Prophesy Book III

“You are serious?” Adres yawned.
“Yes. You see how tired you are. That means you need a vacation. Our people are safe. The bloodmobiles will be rolling out next week. It’s the perfect time to get away before we have to plan the next drive. I bet Wick and Justice are doing the same. Hell, I’m sure all of my siblings are going to take some time away with their mates to enjoy the peacetime. To celebrate.”
Adres dropped his head to Macauley’s shoulder. He was quiet for so long that he thought Adres had ignored his request and was falling into a slumber when he mumbled quietly, “All right. Let us try a… vacation.”
Macauley wanted to leap off the sofa, but he was too worn-out to move, so he sent his cheer towards his mate, earning himself another grin that made his body warm. “I haven’t ventured very far from the White Mountains, except the one time I went to the Dales. Where will we go?”
“Anywhere you would like, beloved.”
Macauley snapped his fingers as if he’d just remembered the perfect place. “How about Las Vegas, oh, or Hollywood?”
“It appears I spoke too soon.” Adres sat up slowly, his eyes narrowing as if Macauley had lost his damn mind. “You call those vacation selections?”
“I am not getting on a plane, Adres,” he growled, “so Paris is out.”
“That is fine, but I am not going to Hollywood. No one goes to Hollywood on their own accord. People in Hollywood don’t want to be in—”
“Okay, okay, I got it.” Macauley placed his fingertips over Adres’s lips. “Do you have a place in mind since you’re so well-traveled?”
“Actually, I do.”
Gods, Macauley could converse with this man for the rest of his days and never grow tired of hearing his voice. “Well, don’t keep me in suspense, handsome. Tell me.”
“The Monstrous Reef and beyond.”
Macauley sat forward, radiating with renewed energy. “Are you serious? We can go to the fairy lands?”
“You…”—Adres stroked his thumb over Macauley’s jaw— “they would devour.”
“Me? I thought it was forbidden to go there without just cause.”
“Those not welcome will surely find themselves at the bottom of the reef.” Adres cringed. “And it’s called monstrous for a reason.”
Macauley frowned. “This isn’t sounding like paradise.”
“But you can also bring them a gift, and if it is accepted, they will open the doors to their enchanted world.”
“You have a gift for them?”
Adres’s grin was sexy and slightly worrisome. “I do. I have you, young wolf. And all of your goodness. I brought them an omega centuries ago… and now I have a Volkov alpha. The righteous one.” Adres straddled his lap. “They won’t be able to keep their hands off of you.”
Macauley spread his legs and closed his eyes as Adres fed him images of a lush tropical paradise with crystal-clear lakes covered in lotus flowers, visions of them making love on a bed of white sand that shimmered like diamonds, and beautiful iridescent men and women bathing him in the fountain of youth. Massaging his weary body… grooming his wolf. “Oh yeah. Mmm. I think this will work.”
Adres yanked out of his mind, leaving him feeling cheated as if he’d stolen his orgasm at the last second. “Then let’s get packed. I never thought I would be able to return after I left Orion there. Now, I must say… I’m blessed to be able to return with you, my beloved.”
Macauley took Adres’s hand and led them upstairs to the bedroom of their home. As they packed their luggage, he brainstormed building his mate a new home fit for a Titan.

I want to first thank my husband and my family for being so understanding and selfless to allow me the peace and quiet to conclude the Prophesy series. It’s been hell working and trying to be creative the past couple of years but my amazing Facebook team—AE’s Alpha Team—and the loyal MM readers have really helped get me through it. It’s easy to keep pushing through hard times when I have such amazing support.
And of course, my production team is the absolute best in my opinion. No matter my insane deadline, they show up and show off for me. And I can’t thank them enough. The professionalism and respect we all have for each other, makes the production part of my books far less painful. From start to finish: Carra Saigh, Jennifer Reilley, Sandra Dee, Sue Laybourn, Mildred Jordan, Joanna Villalongo, Jay Aheer, Casey Harvell. My promotions and graphics team, Eliza Rae, Michelle Slagan, Stacy Sirkel, Rachel Yunk, and Lisa Marie are all responsible for getting my title in front of as many MM lovers as possible and they never fail do an amazing job. A huge thank you to my audio team for picking a phenomenal narrator for each title, every time! (Sue Staltare, Megan Turngren, Suzanne Shoffeitt).
And I want to give a special thank you to the newest addition, Joanna Villalongo of Precision Freelance Editing and Proofing for jumping in at the last minute and offering her amazing proofing services. I look forward to working with you in the future, my dear! Welcome to the team!
A.E. Via has been a best-selling author in the beautiful gay romance genre for six years now, but she’s no stranger to MM. She’s been an avid reader of gay lit for over fifteen years before she picked up her own pen to place her kiss on this genre. She’s also the founder and owner of Via Star Wings Books, having published a couple great, up-and-coming MM authors.
A.E. has a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice from Virginia Wesleyan College that she used to start her own paralegal firm after she graduated in 2008. It was a rewarding and satisfying career… but another path called to her.
Writing.
A.E.’s writing embodies everything from hopelessly romantic to adventure, to scandalous. Her stories often include intriguing edges and twists that take readers to new, thought-provoking depths.
She’s currently known now for her hardcore, play rough and love hard, bad boy, alphas. However, she does like to push herself to step out of her comfort zone and exploring different tropes. She’s head over heels for gay romance and has tons of more hot stories to tell.
