Monster Dragon

They had just seen each other, and something animalistic and feral had taken over both of them, and they’d fucked their damn brains out. Now he was sore and tired in all the best ways, and he sat there with Coconut, looking at her soft body as the rays of sunlight covered her, and for the first time in a very long time, Brian felt happy.

  Chapter 6

Winter hadn’t expected the man to invite her into his home, but apparently, he took pity on the fact that she didn’t have a place to stay and that she was covered in sand.

Besides, she’d ridden his dick until he’d come deep inside of her, and it had been wonderful.

  Incredible.

“Come inside,” he murmured, stroking her cheek.

  “Into the house?”

Dragon nodded with a little smile. Apparently, he’d had just as much fun as Winter had. Maybe even more.

She’d never made a guy come like that before, and the realization of just how big his orgasm had been was thrilling to her. She felt like a sexual goddess. She felt like she had prowess.

That was something Winter’s friends were always talking about: prowess.

Well, she finally felt like she knew what they meant when they brought it up.

“We’re strangers,” Winter whispered. She didn’t know what the proper protocol was here. She’d never had sex with a random guy on a beach, especially not after being told to vacate the premises.

  “I don’t think we’re strangers anymore, Coconut.”

“You still don’t know my real name.”

This didn’t seem to bother Dragon. He just leaned forward and kissed her, biting her bottom lip gently.

“Spend the weekend with me,” he said. “Do you have anywhere you need to be before Monday?”

  No, she didn’t.

She might not even have anywhere she needed to be after Monday, depending on how things went with her meeting. She didn’t want to think about that, though. Dragon was much more interesting than anything else she had going on, and the truth was that he made Winter feel...

Well, he made her feel a bit free.

“Okay,” she nodded. It was a spur-of-the-moment sort of choice, and it wasn’t one she’d normally make. She had no idea what had gotten into her, but yeah, she wanted to spend the weekend with him.

If the sex was half as good as what they’d just experienced, then she was down. She was so down.

Dragon was charming and sweet, and apparently, he was quite the giver. He’d pushed her, egging her on to talk dirty to him, and it had been fun.

When was the last time sex had just been fun?

As Winter pulled her tent down, folding it up, the man looked at her carefully. Oh, he’d told her to call him Dragon, but she knew that wasn’t his name. Just like her name wasn’t Coconut, he couldn’t really go through life being called Dragon.

But Winter kind of liked the name on him. It was fierce, just like him. It was strong.

“So, what brings you to Sapphire Island?” Dragon asked. He helped her load her books into her backpack. She noticed that he was gentle with them, and she appreciated that. A man who respected books could be hard to find.

“I have a meeting on Monday,” she said. “Then I have to go back home.”

At least, she thought she still had a meeting. Now that the sex was over, and the “being wild” stuff was over, she was hit with reality again. She was going to have to make a decision about what she was going to do.

She could cancel her meeting with Mr. Monster, and it would be no hard feelings. Leon was definitely already planning to send someone in her place, anyway. Only, the person that he sent was definitely going to betray Mr. Monster’s confidence, and this had been Winter’s story. It had been her project.

She didn’t want someone else to take over for her. She didn’t want another writer to step into her place and try to “get” Mr. Monster.

  He didn’t need that.

Although Winter had never met Brian, Declan, or Christopher Monster, their reputations preceded them. Each of them had their own special traits and characteristics that coupled together to make them into this incredibly fantastical unit. Their company provided safety and security software for many different islands, companies, and private individuals.

Their contributions to the world couldn’t be minimized, so yeah, maybe she should still go to the meeting. It would be awkward, of course, but she could just walk in and be honest. She could say something sweet, simple, and to-the-point.

“Mr. Monster, I’m so sorry that my former boss is a complete asshole” probably wouldn’t go over too well.

“Mr. Monster, I just needed to let you know that Dragons Daily is a wildly shitty newspaper and you should never work with them” was probably just as weak.

“I’m sorry you have to return home so early,” Dragon said.

  “Thanks,” Winter nodded. “Me too.”

“Have you been to Sapphire Island before?”

“No,” she shook her head. “This is my first time.”

She didn’t want it to be her last time. So far, it had been pretty damn nice. She’d gotten fucked, and not just fucked. She’d had the best damn sex of her life. It wasn’t often that you had curl-your-toes good sex.

That had been some damn good sex, though.

“Well, I hope you’ll have time for some sightseeing before you go home,” he told her.

  “I don’t know,” Winter shrugged.

  “Busy work schedule?”

“I mean, I was sitting on the beach staring at my closed laptop when you found me,” she said, chuckling nervously.

“Hmm,” Dragon looked at her, considering her. “Well then, come on.”

“Come on?” Winter raised an eyebrow.

“Let’s get you inside. You could use a shower and some tea and maybe a cookie,” he winked at her.

“You’re going to bathe me and feed me?” Winter blinked, surprised. She knew he was inviting her to the house, but she still sort-of figured that it was the first step in getting her off of his beach. Even if she was going to spend the weekend with him, she hadn’t really thought about him taking care of her.

Not that she didn’t want it.

  She totally, absolutely wanted it.

She just hadn’t expected anything like that at all to happen to her. Her plan had been simply to relax as much as possible on the beach, to walk around and snap pictures of the island, and to conduct a couple of additional interviews to really flesh out her story.

She’d arrived the night before and had met with a dragon woman who ran a little coffee shop. The lady had been more than happy to talk about how much she loved being a shifter and how shifters made the best coffee in the world.

Then this morning, Winter had met with a guy who ran his own bakery. Apparently, shifters were crazy about food. The guy had been more than happy to show Winter exactly how he got his pastries to be so fluffy and his biscuits to be so delicious. He’d even given her a sandwich to take with her “for the road,” and she’d enjoyed it for lunch.

Now she had two full days before she was supposed to meet with Monster Brothers Security. It was Friday evening, and the offices were already closed for the day. Otherwise, Winter could have simply called the office, told them what was going on, and then headed home.

As it was, she didn’t want to go through the hassle of taking a ferry back home, as well as a cab. That was time and money she didn’t really want to spend, especially if she was just going to come back on Monday. Somehow, even though she could call, revealing Dragon Daily’s terrible secret felt like something that should be done in person.

“Yes,” Dragon said. “I’m going to feed you.”

  “Okay,” she whispered.

  “That’s okay with you?”

“Yeah, I love food,” she nodded.

“Good. I like a woman who isn’t afraid to enjoy cookies.”

  “You do?”

  “I do,” Dragon nodded.

  “Do you
have a lot of experience dating women who don’t like to eat?” Winter asked. She probably shouldn’t have probed, but she was curious, and he seemed honest enough. Besides, she’d had his penis inside of her. They were close enough to ask each other questions.

“Some,” Dragon nodded. He started picking up some of Winter’s random non-book items, and she picked up the rest. Then together, they started walking toward the nearest big house. Apparently, that was where Dragon lived.

Winter had been lucky when she’d chosen her secret camping spot.

Well, lucky or destined to have something exciting happen to her. She wasn’t sure which it was.

  “Tell me more.”

“Well,” he said slowly, “I don’t date a lot these days.”

  “Why not?”

“So many questions, little Coconut,” Dragon shook his head.

  “Sorry. I’m just curious.”

“It’s okay. I’m happy to share.”

  “Well, then?”

“I don’t date a lot because I’m busy with work. If I’m being honest with you,” he looked at her slyly, “then it’s kind of an excuse.”

  “Why?”

“Because my brothers both just got married, and I’m the last single guy in my family.”

“That must be hard,” she said. She understood how messy family relationships could be. “That’s how my family is, too.”

  “Your brothers are both married?”

“Yep,” she nodded. “I have two younger brothers who both got married. My family always jokes about me being an old maid,” she shrugged.

  “That sounds annoying.”

“It kind of is,” she agreed. “Besides, it’s not like there’s anything wrong with me.”

At least, she didn’t think that there was. Her mother always seemed to think that there was, but Winter kind of believed that she was sort of, a little bit, okay. There was just a lot of pressure in her family to perform, and to be even more than she already was.

“There’s nothing wrong with you,” Dragon spoke with such confidence that she smiled. Maybe he was right. Maybe there really wasn’t anything the matter with her.

They reached the gate and Dragon reached for the keypad. He punched in a number, and the keypad blinked twice and then there was a clicking sound. Then the gate swung open. Winter noticed a little sign below the keypad with the name of the security company.

“Oh hey,” she pointed to the sign. “Monster Brothers Security.”

Dragon tensed and turned to her.

  “You’ve heard of them?”

“Yeah, they’re fantastic,” she said. She almost blurted out that she’d been working on a story about their company and how the three brothers had built it from the ground up, but she didn’t.

If Dragon hadn’t even shared his real name, chances were that he didn’t want to share personal job information, either. He probably didn’t care at all that she was a writer, or that she’d quit her job over an ethical dilemma, or that she was doing her best to make a name for herself as a writer.

He probably didn’t care at all, but she did.

She’d been put in a hard spot by her boss. She didn’t like the fact that he’d basically made her feel like shit. Leon had forced her to choose morals or money, and she’d chosen morals. It didn’t feel good, though.

Wasn’t making the right choice supposed to feel good?

“Are you okay?” Dragon turned to her suddenly. “What’s wrong?”

  “Nothing.”

  “You smell anxious,” he said.

  “Smell?”

She was embarrassed, suddenly. Did she stink? Was that what he meant? Oh, she didn’t want to be stinky. Not for the dragon. Not for him. She definitely didn’t want to be his stinky human lover. No way, no how, no thank you.

“I mean, I’m scenting you,” he said, flustered.

  “Scenting?”

“I’m a shifter, you see,” he said.

  “Oh.”

She had figured that much out.

  “Yeah.”

  “So, you can smell emotions?”

  “I can.”

  “And I smell anxious?”

  “Yes.”

“It’s just a work thing,” she said. That was the truth. She was feeling totally anxious about work, and she had no idea at all what she was going to do about it.

Sooner or later, she’d have to face the fact that the weekend was going to end, and she’d have to hurry up and find another job.

  Otherwise, she’d be evicted.

She’d be cast out of her home, and there was no chance anyone was going to rent her a home after she’d been evicted for failing to pay. Crap.

“Hey,” Dragon stepped over to her and reached for her chin. He tilted her face up to his. “Whatever it is that’s bothering you, it’s going to be okay, all right? I promise.”

Winter didn’t know why, but in that moment, she believed him. She trusted him. She knew that he was telling the truth. He might be a total stranger to her, but he wasn’t the type of stranger who was going to lie.

“Yeah,” she whispered, licking her lips. “Okay.”

  Chapter 7

After a long, hot shower in his bathroom, Coconut appeared in the kitchen where Brian was reading emails. He looked up at her and smiled. Oh, this weekend just kept getting better and better, and it was still only Friday. He knew she had things to do on Monday, but she’d planned to spend the weekend on Sapphire Island doing...what?

  Hanging out on the beach?

Oh, the weekend could be so much better than that, and they would start right now.

“Coconut,” he murmured, standing up and walking over to her.

  “Dragon.”

“I think you forgot your clothes.”

“On purpose,” she whispered, as though he might not know.

“What a naughty girl,” he said.

“I am a little naughty,” she blushed, and then she bit her bottom lip.

Brian was really beginning to love the way she did that. It was wildly erotic to him how she just bit her lip, or her fingers, or her hair. She had all of these nervous little habits that just seemed to come together to make his cock even more hard for her than it already was. He liked that she was so quirky and cute.

Brian lifted her up and she instantly wrapped her legs around him. He kissed her, cupping her bottom and holding her close to himself. She started grinding her body against his, and even though they’d just had sex on the beach, he was ready for more.

He was ready for round two.

He set her down on the counter and stepped between her legs. He kissed her as he unzipped his pants, tugging them down.

“You’re so fucking sexy,” he said.

  “Not as sexy as you.”

“I’m going to make you a bad girl before the weekend is done,” he chuckled.

“The weekend?” Coconut looked at him, surprised. He’d already invited her to stay, but apparently, the human didn’t believe his invitation was real.

Was she used to people using her and then shoving her aside?

Oh, no. She was much too precious for that. He wasn’t going to have any part of that sort of thing. She was going to stay right here with him. They would themselves up in his house and spend the entire weekend eating and fucking and just enjoying each other.

“Spend the weekend with me,” he said once more.

  “But...”

“But what?” Brian reached for her chin and tilted it up to himself. What reservations did the little human have? He knew perfectly well that it was too soon, and that they’d only just met. He knew there were a million other reasons they shouldn’t do this, but he didn’t care. He wanted her, and unless he was wildly mistaken, she wanted him, too.

  “We only just met.”

  “I know.”

“You don’t think it’s crazy to spend the weekend fucking?”

  “It’s crazy.”

“You don’t even know my name.”
/>
“You can tell me if you want,” he nipped at her ear, biting it a little. She groaned at the sensation, and his cock twitched.

  “No.”

  “No?”

“No, I don’t want to tell you my name. I like the mystery of this,” she whispered. “Whatever this thing is between us, Dragon, I like it, and I want more.”

“I can give you more,” he promised. He’d give her anything she wanted, anything she needed. He’d do anything for the little human if she’d keep falling apart for him. He planned to give her a weekend of orgasms. The only sightseeing she’d be doing would be in his bedroom because he was crazy about her.

  “Okay,” she said.

  “Okay?”

“I’ll spend the weekend with you,” she whispered. “I know it’s crazy, and I know I have to leave on Monday, but...”

But there was something between them. There was some sort of crazy, wild, wonderful connection between them. If Brian didn’t know better, he’d say they were mates, but that would be crazy. His brothers had both fallen in love with girls who rocked their socks right off, but Brian was different.

He wasn’t the type of guy who fell in love.

He definitely wasn’t the type of guy that lucky things happened to. There he was, though, in his kitchen with a human woman whose pussy was wet and ready for him, and he wasn’t about to overthink the situation. He was going to enjoy it while it lasted.

On Monday, he could go back to work, and he could deal with Savannah and Declan and Christopher. He could deal with his team, and he could deal with paperwork, and he could suck up the frustration of being bored with everything.

Right now, though, he didn’t need to feel anything but pleasure. Coconut was here, and she was ready for him, just as he was ready for her. He reached for her throat and gripped it as he brought his lips down to hers. She groaned, moaning against his mouth as he dominated her with his kiss, and then he slid his cock inside of her.

She stayed on the counter, hanging off the edge as he slid his cock deep inside of her. He kept one hand on her ass and the other around her throat as he thrust deeper and deeper into her.
