“Such a romantic.”
He shrugs with a smile on his sexy as hell lips. “Always.”
“This is so cool of Bristyl. Some women get all pissed off wanting to be the center of attention, but not her. She’s out there dancin’ her ass off with Leah. She’s so perfect for my brother.”
She was made to be with Cooper and I can’t wait to see him say his vows. Tears spring to my eyes; yes, it’ll be a tissue fest, that’s for sure. He’s my big brother, and I love him. And I love her.
“Perfect time to do it. We’re all here. Leah’s folks are here. And yours. Hey, you wanna be next?”
I jab my elbow into his ribs as he bursts out laughing. “You think you’re so damn funny. Just for that no sex for you tonight.”
His laughter becomes so much people begin to stare at us wondering what the hell is going on. I ignore it because with Ryker, I’m used to it. He’s always doing something crazy, gathering attention. It’s one of the things I love about him, but don’t tell him, because his head would explode, and I’d never hear the end of it.
“Babe, I tell you to get on your knees and suck my cock deep in your throat and lace my fingers through your hair massaging your head—you’ll give up anything.” He pulls me in, kissing my temple.
Fucker is right. “Why do you have to be so hot? It’s your fault.”
He holds his arms out with a cocky grin, and I know what’s coming. The vault has been opened and the gauntlet thrown down. “Babe, there is no better than this right here.”
My eyes roll dramatically. While I believe he’s right about that, I’d never tell him. Instead, I act annoyed. It’s a game. The push and pull that keeps our relationship on its toes. The one that we’ve never lost. I love that he knows how to push my buttons, and I can do the same to him.
It riles me up, and I’ll be dragging his ass out of here soon to work that out.
He pulls me in his arms, leans down, and kisses me hard and deep. My thoughts scramble, focusing on his lips on mine and nothing more.
When he releases me, I say one word, “October.”
His smile lights up his face. “October.”
Looks like I’m getting hitched in a few months.
Hell yeah.
Chapter Five
Crow
My brother is getting married. Fuck me. It’s still strange to say those words. Brother. Yes, we’ve gotten closer. Yes, we see each other often. But there is all this time we missed. It’s a learning experience that we’re both working on.
When I got the call from Cooper to be at the wedding, the answer was immediately yes. There was no way in hell I’d miss this big day for him.
We’ve missed way too much as it is. It’s time to build memories and not have the past dictate how we proceed in life.
Rylynn’s arms squeeze around me, and I look down at her. Fuck, she’s beautiful. The most beautiful woman I’ve ever laid eyes on. The most gorgeous blue eyes that always capture me. Entrap me. Love me.
Life led us to be together, and I’ll never let her go. She owns me just as much as I own her.
Together, we’re unstoppable.
I kiss her temple. “If you make me cry like this, I’ll kick your ass.”
This makes me throw my head back and laugh. It’s deep in my gut and feels so damn good. Not only that, my woman would try. She’d get a few hard licks in before I took over and fucked her.
It’s what I love about her. She takes no shit and tells it like it is.
“I’ll have you cryin’ alright.” Her brows lift. “Cryin’ out for me to fuck you harder.”
It is her turn to laugh. “That’s a given.”
Bending my head down, I take my woman’s mouth and show her exactly how much I love her.
Now and forever. Let’s do this.
Chapter Six
Rylynn
I love him.
Our journey has been paved with obstacles one after another. It’s time for us to be happy. Time for our families to be happy.
I love being in Rebellion. I truly feel like home there. Maybe because it’s still Ravage, but mostly because it’s Crow and where Crow is, well, that is home. We visit Sumner often, and, of course, when Cooper called about his wedding there was no hesitation in coming to Florida.
All together, all in celebration, this shit feels good.
No matter where the road ahead leads us, we’ll all support one another through every curve, hard turns, and even the unpaved paths.
Ravage MC until the end.
Chapter Seven
Deke
“Son.” My father comes up and slaps me on the shoulder, then crosses his arms over his chest all the while still looking out at my sister being a goof on the dance floor. Emery is one of a kind, and it’s great to see her happy.
Don’t like thinking about her with Jacks, but it is what it is. No man wants to think of his sister that way. And if he hurts her, I’ll break his fucking neck. Brother or not, Emery is always going to be my little sister, and I’ll protect her with all that I have.
I lift my chin in greeting to him. The tension between us isn’t as dense as it once was. Before, when I left, we couldn’t be in the same room with each other. He’d been so angry with me for leaving that it severed remotely anything I had with him.
Now, that I’ve been back for a while, our relationship is a work in progress. We’re creating a new normal. There are times when I see this look come across his face, like he’s remembering something from that time in our lives.
Can’t help him with that. I’ve already let it go. It’s up to him if he does or not.
For the most part, though, we’re good and have spent a shit load of time together. Just like right now, standing next to each other without a word but conveying so much at the same time.
My mother steps in front of me beautiful as ever. Her blonde hair is growing from when the chemo took most of it. She’s been in remission for a while now and is back to her old self. Except, she puts a lot more time into making sure we all get together. My parents, Emery, and myself. Now our significant others too. Meaning every holiday, birthday—hell once a damn week, we get together for at least dinner. But we all need this. Need to grow together and be the family we were always destined to be.
She’s also found a fondness for taking pictures. That shit I do not like. Cameras in my face every second pisses me off, and it gets harder and harder to let her do her thing. I get it. She came close to death and now wants to remember everything. It’s just not something I like.
“How’s my boys?” Her smile radiates in the room. This woman has been through so much in her life: leaving Sumner, losing a child, losing me, cancer. It’s time for her to stop feeling any kind of pain.
“Good.” I step forward and wrap my arms around her, engulfing her tiny body. That’s another thing, hugs. My mom, Angel, is a hugger.
Stepping apart, she moves between me and my father. “Can you believe two weddings?” she says excitedly, bouncing on the balls of her feet. “I mean, one we knew of, but then this surprise. This is so exciting!”
Both my father and I look down at the same time, smiling at my mom. She grasps my father’s hand and begins to pull him.
“Fuck no, woman,” he growls.
Mom stomps her foot. “GT, get your ass out here and dance with me.”
“I don’t fuckin’ dance.”
She tugs on his arm. “Yes, you do!”
He shakes his head and moves out to the dance floor as a slow song begins playing, and my father wraps himself around her. He loves her with everything inside of him, and I love that for them. Love watching them together, and I want that for Rylie and me.
Regardless of the right or wrongs between my father and me, he taught me what it was to be a man who loves his woman.
My girl stands over by the bar, and I make my way to her with my brow raised, looking at her glass of brown liquid.
Her lip turns up as she holds the glass. “Diet.”r />
I smile, wrapping her up in my arms. “Let’s go for a walk.”
She nods, and we head out.
Rylie gets me in a way no one has before. She is it for me, my better half if you need a label.
This is my life, our life, and it is damn good.
Chapter Eight
Rylie
The sand caresses my feet with each step, while the sun sets in the background and the waves crash to the shore. It’s a beautiful night for a walk and even better with the man holding my hand.
My man.
What it’s not good for is a swim. I have a bit of aversion to bodies of water, but guess that happens when you drown in one and have to be shocked back to life twice. Not being here with Deke, that’s a feeling I have to push away because it almost came true.
Especially now. God, especially now.
I’m a tough bitch. I know it and don’t hide it. I still work in the gym with Charlie and at X with Princess, Blaze, and Angel. It’s a great place to work, but now Deke wants me to quit; except I don’t want to. I get why he does, and maybe down the road I will. One can’t tell the future.
It’s a sore subject, and I refuse to bring it up on this happy occasion.
The beach is pretty scarce, which I’m shocked about considering the amount of people that are here during the day. But I like the quiet.
Deke stops and pulls me into his arms. Looking up at him, he’s the most gorgeous man I’ve ever seen. Never thought I’d love a man this much. Hell, never thought it was in the cards for me. But fuck I’m happy we’re here—together.
“Love you, babe.”
A smile graces my face. “That’s good because you’re stuck with me.”
His lip tips at the corner. “Damn straight.”
He leans down and kisses me hard, deep, and wet. Even though this is one of a million kisses he’s given me, it’s just like the first, setting my world on fire. I’m wet, hot, and ready for him. Hell, I can’t seem to keep my hands off of him.
While that was true before, now it’s like fucking crack. My libido is all over the damn place, always craving him, wanting him.
“All it takes is a kiss.”
Cocky bastard.
“You did it.”
“Fuck yeah I did.”
Hope he thinks that way when I’m big as a fucking house and can’t get up off the couch. Truthfully, when I look down at my toned stomach—thank you tons of gym time—I can’t see how a baby is going to fit in there. Where is it going to grow? It can’t go down, so it has to go out. Am I going to see my toes?
The biggest question is, can I handle this, and not just the carrying the baby part. The mom part in general. I’ve never changed a diaper before. Never given a baby a bottle. Never burped one, and judging from the YouTube videos, it comes back up.
More than that, Deke and I will go from two to three. Unfortunately, these thoughts keep running through my head. What if I drop the baby? What if I can’t give it a bath? Will he still find me sexy? Will we have time together? Is not being married before the baby comes wrong? Do I really give a fuck? About the marriage part, fuck no.
I’m a nervous fucking wreck, and it’s why I’m taking classes coming up and doing some online shit to learn how to take care of an infant. I may be a shit mom now, but when that baby comes into this world, I won’t be. No, I refuse to be. He or she will have someone who knows what she’s doing.
“You sure you want to tell everyone at brunch? I mean, Leah and Green had their wedding tonight. Bristyl and Coop are getting married tomorrow, and brunch is the day after. Don’t you think it’s too much?”
“Fuck no,” he answers immediately, and I knew he would. Deke has been beside himself wanting to tell every-freaking-body, but somehow—okay through sex—I talked him into not saying anything and keeping it secret. It wasn’t that I didn’t want the others to know, I just wanted a little bit of time to hold it close to us. Sounds strange, but it is what it is.
Then we made a deal. Three months because by then I’d start showing or, at least, I thought I’d be showing more. But now all of this excitement, it’s not that I want my own thunder, far from it. This trip just isn’t about us. He wants to do it at brunch. Knowing my man, though, he will not change his mind.
“Babe, we’re tellin’ ‘em. I’m not waitin’.”
“Okay, babe. Love you.”
“You’re gonna be a fuckin’ great mom. Thank you for giving this to me. Love you,” he says, melting my heart, and the worries fade away in the background. He lifts me up and carries me to a nearby lounge chair. It has a cabana, and we’re practically hidden.
This is good, because my man always loves to celebrate.
Chapter Nine
Nox
The bed dips as I roll into Carsyn, kissing her arm up to her neck and ear. “Mornin’,” I whisper there softly as she shifts. Her beautiful eyes look up at me. I swear, sometimes I think they’re filled with surprise that I’m here with her. Like she’s going to wake up from a dream, and we won’t be real.
That shit isn’t happening.
Fucking love this woman. She’s so fucking strong, and she’s only now beginning to see it in herself. It’s taking a long ass time, but it’s to be expected. She had a shit life, but now she has the best I can fucking give her.
“Morning.”
I lean down and take her lips. She pulls away and slaps my shoulder playfully. “Let me brush my teeth.”
“Seriously?”
She smiles, and I take her lips once more. She tastes as sweet as she did the first time we kissed, but now it’s free. Yes, free. I can actually feel the difference. Her past had chains, and I refuse to let them come back to haunt her. Ever. I made fucking sure of it. All of it.
Now, we live life free.
We shower, and it takes a while considering I have to fuck her.
Carsyn is slipping on a light pink dress that covers her body perfectly, and I harden once again. Too bad we don’t have time for round two.
I open my bag and pull it out, the smell hitting me first. Fucking love the smell of leather.
Holding it up, I turn around and walk up to her. She’s staring in the mirror, fussing with her hair. But I catch it. The moment she sees it. Her eyes widen, and she bites her bottom lip.
I step closer, feeling her excitement and disbelief in the air. “Want you in my leather, Carsyn.”
Tears fall from her eyes as she turns around, jumps up and wraps her legs around my hips, then attacks my mouth.
Let’s just say I’m late, and I can’t take this as far as I want to.
With a swift kiss, I’m out the door, leaving her there and heading down to my brother. Today Cooper’s getting hitched, and I can’t be more excited for him.
Knocking on his door, I wait. And wait. I knock again. “Fucking hell!” Coop yells from the other side of the door that he flings open. “What the fuck do you want?”
“Wedding. About an hour. Ring any bells.” I peer around him. “Hey, Bristyl. Thought you weren’t supposed to see each other or some shit.”
Bristyl chuckles, fully clothed and holding her flip flops in her hand. “Now I have to go do my hair again.”
She stands on her tiptoes, and my brother doesn’t hesitate to take her mouth. She pulls back, love shining in her eyes. “See you out there.”
“You bet your ass.” To make his point, he smacks her ass as she takes off down the hall.
“Already fuckin’ shit up I see,” I tease, walking into the room. It’s a suite with a full kitchen and living room. It’s nice, not that they’re in it other than fucking and sleeping.
“Shut it.” He smiles and moves over to the luggage. “I prefer doing shit my way, not by anyone else’s standards and expectations.” He smirks.
“Really gonna do this, huh?”
He pins me with a look. “If Carsyn was out there waiting for you, wouldn’t you be?”
It hits me then. I love her, yes. But it’s at that mome
nt that I see it. The wedding. The future. The one that I’m going to give her no matter what.
“Yeah,” I don’t hesitate.
“Yeah,” he says, turning back to the bag.
“Now let’s get your ass married. Bout time someone bound you to them.”
Fuck yeah.
I definitely see this in my future.
Chapter Ten
Cooper
Fuck yes, I’m ready to do this. Been ready since I put the ring on her finger. Hell, before that. Walking out to the beach, the boats are lined up ready to take us out to Shell Island. That’s where the wedding will take place, and then we’ll come back here for the party.
Shell Island isn’t far from St. Pete beach, only a short boat ride, but it’s pretty secluded. Tourists only go there on tour rides, and I paid for the entire day so the boat drivers would still make the money and not bring people to the island.
My brothers greet me as I enter the boat and wait.
It’s only a few moments later that I see her. Bristyl. Beautiful in a short white strapless dress and a bunch of lilies in her hand. Her hair is beautiful, but truth be told, I like her just fucked hair better.
My world focuses just on this moment. This woman walking toward me. The love that shines in her eyes and I’m sure is reflected on my own.
I hop down from the boat, moving directly to my woman. Her smile is wide and not one ounce of fear in her. Fucking love that she’s giving me that. Complete and utter trust for the rest of our days.
“You’re beautiful.”
“You’re hot,” she says, rolling up on her toes and pressing her lips to mine.
Noise happens in the background, but I tune it out. That is until a hand clamps on my shoulder, pissing me off. When I look up it’s my father, who’s smiling wide. “Son, you’re supposed to do that after the ‘I do’s.’
“Right.” Not giving a shit, I take Bristyl’s mouth again, breaking a while later.
