The Perfect Liar was my first thriller and it was a joy to write. The beautiful location was inspired by several trips to Italy over the years, but I wanted to take that Italian dream and turn it into a nightmare, by adding someone dark and mysterious into the mix. We women are – for the most part – loyal and trusting, and our friendships endure, so it intrigued me to create a world where a young man could burst into a close-knit group and create total havoc. I hope you found yourself rooting for Susanne, Dale and Evie, anxious to know what could possibly happen to them next. I also hope that the blue skies of Tuscany provided a temporary escape from life’s mundanities – if only for a little while.

If you loved The Perfect Liar, I would be most grateful if you could write a review. I’d love to hear what you think, and it makes such a difference helping new readers to discover one of my books for the first time.

I love hearing from my readers – you can get in touch on my Facebook page, through Twitter, Goodreads or my website.

  Thanks,

With sincere gratitude to all at Team Bookouture – thank you for choosing my novel. Special thanks to my editor, Therese, for shining up my ruby in the dust; to the tireless efforts of Kim and Noelle for letting readers know it exists; and thank you to Peta for helping bed in an initially confused author. You’re all fab and ridiculously hard-working.

Love and thanks, too, to my wonderful partner Mark – who sees only the good in every situation – and to my family for their encouragement (wish our parents could have read and enjoyed this book).
