“We need to make this quick,” the faceless figure said. “I can’t hold the secure line for long.”

“I know,” the other faceless figure answered. “We received your report. Good job.”

  “What now?”

Both figures stood in the nowhere. A seemingly endless white. A secure line deeply embedded in the Dark Net. It wasn’t only their body shapes and faces that were unrecognizable but also their voices.

  “We wait.”

There was slight irritation in the coded voice. “How much longer?”

“We need to wait for the right moment to bring them down. All of them. All of it. You know that. You are exactly where we need you to be. Inside Helltek.”

  “I understand.”

“Keep an eye on the new guy. Make sure he trusts you.”

“Copy that. He already does. Easy game.”

“Very good. He will be a valuable asset.”

  “I need to go.”

“We will reshape the world. Always remember that.”

  – Level Two

  Dear Reader,

Thank you so much for reading my book! It means the world to me.

I hope you enjoyed Kai’s adventures and initiation into the Cyber Squad. He will soon learn that he’s seen nothing yet. After all, this was only Level One!

And there’s some scary shit out there on the Net…

Before you leave, can I ask you for a favor?

If you enjoyed Cyber Squad, please consider leaving a review on Amazon and/or Goodreads!

Reviews are essential for indie authors. Without reviews, we can’t compete with traditionally published authors, no matter how hard we try.

It’ll only take a minute of your time but will help me very much.

Don’t like writing reviews? No problem, please consider rating the book instead.

At the end of the Kindle version, Amazon will give you the option to rate this book. If you liked it, please do so. It’s only one click for you, and I’ll know that I made a reader happy!

Cyber Squad – Level 1 is only the beginning of Kai’s adventure! The sequel, Cyber Squad – Level 2, is in the making and is coming soon!

Did you like Behind Blue Eyes, the shooter Kai and his friends are testing and competing in? It’s based on my cyberpunk series published under my other author name. If you like my writing style and would like to read something different, then make sure to check it out.

It’s darker and more violent than Cyber Squad and even more action-driven. Oh, and it has badass killer-cyborgs, one of whom is Nephilim, who appears as an NPC in the game in Cyber Squad.

You can find Behind Blue Eyes here:

  Amazon US: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B089ZY18SB

  Worldwide: https://books2read.com/u/mBZ9nZ

It’s also available as an audiobook!

  Description:

In a future world ruled by warring mega-corporations, cyborg Nephilim believed she was fighting a righteous cause.

As a powerful, genetically and cybernetically enhanced elite soldier her brutal and violent life is not truly her own – until one day, a simple glitch separates her from the grid.

For the first time in her life, she is free…and she has doubts. Doubts that bury deeper into her psyche when she meets Jake, a mysterious, 100% bio-human.

He opens her neon-blue eyes to the lies she had been exposed to all her life. Questioning everything she has ever known, Nephilim resolves to take a stand. To hold on to this freedom, she has miraculously discovered. But can one person, no matter how strong, beat an all-powerful system of oppression? Soon, Nephilim finds herself hunted by her own people in a deadly game of survival…

For fans of Blade Runner, Ghost in the Shell and Altered Carbon!
