**About the Author
Valentine King is the author of two short story collections, Night Terrors which reached the No.1 spot in the Amazon horror chart in 2014 and After Dark. In addition he has written a novella, No Going Back and a guide to the best fiction books for 8-12 year olds. 
Valentine grew up on a diet of late night radio plays, dark horror novels and strange local legends. Later he discovered the writing of Stephen King, James Herbert and Edgar Allen Poe alongside a healthy diet of schlock 50s B-Movies and 80s slasher flicks which helped shape his writing. His influences range from Jekyll and Hyde to the Twilight Zone, mixing shock and gore with more subtle psychological horror.
