Gore has enough trouble as an orc in a prestigious elven college. Prejudices against the race of “darkness” still run strong. However, her estranged brother has come back, bringing debt and a world of pain and criminal dealings boiling to the surface. Gore should kick him out but to orcs, family comes before everything. And Gore’s brother is the only family she has on this side of the Blight.

That, and his debt is hers in the eyes of the gangs.

Gore's older brother enlists her into the Underground Grand Prix, a ride from dusk till dawn across the harshest desert known to orckind, to repay their debt. With the Magnum Orcus, Gore’s prized racing car, the siblings might have a slim shot but they will have to use every scrap of wit, knowledge and clinically-insane courage to even survive.

If Gore succeeds, her family is freed and she will have more money that she could ever dream of. If she fails… well, there won't be enough of her left to worry.
