"Very well,…" She exclaimed with a malefic smile and a desire to screw Tibor over the cross of the law. "… Mr. Tibor…"

"Yes, your honor…" Tibor's voice was not the same. His father knew it well over the course of the year with the gravity it exploited, exploding the house when he was telling in every corner of the house when he was partying. Tibor could barely respond the judge.

"You are hereby sentence for Voluntary Property Damage and Public Property Damage. How do you want to receive your sentence, by bail or by Community Service?" Wilson sure did not expect this, but nothing could have saved Tibor in this mess on this day.

"By bail, your honor…" Tibor rushed to articulate through his teeth. Judge Max had her eyes on the papers before Tibor answered, but when he replied bail. She moved her eyes to the tiniest corner of her eyebrows to seek a piece of regret, but she did not find any.

"Bail…" She squeezed her lips toward the front. "Alright, but you are hereby paying $7 thousand dollars of bail, Doing six month of Community service, and attending three times a week Anger Management Therapy." She clocked the hammer over the flat wood and the room grounded from the echoing sound while everyone fell into silence at the exact moment. "One more thing, Mr. Tibor…" Tibor froze the minute Max quoted his name and paid attention. "…Next time you come to my Court again…There won't be any bail or Community Service. Remember that…Court Adjourned" The room emptied itself when everyone left after their own case or the fair judgment of Judge Max. Tibor did not know, but as usually, he bet on his father to pay the bail money. Of course, Mr. Wilson complied with his son demand with a few conditions of his own. Definitely, not Tibor day to be in front of a Court, in the presence of a father with a serious agenda, and a Law system ready to make a man out of him yet.

"This is the last score.” Wilson went back and forth. “I am done. This time I am through with him, Jeanette." Wilson, one day before Tibor trial was pointing the obvious to his faithful wife who was the mother of Tibor and a bit tolerant of his son peculiar activity. Wilson was spreading his errors of letting his son into the world of the pleasure of any kind. Jeanette had never undermined his decisions to trust their son with the pleasure of the World. Yet, besides the lies, the useless wasting of money, and the damages, she believed her husband was doing the right thing and she played her part in closing her eyes over her son. Of course, like all mother, she did not fail in reminding him that life did not produce only pleasure for his benefits.

"Wilson, please..." Jeanette unfolded her legs after swiping her hands from them to stand and join his husband before she tried to calm him once more like the previous times. "You say this every time and every time you let him slip from his responsibility." Jeannette reminded him again while posing her hand over his square shoulder. Wilson was a middle-aged man but with a Hercules body and the handsome face of Poseidon. He had a Hade's air but with an Aphrodite sensibility. He had been married for 25 years with his wife Jeannette who was an American Asian. They had never known the words of disagreement in their vocabulary. He managed to keep her happy all these years and she did the same. Although the controlling temper Wilson conquered in his youth did not bother him any more than he wanted. Jeanette sure had received plenty of bad memories at the other end of such temper. It was a small price to pay when her husband spoiled her like a young girl with her daddy and capable of doing the things her own way. She was the boss when her husband lost control. Fortunately, Wilson loved her enough not to lift up one hand over his wife body or visage.

"Then Jeannette, hear my voice. This is the last time." The conversation came to an end that day when Wilson walked away after kissing his wife and leaving her mute, unaware if Wilson would be able to manage Tibor this time or will he let him slip again. Even she was willing to know the truth, Wilson expression was numb and hers did not let much confidence for her husband to agree of his plan. A bit confused since she had no clue what the scheduling plan might be.

"What is the verdict?" Jeannette questioned Tibor the minute he posted his shining black shoes at the border of the door and Wilson followed. Tibor did not add a word and Wilson only surrounded his wife with his block of an arm and kissed her at the top of her forehead. Tibor was wearing his favorite Navy blue costume while his father had always worked and attended everything with one of his favorite color, Pebble. Clothes brand was not a problem for them and a good tissue, they did not require to buy them from Clavin Klein.

"Do not worry honey, everything is fine and perfect."

"What do you mean Wilson?" Jeannette packed her two hands over her husband chest and pointed her blue eyes into his. "Wilson, what did you do? Please tell me, is Tibor going to be alright?" Begging was not in the pact or in the vow he swore to his wife even though she did not intend to go that low to have a reply from her husband. Nevertheless, it felt like it and Wilson was far from being a pride man to see his wife did such negative act. He grabbed his wife sensible hands and kissed them. Wilson might seem a bit hardcore, but he was a big softy from the inside, especially with his wife.

"I think our boy is grown enough to talk to you like a man." Wilson deduced in a quick sentence. "He should be able to inform you of his decisions and his new responsibilities. Because, from now on, he is in charge of his life and I have better things to take care of my dear. You two have a good day." His wife put the last touch to his compatible Pebble suit and the mixing tie before he disappeared behind the stylish wooden door in the house. Each door was unique and the wooden paint consisted of a special décor Jeanette inspected particularly.

Jeannette, Tibor’s mother took his son and they went to the patio, for him to resume the precedent that happened at the Court. Tibor complained to his mother of his father injustice and the maximum sentence Judge Max applied to his case, even with simple Community Service and Therapy. It would not end there. In order for his father to pay his bail, he had to agree to certain conditions and they were not in his best interests. Of course, he quoted them to his mother before he sipped down a whole glass of red wine. Wilson was not an American or England and he did not intend to abandon his culture as well as his faith. The wine was the only alcohol beverage the house could use and Tibor was a fine drinker of it.

"Did you accept the conditions?" Jeannette did not say a word until his son took his time to get down the empty glass and dropped it on the simple round table they were standing around and contemplating the beauty of their fine castle. Tibor froze before he could understand the question, but it was simple.

"What?" Tibor repeated to his mother.

"Did you accept the conditions?" Jeannette this time took her sense to repeat the words with a few seconds of the count. Tibor could only nod with his head for an answer at his mother who could not stop looking at him. She could not remember how Tibor grew so fast, and in that current state of destruction, she could hardly see her baby son anymore. Tibor was a man even if he had not realized it himself.

  "Yeah…I agreed…"

"Then, you should comply with the conditions." Hearing these words from her simple lips was a surprise, but she was relieved when she looked upon Tibor half-opened mouth and his widening eyes and not to forget the flat neutral expression Jeannette words provoked in his fade face. He could not even manage one word of positive reply.

  "What? Really, mother?"

"Yes, if you did not accept, you could have gone to prison and…"

"Mother, there was no way I would take prison, no way." Tibor interrupted her mother advice before she could finish.

"Then, comply with the conditions and fulfill them to your father, to you…it might be more useful than you think." Jeanette tried to convince him.

"Mother, father owes me and so are you. Why should I respect these conditions? I am your son…can you give me a pass like the last times?"

"Nope, your father is right. You are no more a child than a teen in high school. You are an adult. It is time you become responsible for your actions, starting with these last ones. And they a
re going to be your last ones, right?" Jeanette insisted this time taking the role of a mother who desired to inculcate the proper norms to her son. One mistake she should had dealt from the moment she noticed the breaking point of his son in the wrong direction. It was there, every day, in front of her and she was waiting for his husband to apply the right method.

"…but Mom, how? I have no clue what to do?" Tibor kneeled at her feet and dropped his head on his legs.

Jeannette grabbed his head in each side with her hand, put him straight up, placed his eyes in hers, and mumbled her purple lips to him, "The same way you be yourself in these messes in the first place. You do the opposite in this case." These words of wisdom were enough to convince Tibor and he nodded once more while her mother smiled at great length to show him how proud she could be of him if he did the right thing.

  Chapter 2

  “Asia, what? Are you serious?”

Tibor eyes and mouth were ready to fall off their unique feature of his long face. Hearing the words from his father lips, and her mother who did not have any more option to plead with him. Tibor knew more than hell was coming in his possible direction and he was not ready for it. Well, he had not been ready since his mother gave him birth. There was nothing special about his, even less comment on how he neglected to cry, letting everyone guess he was dead at first sight of his first day on Earth. Wilson was not just another strong man who could not cry or did not give himself the luxury of crying. He was a man with Will and power to manage his emotions beyond its limits. When Tibor did not cry at his first time, Wilson did not bother doubting his wife of her alleged disappointment in losing their son, he just kept kissing her and holding her hand until the doctor figured the tiny problem with Tibor. He just did not cry at his first time. He did not feel like crying, but he was breathing according to the normal function of his human physiology.

A family trait which Tibor picked up from his father, but that was all he decided to take upon himself. Wilson was a hardworking maniac, a deniable pleasure freak unless it was a question of his wife, and a good coordinator of his time. He did not lose anything in anything. Tibor, his son was so far from the man his father had been, was, and would be. As far as it went from his birth to his 16 years old age, he had been a nice, obedient, and proud son, and child. His mother did everything to teach him a woman was not a game and his father wanted his youth not to fill with bad memories of his strict authority. A lesson he had to endure from his own father. True, he turned him into a formidable man, but Wilson would have loved to hear once in his lifetime. "Come on, we are going to the beach to relax…" He did not want to deny his own son the beauty of his youth in being an adult before his age. However, now was the time and Tibor could not talk or could not fight his way out of the conditions he accepted from home to father when he borrowed from him the money to pay his own bail.

“Yes, a veteran worker has been with us for half a century. We decided to give him his retirement and he is going to enjoy the rest of his life with his family. He invested with us his money and we will continue to bring him his profit, but he wants to pass his place to a new member.”

Tibor for an instant dreamed of being the new member who was going to take the retired employer place. Although he did not have anything from his father, he knew fair and right and he without an effort dropped his guard knowing his father would not grace him with such delicate post.

“You are going to replace this new member at his previous station. From there, you can begin your familial training and show me what you got in your blood beside breaking things.”

He could see it. His father had finally in all his time stating he was going to let him be a man, this time was it. He was not going to play or to speak in the empty air and asked vain promises. He did not do any of those. He just acted and Tibor for once did not feel he was looking at his father but to the Company CEO of Grandvue who was employing him for a fair exchange.

“Anything else…fat…” (Tibor stopped the minute he identified his father being someone else). “Anything else, Mr. Wilson.”

“…” (A short pause ran his course before Wilson smirked from afar of Tibor before he returned to the gracious sheep.) “As a matter of fact, I make sure to have you an Anger Management Therapist at the Company for your session. I hope you get ready for your trip. It will be in two days. Here is your ticket.”

Tibor chose not to add anything else and to bear his first and new cross with pride even though he had no clue where to start. He with no thought behind his mind, took the folding papers in Wilson's hands and peeked in order to confirm his new misery in the world. It was not a lie. He was going to Asia and he could not come on his unfaithful words. It was going to a first accomplishing the honor sentence he gave. How was it going to feel? He was not looking forward to it. He only was aware of one fact. His father had reached his limit, the consequence to his last imaginative exploit in the street.

“One more thing, I really hope you find yourself. If not, not even a woman or a baby will be able to wake you up where you are falling.” Wilson ended with his information of the trip.

Tibor was not a bad child or a wrong son, but it was a time he figured for himself what the painful life offered even with a wealth as thick as the one of his family. He could not in anytime soon understood the forcing battle his father and mother managed to attain this particular point in their lifetime. He could not see his own damage. How was he going to notice those of his parents? Wilson melted inside the house and Tibor remained alone, in the living room. A medieval fireplace with an old brown brick of the old days, matching with the glory of majestic doves. A low transparent crystal table in the middle of the mosaïque room surrounded by blood red chair coinciding with the Royal seat. Jeanette had kept her old antique sewing machine to the right corner, Wilson had conserved the famous violin he used to practice when he was in Tibor age. At that time, his grandfather was sure Wilson would be a famous violinist, one of the coming years. This old antique as well aligned in the opposite direction of the room with the swing mechanic, and the heightening placard in the wall of the left corner with Chinese plate, glasses, tea cups, and the old bat of the old geezer on his own old days. Wilson father, Dylan Grandvue was an excellent baseball player and he made it pro until the day Wilson mother revealed him with the coming of their son. In his wisdom at that moment, whether it would be a good decision or not, he decided to drop his desire to play baseball and form a solid family. In the coming of these current days, he had confessed to his wife.

“For once, I was right to choose you and our family,” Dylan confessed to her wife, Wilson mother one time she was complaining of his natural feeling. Dylan wanted to put her at ease.

The house was an old school which Dylan influenced on his son Wilson…Jeannette was an old school woman with her own grandmother. She was an antique acquirer and she had bought much in her lifetime with her own treasure she left for her daughter family. Tibor looked at his father crossing the dining room, the kitchen, to the patio before he went to the garage and picked up one of his favorite luxury car, the Red C6 Corvette with its grand Sport wheels for an exciting speed racer, through the empty road and the free wind that floated in every direction over the convertible Corvette. Tibor was sure to be in pain, restraint to go, and once more in bad terms with his lack of insurance requirement to transform into a man. Only, he did not feel opposing his father the minute he realized that for once, he meant his words and his current actions spoke better than his words. His room came right into his mind and he went for a nice nap before he made some short calls before he went for his voyage.

As much as Wilson desired to accompany his son to the airport, he prioritized the new deal he had to close with these new inventors and a new liaison with this contemporary entrepreneur. Jeannette drove his son off and reminded him of his vow to his father.

“Mother, they were not vows. They were imposing conditions, impossible to run from, that is all.” Tibor complained more the minute he r
ealized his mother and father was not going to be here to cover his mistakes anymore. Tibor stated the crude reality he was facing right now.

“Then, make the most of it and prove your father wrong.” Jeannette tried to encourage him any way she can, but Tibor did not have the sense to prove anything.

“I do not have to prove something to my father. He wants me to work, I will but that is it.” He did not see the challenge. Just the pretending father who did everything to crash his life one way or another.

I am glad you are nothing of your father, but at the same time, I am sad since you think your father hates you that much. I just hope you do not regret it in the future.” Jeanette comforted his son for the last time and she said goodbye.
