Read Left Luggage Storyline:

A terrorist kit: just add crazy and stand back…
His father’s suitcase was lost and forgotten – until now. Full of money and guns, the arrival of the suitcase pitches John Lawrence and his aging mother into the middle of a vicious gang war.
After leaving the army, John is trying to build himself a new life, and trying to do the best he can for his elderly mother. Betty Lawrence isn’t taking her loss of independence well. She was a photojournalist who survived Vietnam, Lebanon and Sarajevo. Now old age and a broken leg have forced her back to an Australia that she hardly knows anymore.
The arrival of the suitcase triggers a power struggle between local crime gangs, and forces John to fight to keep them both alive.
Left Luggage is the first novel in a crime thriller series set in Sydney. If you like page-turning thrillers with compelling characters, surprises, and plenty of atmosphere, then you’ll love this first instalment in the John Lawrence thriller series.

Five Stars - A terrific read
By Bruce Shayler on 17 Oct 2014
From the very first chapter the reader is in no doubt that there will be no putting this book down.
The fast paced plot takes you from a mysterious past in Paris and unfolds in Sydney. There is fast action as the innocent get caught up in the agenda of criminals balanced skilfully with humour.
I am sure there is more to come from this author and from some of these well drawn and believable characters. - amazon.co.uk
Four Stars - Compelling read

It's 11.30pm and I should be be getting some sleep as no doubt my 6 month old son will wake up several times for feeding throughout the night but I can't put the book down. Enough said. Really enjoyed it. - amazon.com.au
Four Stars - Enjoyed getting to know the characters
By Wendy Stahel on 5 October 2014
A crime novel that doesn't bludgeon you with complicated violence in the first breath.
Still found it a page turner ,but enjoyed getting to know the characters, and their surrounds - Sydney and Paris how could you go wrong! As a Sydney--sider loved loved the details of Sydney locales - my living breathing city- absent from most fiction! - amazon.com.au
