Undying Affinity Page 25

by Sara Naveed

Thank you, Manaum Zain, for being one of my first editors and reviewers.

Thank you, Khalid Sahib, for helping me understand the nuances of writing better.

A big thank you to the amazing team at Penguin Random House India.

Lastly, I would like to express my gratitude to Fawad A. Khan for being my inspiration. I had the idea for my book for a few years but something was holding me back. He was a driving force in my life. I wrote Undying Affinity with him in mind. The character of Ahmar Muraad is highly inspired by Fawad—his way of speaking, body language, facial expressions, postures and movements, and even his dress sense.

I dedicate this book to you, Fawad. I deeply thank you for being the hero and centre of my story.

Last but not least, I want to thank Allah for giving me the ability and patience.
