Chapter 1
Leon – Demon’s Lair Noir Valley
Shit, the crappy thing with security duty are the fucking rules. Especially the one about no drinking or gambling. There’s a good crowd on the Demon Lair tonight. Easy picking. Which isn’t unusual since most nights we find ourselves busy. Although at weekends our clientele tends to double.
As my gaze sweeps the room, it lands on one of the far tables where I studiously watch Bastian, the River Demon’s Vice President, play his game. From my advantage point I find it easy to observe one of the other players, Clarence Davaro. Why, Bastian is playing cards with that low life, baffles me. My frown deepens as I attempt to fathom what he is up too with Davaro. The bastard already owes the club more money than he has. His gambling has left him with a debt to the River Demons he has no way of settling. Especially not while Day has his eye on the bastard’s house. Fuck, tomorrow, Bastion and I are visiting the poor bastard. And when we leave, we will be walking away with the deeds.
Bored with the game, I absently glance out of the window. The night sky is starless and If it wasn’t for the lights surrounding the boat, the outside would be void, leaving me with nothing to see. Fishing, I think this weekend I’ll go fishing. With a satisfied snort, I rise from my stool, and with a resounding loud crunch of my bones, I stretch my body. I may not be allowed to drink or gamble, but there was no rule against finding someone to fuck.
A sudden commotion at the main doors breaks into my hunt for a body for the night, causing me to spin round. The sight which greets me, has me stopping in my tracks. There’s a redhead standing in the archway arguing with Alex, the club’s Road Manager. One moment they are chatting. The next, the little redhead kicks Alex on his shin as she storms past him. Uncaring about the damage she causes as she barges through the room until she finds who she is looking for when she comes to halt at Bastian’s table. Their raised voices has me casually strolling over. Only for me to come to a halt when a hand lands on my arm. With a shrug, I attempt to shake off the hold. Turning towards my capturer, I come face to face with Day, the club’s President. “I’m sure Bastian can handle it.”
The hullabaloo from the table goes up a notch, and not bothering to hide their interests in the disturbance, the other patrons stop playing cards. The sound of spinning wheels and balls clattering on the tables, die down as the players watch the rumpus. The redhead is attempting to pull Davaro from his seat, who refuses to move. His arm rises in preparation to strike the young woman. Before he is able to make contact with the stranger, Bastian has the older man by the throat, hauling him up from his seat. His own fist pulled back as he goes nose to nose with the gambler. Whatever Bastian is saying, has the gambler turning to the redhead, whose lips are set in a petulant pout as she follows Davaro out of the room.
Regardless of what is happening around me, I follow the path the couple have taken, and from the outer door, I continue to watch as they march down the gangway. Whatever their conversation is about, it isn’t going well. Then I find myself following the couple until they climb into an old battered car, and I continue to them until the rear lights have faded, and the only sound I hear, is the lapping of the river against the bank.
“The actions inside, Leon.” With a wry grin, I spin towards Day, slapping him on the shoulder as we return to the riverboat.
The riverboat is old and has belonged to Day’s family for several generations. The wealth it represented long gone. It is also the only home the biker has ever known. When he inherited it from the grandfather who brought him up, it was nothing more than a wreck. Yet with a lot of care, love, attention, time and money, Day and the other brothers finally managed to make her seaworthy.
Once she was water worthy, we turned her back into a river gaming boat. An achievement we are proud to have accomplished. She isn’t on the same scale as the other gambling boats or casinos. Yet she suits our needs. When needed we can easily sail her up and down the river, move contraband under the guise of the gambling. When we weren’t using the boat, we were riding the roads. Yeah, being a member of The River Demons has its benefits, giving me the best of both worlds.
“What was that all about.” Dragged
from my thoughts by the amusement in Day’s voice, I turn to study my President. Day is a year or two younger than me. His black hair tumbles down his back, and cerulean eyes probed me intently.
“I was just making sure the girl wasn’t in trouble.”
Day’s chuckle fills the air as we step into the room we vacated earlier. The players have returned to their games and Bastian now sits at the bar with a drink in his hand. Beside him, stands one of the club whore’s and with a slap to Day’s back, I march over to join them. “Who’s the redhead?”
Bastian raises his eyes from his drink. The skin crinkling as he smirks at me. “She’s one of the Davaro’s.”
Swallowing the drink, the girl behind the bar has handed me, I once more glance around the room before returning my attention to Bastian. “I thought there were just the two boys.”
“Nope, there’s a gaggle of girls amongst them.”
As my stomach clenches, I slowly place my empty glass onto the bar, shaking my head when Susie went to top it up. I desperately want to drop the Davaro’s from conversation, however, they persist in lingering in my head. Particularly the redhead. “Any chance he’ll come up with the money.”
“None. The house is ours.” The satisfaction in Day’s voice practically rolls off his tongue as he joins us. Flanking me on my left, his back to the bar as he gives the room a sweeping glance. This time I give my full attention to Day, eyeing him up and down. No longer can I keep my curiosity at bay. “Why do you want the house?”
“Are you going to pay Davaro’s tab?”
“Nope. You drew the sucker in. I was just wondering what was so attractive about the house. After all, you don’t normally let anyone get in as deep as Davaro is.”
“All you need to know is Davaro has a debt to pay. And tomorrow. You and Bastian collect against it.” With a smirk lingering at the corner of his lips, Day pushes himself away from the counter.
“Why didn’t you stop it, Bastian?”
“There was nothing to stop you, Leon.”
The room is starting to empty and with a sigh of relief, I rub the back of my neck. Soon I’ll be in my bed, where hopefully I can forget the redhead who for the last few hours has distracted me from my duties. Across the room I spot Flash, a tall woman with blonde shoulder length straight hair. Using her tonight is bound to be a sure-fire way to vanquish the redheaded witch from my thoughts.
Flash has been part of the club for several years. I don’t know anything about her past or how she ended up at The Demon’s Lair. Neither was I curious enough to find out. There was only one thing I wanted from her. The black dress clinging to her lithe body is doing its trick and seeing that I am no longer needed, I grab the giggling whore by the hand and escort her to one of the vacant rooms.
The cabin isn’t large and the bed which occupies most of the room is no larger than a queen. However, it is ideal for what I have in mind. As soon as the door slams shut, I drag Flash into my arms, kissing the woman hard. Our lips clash as we thrust tongues. With a not too gentle shove, I push the woman up against the door, snapping off the excuse of material she calls panties. A quick fumble of my zipper has my cock free, and a search in my back pocket produces a fresh condom packet. Quickly, I remove the wrapper, covering my cock in sure, short swift practiced movements. With several strokes of my fingers, Flash’s pussy grows wet. The way she humps against me is all the warning I need to know she is ready. In one swift sweep, I thrust my hard cock into the wet tunnel, pounding into the woman. With each thrust I make, Flash’s lower body slams against the cabin door and it isn’t long before I find and have my orgasm as Flash groans loudly in my ear as she finds her climax.
Flash pushes me way. “Do you feel better now?”
Ignoring the peevish tone in her voice, I raise my eyes as I shrug my jeans down. “Strip, Flash.”
“Jeez, you’re such a gentleman, Leon. What the fuck has got into you?” As Flash shrugs out of her dress, I finish removing the rest of my clothing. Disposing the used condom as I set several more on the side table. My cock once more rising as Flash comes to stand in front of me. “Well?”
“Shit, Flash, What’s with all the questions. I was horny and had an itch which needed scratching.”
“Are you going to go slower this time?”
Indolently, I stretch out on the bed, cupping my cock as I smile lazily at the naked woman who is in the process of straddling me. “You better have plenty of energy, Flash. Because I intend to go slow several times over.”
“Promise.”

Daisy – The Davaro’s Home Noir Valley
“Poppy do you have to bang the plates?”
“Sorry, Pa.”
As Poppy continues to bang the pans, I know her apology is insincere. Poppy is seventeen going on seventy. Her hair is no longer the same shade of red as mine. Long ago she bleached the color out, and now it shimmers in a multitude of rainbow colors, which she has artfully pleated. Her lip sports a ring, as does her nose and eyebrow. Her ears are decorated with an assortment of earrings and her golden eyes are shaded in smoky black. Her jeans are practically sprayed onto her curved body. The death metal Tee-shirt she wears has seen better days, but she refuses to dispose of it. It was the last item Ma bought Poppy before she died of the cancer.
“Poppy, I have a headache. Please.”
Water splatters over the sink as Poppy once more slams the dirty pan into the bowl. Then she is gone, leaving only Pa and myself in the kitchen. Herbie and Leif had gone fishing at the crack of dawn, and I knew from experience they wouldn’t return until late tonight. They spent as much time away from the house as they could. Lily my eldest sister left Noir Valley four years ago. Occasionally she would ring just to let us know she was still living; however, she has no intentions of returning home. Rosie, my other sister moved in with her latest boyfriend six months ago. And although she still lives in Noir Valley, we rarely hear from her. The only time she graces us with a visit, is when she needs money. If we did see her by chance, it was usually down at the local shops.
Me, well, I am biding my time until I can leave. If my calculations are correct, and the way my savings are going, I should be out of here in just over a year with Poppy. Hopefully by then the boys will have moved on as well. Pa’s escapade last night is the final straw. This was it. There was no more bailing him out of trouble. Not after the money I had set aside for this week’s groceries had been gambled away by the man who is supposed to support us. “Are we going to talk about last night?”
“What do you want me to say, Daisy?”
“I want to know what happened to the promise you made me.”
Pa isn’t an old man. On his last birthday he turned forty-eight to my twenty-three. His blonde hair is still as vibrant as it had been when he first met Ma. We had inherited our red hair from Ma, who had had the temper to match. His once sparkling blue eyes were now faded. He has also lost a lot of weight since Ma’s death five years ago.
“I believed the luck of the gods were on my side last night. Daisy. If you hadn’t turned up when you did. That pot would have been mine. - Instead, you made a fool out of me.”
A heavy sigh escapes me as I glance down at my coffee mug and noticing it is empty, I rise for a refill. “How much do you owe The River Demons?” I know who the Bikers are and what goes on at the riverboat. All of Noir Valley are aware of their activities. Yet most of them turn their eyes away. Pa may have forbidden us from going to the river, or near the riverboat, but no one lives in Noir Valley without knowing who the bikers are or what their business is.
“Not as much as you think. A couple of thousand I guess.”
“A couple of thousand you guess.” From the back street, the hum of bike engines breaks into the silence, and quietly I stroll over to the window and watch as two bikers draw up. Removing their helmets as they dismount from their bikes. One of the bikers I recognize as the man who played cards with Pa the night before. The one who prevented Pa from hitting me in
public. The other biker is unfamiliar to me. He is slightly taller than his partner, but just as wide. His hair in dreadlocks, and just like Poppy, he has several piercings. Yet it is his eyes which draw my attention and from below, the pulse in my clit comes to life. “Pa, why are we getting a visit from a couple of River Demons?” I swing round to Pa and notice his skin has turned a dirty gray. Sweat is scattered across his forehead. One moment he is seated at the kitchen table, the next, he is heading out of the door which led to the hallway.
“Going somewhere, Clarence?” At the sound of the deep gravel, my head spins from Pa to the bikers who have walked in without knocking. The kitchen shrinks as they step further into the room.
“I’m late for work.”
My head continues to swivel between Pa and the bikers. Pa’s lie about work confuses me as he works night shift and isn’t due into work for several hours. The biker with the dreadlocks, lets out a dry chuckle as he pulls out one of the vacant kitchen chairs, placing his large body, encased in low-slung jeans, on to the creaking wood. The subtle sway of his hips draws my attention to the stretched cloth over his groin area. Another chuckle has me raising my eyes. Where I discover his dark brown eyes examining me. More blood rushes to my pussy and I find my hands shaking. “Make some coffee. Babe.” It isn’t a request, it’s an order, and as hard as I try to refuse the stranger, I find myself obeying the biker’s command, cursing myself for being so weak-willed. I wasn’t sure if it was his compelling eyes, or that I was anxious to know why they were at our home. All I know, is I’m not leaving Pa alone with them.
“Daisy leave it and go.”
“I’m not going anywhere, Pa.”
