Gigi had given up on being happy when everything and everyone she cared for had been jerked out of her life, leaving her shattered. Three years later, she was transferred from Michigan to Florida. She ignored the handsome manager she had to work with. She ignored her co-workers who laughed through Thanksgiving while they looked forward to Christmas.
