So as Shane is hunting and killing other bad guys, the creature in his head fights to control him. Shane fights for his humanity against the darkness inside him. At the same time, he has to maintain his disguise in the world so that no one suspects that this criminal defender, who represents serial killers for a living, is also a serial killer that hunts other serial killers down and kills them.
