“It could be a reason.” Mugen agreed. He then shook his head and finished his food and noticed something written on the screen. “That reads call to Mexico, 12:20 PM.”
“That’s us.” Leila turned around and looked at the board and nodded, getting up. “Come on, that’s our flight. It’s going to take us 4 and a half hours but we’ll be there and back again in no time! If it all works out, we’re going to Italy!”
Mugen looked at her, smiling slightly at her sight. He didn’t have any clue what drove him to take her along with him actually, he just wished that he wouldn’t be alone, and something in his body reacted about her. He had read that Humans were beings that focused on the emotional side of things as much as they focused on the non-emotional side of things. They focused on everything, from the love they held in their hearts, to the hatred for that they didn’t understand the fear that they couldn’t control. He didn’t know what drove them to actually believe in these ‘emotions’, he only knew that emotions for his race weren’t a thing taken into consideration, but he’d rather not tell her that. Something in his mind screamed at him to not tell her about what his race thought of emotions, especially love.
Similarly, Leila was curious as she took a glance at the strange, yet attractive, Alien turned Human. His blue hair gained the attraction of everyone around them and he really didn’t seem he was minding the attention. In fact, he seemed as if he was enjoying it. Then she realized that he wasn’t enjoying the attention of the people, rather looking into their minds. Leila sighed and wondered how many secrets would he have known by now. Not wanting to get into that particular mess again, Leila sighed and led him inside of the room plane, Mugen having taken to staring all around once again.
“Leila?” Mugen asked, looking at the seats. “What am I supposed to do with those straps?”
“It’s called a belt, you need to wear it,” Leila explained, ushering him to sit down. She instructed him how to wear the straps around his hip and how to sit down comfortably in the upcoming 5-hour flight to Mexico City. When the flight truly started to take off, it was an experience that Mugen found himself liking. It was familiar, very familiar, as he had done it so himself so many numbers of times. He really liked flying, Mugen would admit it. By the end of the flight, Mugen had a big, wide smile on his face and Leila was chuckling at him, following behind.
“I take it you enjoyed that,” Leila said as a matter of fact. Mugen nodded, looking around curiously at the new city they were in. “Well come on, Hotshot, where’s your part?”
“Hmm.....” Mugen closed his eyes and thought for it, reaching into the deep recesses of his mind to find the location that he needed to find. Then he opened his eyes and grinned. “It’s right there! Come on!”
Instead of going towards the city, he walked back towards the airport. Leila followed, panicking.
“Wait, Mugen, you can’t just go in like that!” She whispered/shouted. He ignored her and walked towards the doors that seemed to be for staff only and entered without any permission needed. No one seemed to have noticed him, as he just walked down the airport and inside of the staff lounges, away from all the main hall, towards where he knew the ‘part’ was. “We’re not supposed to be here!”
Leila was whispering, staying as close as she could to him. Mugen ignored her once again, and instead looked towards the side to see what he wanted. There, sitting on top of a table, was an innocent looking electrical object. It wasn’t small, neither was it big, it was just the size it needed to be and there was no one in the room, so Mugen walked and picked the object up.
“A Cross transformer. It will stabilize my ship during high-speed travel.” Mugen explained, keeping the item in his bag. Just as they were about to leave, a staff member walked in.
“Hey! You’re not supposed to be in here.” Before Leila could plead for him to not go and tell anyone, Mugen raised his hand and pointed it towards the staff member. The man instantly looked as if there was something he didn’t need to know inside of his brain and discarded the thought. Instead, he nodded, turned around, and made a ‘follow me’ sign. Leila looked at Mugen, who shook his head and the 2 of them followed his lead instead. Through a series of turns here and there, they found themselves back outside and the staff member walked in, leaving them alone once again. Finally, Mugen grinned.
“Is that how you did it in the, you know, Embassies?” Leila asked, a headache pouring through her brain. Mugen sniggered and shrugged. He wasn’t going to reveal any of that, no way. Instead, he looked at her curiously, waiting for her to say where they were going next. “Well, we need to get to a hotel, and then we can decide on where to go next.”
Not knowing what a ‘hotel’ was, Mugen just shrugged and followed wherever Leila was going like a lost puppy, wondering what they were going to end up doing next. He was slowly starting to enjoy this trip like he truly loved it, and wondered how long it would have taken him if he was doing this alone, without anyone to help him out.
And it did have a greater impact on him than the Alien thought it did.

In the following 3 weeks that followed after their ‘excursion’ in Mexico City, Mugen had literally forgotten that he wasn’t human. He had seen so many things, experienced so many things and went through so many things amongst the Human society he refused to believe that he was no longer a part of the human society. He had learned all he could about the humans, their mannerisms, their behavior, their love for each other and the amount of time they seemed to spend roaming around people in circles before finally coming to a point.
In the 3 weeks that had followed after Mexico City, they had left the next day, via Airplane again, directly to Italy. Thinking about leaving the one in Chile as the literal last one they would get, they went to Europe and Italy, following Mexico. Once in Italy, they had to go on another short trip from Rome in Italy, all the way to somewhere 20 miles up north, in the wild woods. This time it wasn’t inside of an airport or something like that.
The part they needed was actually an entire jet engine, a small one, but big enough for them to be suspicious if they carried something as big as a human around with them. Then once again Mugen had shown his extra-terrestrial skills by vanishing the object and sending it to parts unknown. His explanation was simple. It was where it belonged, near his own ship. Shaking her head, Leila had only put her hands on her hips and glared at him until he broke and spilled his beans to her. He had sent it into another dimension, suspended between spaces where no one could access it. She didn't’ know how he could do that, and neither did she care. One of the questions that did pop up was-
“Why can’t you teleport?” She asked him. They were in New Zealand at the time, the parts of Kazakhstan and Indonesia having been retrieved without a hitch. In fact, the part in New Zealand seemed to be a bit too easy for them to get. The one in Kazakhstan seemed to be hidden away deep in the desert, but it had taken them no less than 2 days to find it. Sure, they had to travel through the heat and the desert to get to the place where they got the battery box out of all things. Then from there, they had gone to Indonesia, where in Jakarta, they had found their most difficult object to find yet. It was an orb of sorts, a power orb, which laid inside of a royal palace, with a lot of security, a lot. It had taken Mugen an entire day to use his tricks for them to leave him alone with the defenses the Orb had left around itself for him to get his hands on the Orb and according to the Alien, the Orb was the most dangerous and most important one. That left New Zealand, Antarctica, and Chile.
The one in New Zealand was in the middle of the sea right out of Wilmington, on an island. What had popped up, though, was that he couldn’t swim. He didn’t know how to swim and he hated the water. Chuckling at his disturbance at the thought of going to swim, she had been the one to do the task, and she had done it. The only thing was, the Island could have been considered a part of Australia.
She remembered it correctly, what all she had to go through. The outside of the island looked amazing, but the
inside was a strangely deserted rock mine of sorts that did leave an impression that it didn’t belong on this planet, especially about the creatures on the island and that was what was making her shudder as she walked towards where she had been told the power connector rod was.
Out of all the places in New Zealand, it could be in it had to be on the Island which held all the dangers in New Zealand combined, didn’t it? It wasn’t only the heat that mattered, but the things that she had to take care off were the dangerous snakes that would try to bite her, the plants and most of all the animals that would want to kill him. Already she had to fend herself from a pack of monkeys, of all things and had to avoid an Inland Taipan snake. Filthy snakes always made her shudder in fear. All of them so dangerous that they would kill her in a single bite! For once she wished they had just gotten a boat and took the Alien along with her. She shivered at the thought of Mugen getting into trouble without her.
And all that danger, coupled with the blazing heat was getting to her nerves, badly, very, very badly. All she wanted to do was simply get a nice, cold drink of water but around here, the only source of water she could find was her canteen. That and according to the books she’d read about the heat, drinking all the water in one go was a stupid and foolish idea, incredibly foolish.
Her attire of choice, though, brought a smile to her face. In the 2 weeks, she had been with Mugen, she knew for a fact that she’d gotten attracted to him much more than a simple friend. She trusted him with her life, she looked dup to him to be brave enough to be in a world of humans without knowing a single thing about them and she couldn’t help but wonder how life would be without him. She remembered his face, his cute little face and his eyes widening as for the first time he probably felt what most men felt whenever they saw a beautiful woman in so little clothes. She had chosen to wear a floral print Green and Yellow Bikini, showing much of her cleavage and body, and it had completely and utterly destroyed his face. His face had gotten so red and so stutter, she almost had to remember that he was an Alien. Then came the conversation about why was she wearing that, and explaining to her what the difference between a man and a woman was. That wasn’t the best conversation she’d ever had.
“You’re close.” Having bought 2 mobile phones, once again Mugen using his magic to give them all access, she was connected to him via a call, and he was guiding her. Mugen was on the beach, waiting for her to return with the portal rod. “It’s a Sparking Rod, mind you. And you need to watch out, right about now.”
Leila replied in the affirmative and walked back towards where she could see the strange rocks were. The entire ground seemed as if swords were sticking out of the ground. Large rocks so sharp that they would easily skewer a person if they landed on them. But she wasn’t going to land on these rocks, no way in hell. She was going towards the only ‘rock’ she could see that had a glint to it like metal did. Walked quickly towards the rod and worked on removing it out of the ground. It wasn’t easy, once again, and she had to be careful but she finally got the portal rod. Sorry, Mugen, Sparking Rod.
Following getting the Rod, she had gotten back on the Jet-Ski, and went all the way back to the beach. Mugen was waiting for her, and she watched as for the first time she could see his bare upper body. He was pale, with a touch of creaminess in his skin, but he was a very beautiful and amazing fellow, with the perfect blue hair and perfect blue eyes. He didn’t have all that muscle but she knew the sheer power inside of those arms.
“Good, you got it!” The way his eyes brightened lightened up her heart, but at the same time, it reminded her of the fact he was going to be gone too soon for comfort. She found herself wondering, what her life would be like when he was gone. Back to her alone, lonely life, going to the beach every day for duty. At least now he had given her more than enough changes in her house that she could live slightly more comfortably. She found herself wondering if she would look up in the sky, searching for a moving UFO and if he would come back one day to greet her. She actually found herself much more missing him then a normal friend should be missing her and in that feeling, she had forgotten that Mugen could feel her feelings, and looked at her weirdly. They matched his.....
So here they were, back in the real world, sitting on the table in the balcony of their hotel room. With the money that Mugen could create, she decided to give him some fun of human life and had booked a nice, big room for them in a beach resort, and they were sitting in the balcony to enjoy their dinner when she had asked the question. Mugen looked at her, surprised she’d ask that, but then chuckled.
“I was wondering when you’d ask me that. Yes, teleportation is completely possible.” Mugen nodded. “But teleportation is no easy task. No, teleportation involves the separation of the mind, the body, the bones and the very soul of one person and transporting it to a place far, far away from where their physical self is. It is something akin to Sexual Intercourse.”
At that, Leila had choked, looking at Mugen as if he had gone crazy. Was teleportation akin to sexual intercourse? And as if he had sensed his thoughts, oh wait, he did!
“I mean whenever 2 humans, or any beings, have sex or reproduce, it is not only their DNA that meets but also their soul. It’s a very less known fact, but I am sure that one-day humanity will find the truth about why Sex is done for pleasure.” Mugen said, sorting. At her look, he sighed. “Yes, my race also has sex, but there are..... certain rituals involved. I myself though am now debarred because I have taken the form of a ‘lesser being’. I once had a gaseous state myself, but I found myself wondering why the tall grey humanoids were like they were, so I had taken their form. When I found you, I took the form of a human, so I can’t just go back home.”
“That’s sad.” It sounded like those old nobles. So sad, debarring a person from their own home. For some reason, it increased her hopes that he’d remain along with her. “But.... it doesn’t answer my question.”
“During sexual intercourse, the soul of a body is separated and mixes with the soul of the other body, of the partner. It is a very less known fact but whenever 2 beings have sex, they are forever connected by the souls, that is why whenever 2 beings who have sex break up, it hurts much more than it should. Similarly, whenever you teleport, the first thing that leaves your body is your soul, for a very split second, connected with one of those strings that instantly snap back onto place. You following me until now?” Now much more used to the human language, Leila nodded. He didn’t use big large words anymore. “So, whenever the soul moves, the body follows and in less than a second you’ve teleported. The thing is, that string has a limit. Pull too hard, you’re dead. Push too hard, you’re dead. Try too hard, you’re dead. That is why we don’t teleport. There is only 1 race in this whole entire world that can do that, and those are the mythical creatures called Phoenixes. Originated from your very planet, they’ve not been seen for a couple millennia.”
“Wow,” Leila muttered, looking at him in a new light. “Can I ask you a question? How old are you exactly?”
“Old huh? In my planet, we don’t count age as from when we come into existence. Rather how many cycles we’ve lived in service. I was an inventor, a technologist in my world, making ships and maps. In your world, I’ll be called an explorer, a cartographer, a geographer and an engineer into one. I’ll simply say I made and drew things, and I had been doing it for over 300 cycles.” Mugen replied, closing his eyes. “So by my calculations.... I should be around..... 48 to 50 human years old at max. One cycle in my world is around 2 months on earth. But I’ll live for far longer then you think.”
“Yeah, if you look like that when you’re 50 I can see.” She chuckled. “Well, I hope your life is great, then.”
At her smile, Mugen knew that he was feeling something. For the past 3 days, he had been getting the feeling that he wanted to kiss her, that he wanted to see what her reaction would be this time and if she would return the kiss, that she would actually agree to kiss her and not call the police, or try to, once
again. He gulped down those feelings and focused on the food. Once they went inside, surprisingly there was Jazz music going on. Out of all things then, Leila had a bright idea.
“Let’s dance!” Leila suggested brightly. She wasn’t drinking, but she definitely seemed to be too jolly for herself. Not knowing what to do, I simply followed her lead. She was wearing a nice pair of shirt and jeans, and she seemed to make heads turn towards her wherever she went, much to his hidden ire. So he agreed and placed his hands on her hips, and moved along with her movements, both of them staring into each other’s eyes.
For a split second, he caught the urging she had in her eyes, sending a desperate message to him after almost 30 full minutes of dancing and Mugen caught on right at the end of the song. This time, she didn’t freeze, nor hesitate at the feel of his lips on hers and instead buried her body further into his, pulling herself as close to his body as she could bring herself to. Their lips parted as his arms started to weave around her body, up and down her back, up and down her chin and the underside of her jaw. He could feel her sweet taste again on his lips and remembered what she tasted like all that time ago when he first kissed her. Those 2 weeks felt like a lifetime ago as finally I poured all my feelings to her.
He let his fingertips follow the underside of her jaw and then dragged them lightly up and down her neck. Her skin was pale and soft. He flattened to his hand and curled it behind her neck and felt how the hairs came out of the base of her neck. He gently massaged the two row of muscles on either side of her backbone. As he brushed my lips against hers, and she lifted her chin and pressed her mouth against his more firmly and desperately than before, he felt himself lose the feeling of lust. She pushed her tongue into his mouth and gently felt his teeth. In return, Mugen softly probed her tongue with his tongue. They held our mouths together, gently breathing, sharing the same breath, whispering the word "oh" as their arousal built. He could feel his ‘erection’ straining and about to burst as pre-cum was leaking into his boxers. Today was different than other days. Leila was feeling more excited than before, they both had no pressing things to work on, the whole evening was it open and ours as the next part was far, far away from where they currently were. They had no company of friends, and the only thing that was not moving slowly was their hearts and the blood racing to their midsections. Softly, Leila pushed him behind and let his legs carry him to the edge of the bed, their lips still attached. When he fell down on the bed, sitting on it, he looked up, his eyes filled with desire and glowing and she gave a sultry smile. Then she sat on top of his legs. Leila leaned back more so that she was lying on his lap, her head resting on my leg.
