In U.G.L.Y, The city of Los Angeles is poisoned by a pharmaceutical company's attempt to test a new drug. When a batch of a contaminated tranquilizer is dumped into the water supply feeding the city, Millions of its inhabitants are killed in violent rioting. Those that survive, fall ill and begin to turn into hosts for a fungus who's only goal is to spread. Duncan Stevens narrowly escapes an infected onslaught as he sets out to find his estranged family. But after traveling to Lake Tahoe he discovers that his children have disappeared and left no trace to their location, leaving Duncan no way to follow . Now, with no hope left, Duncan joins a group of Marines for a final assault that will destroy as many infected as possible before they meet their own end.
