Grace hadn’t given it much thought until lately. Jenna had always been the sweetest one of the group, and that was saying a lot. Lately, they’d witnessed more spunk in Lily, but she was still incredibly selfless as well.
Once again her mind wandered to Brady. The sweetest, kindest, most selfless man she’d ever met. He changed her world, her view of the world, and she’d love him for the rest of her life.
“Oh god,” Mia moaned. “She’s at it again.”
Alexis elbowed her again. “It’s my duty as your sister to keep you focused on the group and not your sex life.”
“We’ve all been through it.” Lily laughed. “Being in love looks good on you, Grace. Welcome to the club.”
The six of them stood and clinked their plastic cups together. She bit her lip and grinned as she looked at each of her friends who were genuinely happy for her. Mia pretended to gag, but the light in her eyes showed she was only teasing.
The spark wasn’t as bright in Jenna’s eyes this time. Unlike Mia, Grace felt Jenna really did want to find someone.
And Grace would make it her mission to make sure her friends were as truly happy as she was.
THE END
ACKNOWLEDGMENTS
ONCE AGAIN THIS BOOK wouldn’t have come together without my sprinting buddies. Well, it would have eventually been written, but not as quickly as it did. I appreciate the support and challenges you continuously post in our writing groups.
Thank you, readers, for filling my Facebook page with ideas and suggestions when I come begging for help. For this book, I had asked you all for cooking disaster stories. And the winner was ... Meg M! I enjoyed making Brady and Carter suffer through the garlic bulb vs. garlic clove ordeal. I’m sure I’ll be working more reader cooking disasters into future books.
To Silla. I swear I know how to spell and punctuate and write a story. Thank you for being so thorough and gracious in pointing out when I don’t.
Finally, thank you to my family for leaving me alone when I’m writing, and for pretending to be excited for me when I share my excitement about typing The End. I love you all dearly!
If you enjoyed Here With You, please consider leaving a review wherever you purchased the book. If you were gifted the book, you can still leave a review on Amazon, BookBub, and Goodreads.
I love hearing from my readers. Tell me what you think of Grace’s story and what you’d like to see from me in the future! You can email me at [email protected]. I do my best to reply to every email within a reasonable amount of time.
