In Book One of the Truth Beneath the Lies
Series:  Grace is a journalist who uses
her Cherokee powers to help the police solve crimes.  This last crime, though, she didn’t heed her
ancestors’ warning.  The Serial Killer
sets his sight on Grace who is getting too close to figuring out who he is.

Arie, when she was young, had an accident that
caused her blindness.  She had a father
who adored her, and a mother who would abuse her when her father wasn’t around.  As she grows up, she doesn’t let her abusive
mother or being blind stop her from life. 
She gets a degree in criminology and does an internship with the
FBI.  She learns how to protect herself
and shoot a gun.  After a major incident
in her life, Arie decides to put herself on the list for an eye transplant.  A match comes up and the surgery is done and
successful.

But Arie gets more than just her sight back, she
gets a spirit who has unfinished business before she can cross over.  This case puts her back in touch with Christop,
the cop who was there during the major incident in her life. 

Christoph is a dedicated cop.  His partner just go married, making him look
at his bachelor life.  He has a great
condo, a wonderful sister and mother. 
But something is missing.  When a
911 call comes in, Christoph rushes to the address, knowing that Arie lives
there.  From the first time Christoph met
Arie, she intrigued him.  He wants to get
to know her better, and this call is just the beginning. 

With Christoph’s help, they try to help the
spirit.  But in doing so, they get on the
trail of the Serial Killer.  When the
Serial Killer takes someone close to Arie, will they be able to figure out who
the killer is and stop him from before he kills his latest victim?  Will Arie and Christoph act on their
attraction to each other, will they hold back their hearts or will they take a
chance on love?
