ceremony, taking our time, and enjoying the feeling of exploring our new connection. We'd flown out the next morning to catch up with the band.
"I know everyone thinks we're crazy for getting married, but you know what? I can't wait. Any way I can commit myself to you is a good thing. We might not need the human wedding, but I'm going to enjoy every second of it."
"So am I. I have no regrets."
"None?" Tavish asked.
"Only that it took me so long to trust you. I should have accepted our mating from day one."
"Don't regret any of that. We were together and that is all that mattered. We'll be together until we die, and nothing is going to take that away from us now." He kissed me gently, then stepped back. "How about some wolf time?"
My wolf came alive in my mind, ready to spend time with its mate. "The perfect way to end the perfect day."
"It's not perfect yet, but my wolf is ready to make it that way." Tavish grinned.
"I love you so much." I smiled.
"I love you too."
Staring at the man I loved, ready to be with the wolf I loved just as much, I wondered if fate had led me here. Had everything happened in the past so I could be so happy now? As I shifted into my wolf, I knew that nothing would take this happiness from me. This was who I was meant to be, and no matter how I got here, I was never going to take for granted how perfect life was now. I'd finally found my family, but more importantly, I found myself.
