Read I See Red Storyline:

Six-year-old Dallas is a living, breathing example of what happens when adults simply give up. Because of his uncontrollable outbursts, he is unable to keep a placement at a regular school. Enter Zoe; a twenty-six-year-old Behavior Specialist, ready to pour her heart and soul into the job. She’s on the frontline of his meltdowns, bearing the battle scars of his rage. While he sees red, Zoe sees Dallas for who he really is; a person who is breaking, but not broken. She sees a child, not a problem to be fixed. When Dallas’s behavior reaches boiling point, his schooling options are exhausted. In a last ditch attempt to remediate the formative years which are closing in on him, Zoe steps up to the plate, and teaches Dallas at home. As usual, Zoe lends a hand by helping to pick up the pieces, unprepared for how the family will suck her into their destructive vortex. As her personal life falls through the cracks, she wonders if she’ll ever meet someone who’ll take care of her, so she can stop taking care of everyone else. Told through the voices of both Dallas and Zoe, I See Red shows you a fly-on-the-wall view of the same world through two very different sets of eyes. Their story is one of determination, forgiveness, resilience, connection, and fierce unconditional love. I See Red is a novel that shows you what it means to be brave.**
