“No. No, I want to sink my claws into you and never let you go,” Andy said. “I wake up every morning and wonder what I did to deserve you so I can keep doing it.”

Despite his worry that Andy would say no, Red laughed. “I actually stick around for your baking,” he joked.

“Oh. Well, that’s okay, then. I can keep doing that.” Andy shifted his head, wriggling closer to Red’s body. “Yes.”

Red blinked. Had he heard that right?

  “Yes as in… yes?”

Andy snorted, letting his hand fall on Red’s chest. “Yes as in yes, I’ll marry you. Assuming you’re still asking.”

“I’m still asking,” Red said in a hurry, not wanting to leave any room for doubt.

“Then I’ll marry you.” Andy yawned widely. “Just, uh. Not this week, please?”

Red reached out to turn Andy’s face toward him, catching his lips. He kept the kiss soft, lazy, only really interested in the contact. He’d never get tired of kissing Andy, either.

  “Whenever you’re ready,” Red promised.

“I’m ninety-seven percent ready,” Andy said. “You’ll just have to push me to a hundred.”

Red chuckled, wrapping an arm around Andy to hold him close. “I will,” he said.

He was getting his storybook ending with Andy after all.
