Max leads a happy life in the Adirondack Mountains. He loves his job as county sheriff, he loves his wife, and he couldn’t ask for anything more.
Then Max is diagnosed with cancer, given six months to live, and a cataclysm turns ninety percent of the world’s population into zombies.
As if his day couldn’t get any worse, Max soon discovers that his wife has been turned into a zombie along with the rest of the town. To save her soul, he does what any loving husband would do—he handcuffs her, throws her in the back of his Bronco, and sets out to find a cure.
When he comes across his deputy Stefan, his day gets a little brighter. Together they determine that most of the people in town have been infected, and it’s up to them to gather the survivors.
As Max and Stefan wade through the bloodbath and delve deeper into the mystery of the sudden outbreak, they unearth a secret that could save humanity.
Doomsday Sheriff will leave you guessing, and you will probably be wrong.
