  Acknowledgments

There are so many people besides the author that help a book become a reality. I need to thank:

My wife, Leilani, who listens to me prattle off whatever details about my stories pop into my mind, whenever they occur to me, day or night.

My sons, Ethan and Logan, who valiantly lobbied for the survival of their favorite mechs.

My beta-readers. My sister Kristen, and my friends Eric and John. Thank you for your input and encouragement, even after reading multiple versions of the story.

The 20Booksto50K Facebook group and its founder Michael Anderle, Craig Martelle, all the admins, and group members that selflessly share such deep and thorough knowledge on the nuts and bolts of publishing. You’re a constant inspiration and show us newcomers that all levels of success are possible, that there are many ways up the mountain, and that a rising tide floats all boats!

The Self Publishing Formula Facebook group and podcast. Mark Dawson, James Blatch, and the entire community are another valuable source of information and inspiration.

Of course, there are others but I’ll save some for the next book!

  About the Author

Greg Sorber is a lifelong fan of science fiction, fantasy, and comic books. Some of his earliest memories are of Land of the Lost, Logan's Run, and Lost in Space. Seeing Star Wars in the theater for the first time in 1977 was a life-changing experience. An avid reader from an early age, Greg always loved books that engaged his imagination. It was reading The Hobbit in 7th grade and writing a short story that same year that set him down the path of becoming a writer. Greg Sorber lives in Riverside, California with his family and two dogs, Orson a beagle, and Olivia a Schnauzer mix.
