Read Cocaine Storyline:

In 1990, in Quito, Ecuador, drug-virgin Ryan Jacobs is a young Cambridge chemist who ditches his future banking career so he can manufacture synthetic cocaine in Colombia instead of simply exporting the real stuff like everyone else. Flash forward to 2007 and Cannes in the South of France, where George Milton is holed-up in a faceless apartment waiting for a man called Carlos to come and kill him. His principal diversions are torturing neighbours and planning the purchase of a disused perfume factory. Ryan is George and George is Ryan. Separated by seventeen years, this is a story of how some people never learn from their mistakes. Jack Hillgate writes screenplays and novels: his first novel, 'The Jew with the Iron Cross', is an Amazon Bestseller spanning pre-war London, Nazi Germany and post-war Hollywood. His second, 'The Criminal Lawyer', is a romp through corruption and avarice in the world's legal and financial markets. 'Cocaine' is Hillgate's third novel, in two volumes, of which this is the first. Parts of it are based on personal experience.
