When the two rivals become unlikely friends, they are thrown a curve ball when they discover that Mrs. Hakim has breast cancer and may not make it. Cornelia is forced to choose between her precious clique and her new found friends. She can take the easy road or stand and fight alongside the teacher she once despised.
