Forever Innocent is the first book of Corabelle and Gavin's journey into healing andrediscovery. It was originally written as a standalone and only after early advance readers said they needed more did I realize that there was actually more of their story to tell. This book was not intended to have a cliffhanger ending -- I really did imagine a soaring soundtrack and ambulance ride into the sunset. I absolutely respect those readers who feel the couple needed more happy time at the end. (I'm sure Corabelle and Gavin would agree!) But the book, like life, is pretty messy.
