In order to get on the ship and not look suspicious, Cara trains vigorously for a week and dresses in nineteenth century costume to become part of the crew. She is about to take her turn on the watch but instead she travels through a time portal and winds up on the Mystic in 1833. Captain Blake Masters comes to her aid and, after Cara partially explains her situation, he agrees to take her to San Diego. Though Blake has doubts about Cara and her story, he experiences her psychic abilities when they become lovers. During their quest to find Andrew, Cara and Blake share some wild adventures and after rescuing Andrew, Blake makes an astonishing discovery about himself. Cara isn't sure how time travel works. Will she be able to bring Andrew to 1998 and what about Blake? Will she only have her memories of him to take with her? This is a nice, easy read and if you enjoy time travel and the super natural, you're in for a double treat! Ms. Liepitz has skillfully penned a pleasing new romance you won't want to miss!
