There are some very interesting people in the world, dullness is never part of life in their company. Such a person was the crippled photographer Jack Snaps, whom I learnt to know very well while reporting for a small country newspaper.Sometimes men do not become friends out of choice, but out of necessity. That is how my friendship with Jack Snaps started, but it grew into an exceptional partnership. Jack did very seldom consider the consequences any of his actions might bring forth, thereby landing himself, and often his friends, in situations that should rather have been avoided.
