“You are brave coming in my establishment testing me. Do your husband know you’re moving this way?” he chuckled before sending a glob of spit next to my shoe.
WHAP!
My pistol met with the side of his face causing blood to fall from his mouth. “You gone stop with the disrespect Muhammed or I promise when my husband gets out he will air this bitch out.” I threatened him with facts. “Now you are cut off until further notice but in the meantime, Imma need those forty racks.”
“Take it in blood, you bad. Coming in my spot and pistol whipping me is already like signing your death wish anyway.”
“Man do this nigga in.” Zo called from behind my back. Everybody stood around with their guns drawn waiting to see what was my next move. “Murk that jit, trust me we have a whole army outside so everybody gon’ die.
He was right. In that moment, I thought of what my husband would do. Khadi took no disrespect in this game and I now understood what he meant when he said this game wasn’t for a woman, but I was a rider so wherever he fell short, I would be right there to pick up his slack. I took my gun off safety and aimed it at Muhammed.
“Stopppppp!” an elderly lady came from the freezer of the store and threw a black bag down at my feet. She was dressed in a black and gold abaya and looked like royalty. “There is fifty thousand in the bag, the extra is for your troubles. I apologize on behalf of my son and hopefully my seat will remain at the table.”
I looked at her in shock, “Your seat?”
“Yes my seat, my son was the face of all my illegal business.”
“Was?” Muhammed turned and asked her.
“Yes, was, you stupid fool. You never bite the hand that feeds you no matter who they are.” She turned back to me.
“I hope you and your husband can find it in your hearts to forgive Muhammed and let me replace him with someone else at the round table.”
Terrance walked over and picked the bag up that was next to my feet.
“Surely I will speak with my husband and we will be in touch.” I smiled before walking out behind Terrance with Zo and Biggs watching my back.
“You’re really going to let them keep their seat?” Terrance asked from the front of the SUV as Biggs drove us home. “You know Muhammed will go against his mother and try you after you embarrassed him like that.”
“I will let Khadi decide if her seat stays or go. As for Muhammed, if you hear one peep out of him lay his ass down.” Terrance nodded his head and we rode in silence the rest of the way home.

“What’s up with you Khali?” I walked into one of the guest rooms she was staying in at our home.
“Bitch, shhhhhhhh.” She held her finger up to her lips tip toeing away from Karlie’s baby bed. “If you wake up Karlie I will whip your ass myself. It took me forever to get her feisty ass to sleep.
We walked out of the room and headed to my bedroom where we usually had our girl talks. “So you wanna tell me what happened at visitation the other day?” I asked her as I flipped through the channels trying to find something good to watch. I settled on B.A.P.S.
“Nothing happened.” She laid at the foot of my bed scrolling through Instagram.
I snatched the phone out of her hand and looked at the screen, “Bitch since when?” I was looking down at Crystal, Zilla’s baby mama page. I threw the phone back at her, “You letting that hood rat bother you?”
She laughed, “Girl, never but anyway you kill anybody today?”
Her question caught me off guard and made me realize what I was really out here doing. Running a damn drug cartel. Never would I have thought this would be my life. I mean I pictured myself raising and nurturing my husband’s kids while cooking and keeping us fly but I guess the saying that life doesn’t always work out the way you plan.
“Seriously, Khali what’s going on with you and Zilla? He’s been calling here like crazy.”
“I just don’t want to be tied down anymore?” she sighed.
“Bitch, I know you fucking lying. Not the same chick who was gonna fuck that nigga on top the table in Trulucks the first night I met your ass. The real dickmatized chick. No ma’am Pam, I’m not falling for that.”
“I don’t want to talk about it.”
“Ok but let me leave you with this: a man is just that a man, they fuck up from time to time but eventually they will halfway get their shit together. And even if they do halfway get it together, it still won’t be what you want it to be. Figure out if he’s worth it or not and…”
“He’s not!” She cut me off. “He lucky he like family, otherwise I would’ve sent a hit out on his ass.”
I fell out laughing but she sat there with a straight face letting me know she was dead ass serious. “Damn, it’s that bad?” I cut my laugh short. “Can’t be worse than my pile of shit.”
“Yeah, you right.” She smirked and I threw a pillow at her ass hitting her in the head.
“Well, everything will turn out for the better, look at me.” I threw my hands up in the air flashing my ring, “I’m married to the love of my life.” I bragged at the thought of Khadi.
“Yeah, yeah, lets watch this movie before we go back to being gangster’s tomorrow.”
I smiled and hit the remote for the lights and thought about what Khali said. This shit was getting to me from the nightmares from my first body to constantly having to watch our backs. Something had to change cause I didn’t know how much longer I would be able to sit at the head of Khadi’s round table.
Chapter 11
Khaza
I laid on the king size Serta mattress in this fancy ass mental institution. Shid, Khadi was pissed with me but he made sure that I was comfortable and had everything top of the line in this joint from this big ass comfortable bed to the five-star meals they fed a nigga daily. It was cool and all, but my gangsta ass belonged on the streets with my family. The knocking on the door pulled me away from my daydream of me returning home. I slipped my feet into a pair of cozy house slippers and headed toward the door.
“Good morning Mr. Santana, here’s your morning paper and coffee.” Angelica, the housing assistant, stood at the door with her push cart with every residents’ morning request. I licked my lips as my eyes roamed over the hunter green scrubs she had on that was hugging every curve on her body. She tucked her shoulder length curly hair behind her ear shyly.
“Thank you, Angel.” I called her by the nickname I’d given her. I truly felt like she was my angel in this place and the encouragement she would give me on the daily to take my medicine made me start taking the shit without being told. It was something about how she didn’t give a fuck about my sickness that attracted me to her more and more each day. The more I took my meds, the clearer shit had been for me. Angel was really pretty with light, smooth, brown skin and hazel eyes. Her reddish brown hair was naturally curly falling right over her shoulder and her thick thighs in those scrubs turned me the fuck on. Normally, a nigga like me would go for the fake ass and tits with long weave but Angel didn’t need all that, on a scale of one to ten she was definitely an eleven. She was everything that I wasn’t used too and I think that’s what attracted me to her in the first place. Her personality and caring qualities sealed the deal for me. I wanted her worse than I wanted anything in my life but she was a teaser, a nigga hadn’t even got a chance to sniff the pussy.
“Mr. Santanaaaa,” she called my name out in a hushed tone, her face flushed in embarrassment looking around to make sure no one heard me call her that. I leaned against the door frame and smiled revealing the water glistening diamonds that she told me made her pussy dripping wet in one of our late-night conversations.
“Don’t worry Angel, all your secrets are safe with me.” I licked my lips again making her blush as I pulled the newspaper out of her hand and smacked her on the ass with it as she walked away. She jumped from my boldness but I could tell from the look in her eyes when she looked back at me she liked that shit. I closed the door and threw the
newspaper down on the coffee table in the small living area of my apartment and almost walked away until I seen Khadi’s picture on the front page alongside Zilla’s and Khaddo.
“What the fuck?” I questioned myself out loud. I grabbed the newspaper in disbelief and took a seat on the edge of my recliner re-reading the headlines again:
Trial Set to Begin!
Khadi Santana
Khaddo Santana
Zorian Mitchell
Are set to begin trial in two weeks from today for the brutal murders of Kassidy Jones, Chris Issac, and Claude Issac.
That was the last thing I read before grabbing a pair of Nike sweats off the end of my bed and headed downstairs to find a phone. A million questions ran through my mind like who was watching after Khali and the baby, was the empire crumbling, and why the hell maman hadn’t told me any of this shit?
“Angel?” I found her in the laundry room putting stuffing some sheets in the washer. “I need to use your cell phone, now.” I walked up on her damn near out of breath.
“Mr. Santana, you know the rules. You have to get permission from a counselor and use the phones upfront.”
“Quit with that Mr. Santana shit, like you don’t want a nigga to blow your back out.” I told her before digging down in the front of her scrub pocket grabbed her iPhone. She tried to grab my arm but I was too quick for her, “Angel, baby, I really like you but right now my family is in shambles so don’t make me do you dirty behind a phone call.” I sneered at her with demonic eyes.
“I could lose my job.” She looked at me with pleading eyes.
“Baby girl, you look out for a nigga like me and you may never have to work another day in your life.” My mood had soften seeing as though I was scaring her.
She sighed, “You got five minutes.” She hurriedly turned away from me.
I darted back up the stairs back into my room and headed to my windowless bathroom for some privacy. My fingers immediately dialed maman number and then decided against it. If she wanted me to know about Khadi she would’ve been on the first thing smoking up here. I cleared the screen and stared at it for a few minutes before punching in the numbers of the only other person who could get me out of this place.
“Hello?” she spoke into the phone. Hearing my niece cooing in the background instantly put a smile on my face. “Hello? Who is this?”
“I-Its Khaza.” I cleared my voice and listened to the silence on the other end of the phone. “I need to be home with you all… I need to be home with my family.” I damn near begged on the phone. This was my chance to prove to them that I was sorry.
Finally, the voice on the other end spoke up, “I’m glad you called because we need you now more than ever.”
I swear I felt like the heaviest weight was lifted off my shoulders as we made travel plans for me to arrive safely back into Miami where I belonged. Once we hung up the phone, I dropped down to my knees and said a quick prayer before taking my meds. I needed to be in my right state of mind to protect my family.
The door to my room flew open and instead of fussing about me using her phone for too long she dropped down to her knees beside me and began praying. This damn girl was like an angel to me for real, “Angel?” I nudged her in the side, “Get your purse baby, we going to Miami.”
“I’ll have to go home and pack.” She looked at me in my eyes letting me know that wherever I was is where she wanted to be.
“We will take care of all that once we get there.”
Chapter 12
Toi
I rubbed my sweaty palms against my jeans as I nervously waited for the C.O. to call my name up for visitation. The waiting room was noisy and packed wall to wall with barely enough room for everyone to sit down. Small babies were crying while toddlers ran around chasing each other and a few adults were having conversations like that knew each other outside of the jail house. I was pretty sure that these visits every week most likely brought them together. I sat quietly to myself trying to block out the noise, imagining how Khadi would react to seeing me.
“Visit for Santana.” I instantly jumped up when I heard the guard call out Khadi’s last name.
“Right here!” I hurriedly walked up and handed him my identification to scan as I nervously tapped the heel of my shoes waiting for the steel doors to slide open.
I was draped in the best outfit I had packed. The high waisted Good American jeans I had on flared out at the bottom hugging my body like they were painted on me and the pink Gucci t-shirt was tucked inside revealing my sexy waistline. My short silky hair was freshly done in some soft finger waves and I had a lite beat of makeup covering my cinnamon brown skin. The size five that Khadi would remember me by had easily turned into a thicky, thick nine thanks to KJ.
I loved my thickness I just hope it turned Khadi on. I walked ahead of the C.O. following the sign that read Visitation rooms but was halted, “This way.” He grabbed my arm and guided me in a different direction.
We stopped in front of a door that had “private” written on it. The C.O. opened the door revealing just a steel grey table with chairs on each side of it in the middle of the floor. “Santana will be in shortly.” He said before walking out and closing the door behind me.
I smirked to myself as I walked around the small room. It wouldn’t be Khadi Santana if he wasn’t having private visits in jail away from regular population. Smiling, I spoke outloud… “my baby still a boss.” The door swinging open startled me as I turned around and our eyes connected, my smile stayed on my face as I admired the love of my life. Khadi didn’t look a day over twenty-one and it showed in his muscular cut body but mainly his young, boyish features. The grey sweat suit fit his frame just right. He kept himself up all these years even though I didn’t expect anything less.
My clit thumped just looking at the dick print in his sweats. I missed this man so much that I had to close my eyes and grab the bottom of my chair to prevent me from jumping over the table and marking my territory as he walked toward the table and took a seat. I took a deep breath trying to calm myself down. I know I said that this was strictly about KJ but seeing Khadi in the flesh was confirmation that I needed my man back.
“So, where is the kid or is this another one of your schemes?” his voice dripped with so much anger that it wiped the smile off my face and had me second guessing even coming over here.
“He’s at the hotel with your mom.” He kissed his teeth like he didn’t believe a word I said while continuing to give me the death stare.
“Fuck you want? Money?” his eyebrows furrowed like I remembered they did whenever he was mad or confused.
“I don’t need money Khadi, I would like for you to be in KJ’s life.” I don’t know why but my bottom lip was trembling and tears formed in my eyes. I promised myself in the car on the way over here that I wouldn’t shed a tear. I needed to remember that I stayed for the sake of my and KJ’s safety, but here I was with those salty regrets running down my face fucking up my makeup.
Khadi’s fists slammed down on the table scaring the shit out of me.
“Dammit Toi, what the fuck were you thinking? Six years? You left a nigga outchea naked for six years.” He roared across the table causing my tears to come down harder. “I painted my city red for months behind your disloyal ass. I was reckless with my shit just to bring my bitch back home where she belonged.” He continued to rant as I sat there and cried harder than ever.
He stopped pacing the floor and stared at me weirdly causing me to shift uncomfortably in my seat. I wiped my tears and took this opportunity of silence to speak up.
“Khadi he…” I could barely get my words out without choking up. “He spared me be-because of KJ, I swear he was going to kill me.” My tears returned as he continued to look at me with disgust. “I-I should’ve done more Khadi but he held me against my will the first two years and by then, I knew you wouldn’t believe me or take me back. I’m so sorry!” I sobbed standing up from the table and walking over to him dropping
down to my knees in a praying position begging for his forgiveness. “I’m sorry baby.” Baby? Ok that just rolled freely off my lips.
He grabbed me by my shoulders, pulling me up off the ground and taking me into his embrace. “I’m sorry baby.” I cried, “Tell me what to do, I’ll do anything to make us right.”
Pulling away from me he looked down at me, “Toi, the-…”
I kissed him. I had too. I didn’t want him to recite those words that Biggs said to me in the hotel room that night. When he didn’t say anything, I kissed his succulent lips again this time more passionately, I needed him to feel my sorryness as my hand slid down inside his grey sweatpants and found his member that was standing at attention. Dropping down to my knees, I quickly pulled them down and flicked my tongue across his massive tip. I felt his body jump from my touch as I took it a step further and placing it into my warm watering mouth.
A slight moan escaped his lips as I bobbed my head back and forth, slobbing everywhere. My god, I missed this man so much I wouldn’t have cared if the guard walked in on us. Nothing would stop me from delivering this mind-blowing head.
“I miss you.” I moaned in between taking turns sucking his dick and rotating both my hands around it like I was performing the grapefruit trick as he pumped faster causing me to gag a little bit, but I ate that shit up I had to.
I let him continue to fuck my mouth while I took one hand and unbuttoned my pants which probable had a wet spot in the middle from the ocean that formed between my legs. Yup! This man still had that affect on my kitty cat. I pulled his dick out of my mouth and stood up stepping out of my jeans. Raising my shirt over my head I threw it on the floor revealing my perfect set of 36c’s. I wasn’t wearing a bra and thanks to Diesel, I didn’t have to. Once I was willingly fucking and sucking him, he got my titties done. Circling my nipples, I hopped up on the table never breaking eye contact with him, before laying back and spreading my legs back as far as they could go giving him a panoramic view of my pussy. See Diesel loved a freaky bitch, so I had to learn a few things, but this wasn’t what Khadi would’ve ever expected from me. I used to be shy in the bedroom with him but this new Toi was getting ready to rock his world.
