Helter Skelter: The River Demons Louisiana MC Book 1 Page 2

by Brair Lake

“Now Clarence, don’t you be running the pretty gal off.” The biker is eating me alive, and my hands turn clammy as they itch to reach out and touch him. To discover if he is as solid as he looks. In an attempt to hide my feelings, I place the bikers’ coffees in front of them, spilling some of the liquid when the mugs land harder than I had intended. Then I sit in the only vacant chair. With a small cough, I clear my throat.

“What can we do for you?”

The biker with the dreadlocks, reaches over to play with a loose tendril of hair which has broken free of its confines. His tongue licks his full, light brown lips as his eyes come to rest on my mouth. My breath lodges in my throat as I wait for his answer. “We’ll get around to you soon enough, Babe.”

Shit, was that a threat or a promise. My pants are damp, and I find myself shuffling on my seat in an attempt to ease the heavy throb which grows more demanding each time the biker speaks.

“Leave her alone, Leon. She’s not part of the deal.” My gaze clashes with my father’s and he hides his eyes behind lowered lashes.

“Maybe we should make her part of the deal. After all, your tab increased by a couple of thousand last night.”

Their talk frightens me, and I find myself pushing my chair away as I jump up. Causing the chair to fall to the ground with a loud clatter. “What does he mean, Pa? You said you only owned a few thousand.” The room fills with loud laughter as the bikers erupt into chuckles. The sound grating when Pa refuses to look at me. Panicked by the undercurrent in the atmosphere, I face Pa. “Tell me what’s going on.”

  Chapter 2

Leon – The Davaro’s Home Noir Valley

The refined hint of Daisy’s perfume invades my senses, bringing my cock to life as it twitches behind the confines of my denims. In fact, I’m feeling lightheaded from the blood rush. Up close, the redhead is more lethal than I anticipated, and instead of concentrating on Clarence and his debt, an image of Daisy bent over the kitchen table as I fuck her, invades my senses. With a slight cough, I raise the large mug and sip at the insipid coffee. Shit, it tastes like cat piss, and unable to swallow any more, especially when Bastian snickers, I rise from my seat to pour the lukewarm liquid down the drain. Swiftly, I search the cupboards, find the coffee granules, grimacing at the cheap brand, then make a fresh cup for Bastian and myself.

  “Make yourself at home.”

Turning to the redhead, whose cheeks are rosier than the hair on her head, I flash her my sexiest smile. Crossing my legs in satisfaction when she turns away. Whatever is going on between us, has the woman just as affected as I am. My grin deepens when the hard nipples of her tiny tits push against her thin blue top. Her braless breasts sends more blood pumping to my cock. The stretch of the denim of my jeans is becoming tight, and I triumphantly flaunt the growth of my growing erection. “I am doing, Babe.”

Firebird’s eyes blaze as they turn from amber to gold as she rises from her chair. “Leave. Both of you. Leave now.”

  “Not going to happen, Babe.”

  “Stop calling me. Babe.”

Handing Bastian his fresh coffee, I then place mine on to the table then stride over to the redhead. With her body pushed up against the wall more blood rushes to my cock, and I grasp how tiny she is. How vulnerable she is and turn away from her. I have no intentions of frightening the young woman. No. I want her in my bed, and I want her there, knowing she craves to be there. “How about Firebird?”

Defiant amber eyes flash at me, tempting me to kiss her, and to hell with the consequences. “Daisy. My name’s Daisy and I’d appreciate it if you’d call me by my name.”

The woman has guts, and, in the distance, I hear the devastating sound of a clang. “Daisy. Daisy it is.” With one last look at her, I turn way. Savoring her name in my mouth as I whisper it as I return to the chair I vacated. “Clarence, you know why we’re here.” My gaze is firmly on Daisy’s father, who hasn’t said anything or moved since our arrival. His fingers tapping on the table.

“I need to speak to my children.”

“Too late Clarence. You’ve had a month to sort yourself out and you failed.” Leaning over the table, coming in close to the older man, I whisper harshly. “Now go and get the papers.”

Clarence glances over at his daughter, his shoulders shaking as he rises, leaving us alone with the redhead who is shooting daggers at Bastian and myself. For as long as I can remember, we have willing taken money off anyone who was foolishly enough to gamble with us. Never have I felt any guilt when we went to collect our debts. People willing play with us. Place bets and it is their responsibility to pay us their debt when it is due. Yet this time, I am uncomfortable. We are about to make five people homeless. All because Day has a vendetta against the woman’s father. To make matters worse, I have no idea know what the vendetta is about.

  “What’s going on?”

Brought out of my thoughts I glance at Firebird. “We’re your new landlord.”

“No – Pa owns this house!”

“Not anymore, Babe. Your Pa gambled it away.”

Amber eyes turn to saucers as the color drains from her flesh. Then Daisy spins from the room. Her feet heavy as she runs up the stairs.

  “Leon.”

Ignoring the warning in Bastian’s voice, I turn on him. “Fuck, Bastian. What the hell is Day playing at?”

Bastian’s gaze flickers over my shoulder. “I don’t know. But remember Clarence had a month to get his house in order.”

“Maybe, but the Fucker hasn’t done anything.” With a scrape of the chair legs against the floor as I push it back, I stand and pace the room. As I do a semi spin, a young girl with a paint pallet for hair, stands at the door. Shit, this is getting worse. “Where’s your father?” As I wait for my answer, an argument from upstairs can clearly be heard. Five minutes late, Firebird is back in the kitchen, waving a checkbook at me.

“This is all I have. Take it and let us stay until I find someplace for us to live.”

Fuck, I was drowning and gently I pass the check back to her. “I don’t want your money. You’ve got a month to find somewhere to live.”

  “Leon.”

“Bastian, I’ll square it with Day.”

  “We don’t need your charity.”

“Fuck, Firebird, you may not want it, but you need somewhere to live.”

The midday sun is hot, and I hook my shades over my nose, glancing down the alley. Business is done. In my shirt pocket are the deeds to the house we just vacated. Once more, my glance settles on the small house. Standing at the kitchen window, is my redhead. I have no idea what I was going to do, or how I was going to play this game. I want the woman, and we haven’t got off to a good start.

“Shit, Leon, I hope the fuck you know what you’re doing.”

With a roll of my shoulders, I rev the bike. “Fuck. So do I.”

  “You did fuckin what?”

To say Day is pissed, is to put it mildly. I had handed him the papers, then sprang my news.

“I’ve given the Davaro’s another month to find somewhere to live.”

“And why the fuck did you do that?”

“Because he’s got a crush on the redhead.” Bastian’s voice carries across the room, his beer bottle raised to his lips as he snickers in my direction. The merriment in his golden eyes clear for all to see.

Day runs a hand over his head. His cerulean eyes piercing as he glared at me. “Shit Leon. We’re not a charity.”

“They’ll be gone in a month. The kids shouldn’t suffer just because they’ve got an ass for a father.”

“A month, Leon. Then I want them off my property.”

  “Sure.”

As soon as I was back in my room. Not the one where I’d fucked the whore in the earlier hours of the morning. But to my actual room. I strip out of my clothes and climb into the shower. I give my shoulders a shake as the hot water sprays over my back. Grabbing hold of the plain body wash, I clean my body. While the water pelts down, an image
of Firebird flashes before me and of its own accord, my hand clamps onto my growing cock. I have no idea how Daisy looks naked. Yet in my mind, I can clearly see her naked form. The tuft of red hair at the junction of her legs, covering her juicy pussy. Which I bet she keeps neat and tidy, just like herself. Her waist dipping in slightly and as I drift further up her body, my hand grips hard around my cock as I jerk myself off. Firebird doesn’t have big tits. Yet what she has, begs for my tongue to lick. Sweat trickles down my body as I furiously pump my hand up and down my pulsing cock, and with a loud groan, I release semen on the shower wall and all over my hand. Fuck, the sooner, I have that woman beneath me, the sooner I can get her out of my blood and return to my life.

Daisy – The Library Noir Valley

Four days, it’s four days since we were given the news our house is no longer our home. And in that time, I have scrolled every paper searching for somewhere decent to live. Somewhere which is big enough for Poppy, and the boys, as well as me. What hasn’t helped in my search, is the constant irritation of the biker with the dreadlocks. No matter what I am doing, his face pops up for no reason. Disgusted with myself, and my thoughts, I throw my pen down and glance around the library. It isn’t a large library. We don’t have many members. Our facility mainly caters to the local schools. The emptiness of the room testament to how busy we are. Frustrated with my failure to accomplish my task, I rise from behind the fake walnut panel counter to take a stroll around the room, straightening the occasional book, replacing any which are miss filed.

  “Daisy.”

Turning, I find myself face to face with Herbie, who is a year older than Poppy. His hair is shorn short and, having sprouted in the last few months he now stands several inches taller above me.

“Herbie. Why aren’t you in school?”

“It’s lunchtime. Besides, I want to talk to you without the others hanging around.” Herbie frowns as he glances around the library. “You know how difficult that can be back at the house.”

Wearily I shake my head as I lead my brother to a vacant desk at the rear of the library. Once seated, I look at him expectantly as I wait for him to speak. Herbie leans forward, his face intense as he scrutinizes me. His eyes never wavering from my gaze. “How bad are things, Daisy? Just how bad has Pa messed up this time?”

Placing my hand over his, I stroke the back of his hand, stilling the tremor. “Not as bad as you think.”

“Yeah, but we’re about to lose our home according to Poppy!”

“We’ve already lost it Herbie. We just have to find someplace to live.”

  “Daisy.”

With a pat to his hand, I rise from my seat and give another shake of my head. “Don’t worry about it, Herbie. Go back to school. We’ll be fine. I promise.”

With no plans for lunch and after Herbie’s visit, I know what I need to do. The riverboat is an hour’s drive from town, and when I pull into the makeshift parking lot, there are about a dozen bikes parked near the boat. There were also several bikers loitering around them, chatting as they watched a couple of other bikers kneeling beside their bikes. Slowly I climb out of Jellybean. Jellybean is on ancient Ford, which belonged to Ma, and it was the only thing I inherited from her after her death. The car may be old, at least twenty, but I love her. More importantly, I can rely on her. Tearing my gaze away from the car, I look towards the bikers. The one with the dreadlocks stands out. As he turns, my heart stops as the bottle raising to his lips halts and his dark eyes hold on to mine as he smiles. “Firebird.” His stride is confident and cocky as he comes towards me and my heart tilts as I match him step for step. “I want to speak to your boss.”

  “How about a kiss first?”

  “I wouldn’t kiss you if you….”

“Now, Firebird. There’s no need to be melodramatic. A simple no will suffice – For now” The Biker’s finger rests on my lips, causing me to bite my tongue to prevent myself from licking his fingers. From taking the digit into my mouth. To suck on the flesh. His aroma is surrounding me, and my stomach twitches. Fuck, as I stare at the biker, arousal builds up in me, and I forget why I have entered my enemy’s den. “Are you sure you don’t want a kiss?”

As the Biker’s head lowers to mine, I find myself involuntarily reaching up to his. Just as our lips are about to touch, I break away and shake my body.

“Leon. Why don’t you introduce us?” The husky voice interrupts my dream state, and it is with a strength of reluctance I turn to acknowledge the interloper standing beside my biker. This biker is a couple of inches shorter than mine. His black hair held behind a bandana. Cerulean eyes pierce into me and a roguish smile has me blinking.

“Forget about him, Firebird. Day would eat you up and spit you out.”

“And you. What will you do?”

“Me. Why, I’ll eat you. Then start again.”

The biker’s hand strokes my face. His thumb tender as it brushes over the flesh of my burning cheek.

“Well then isn’t it excellent that I’m not interested in either of you.”

Both bikers chuckle and I forcibly clench my legs together as the pulse beats wildly at my pussy. Dampness gathers in my junction. Speculation enters Damian’s gaze as he continues to study me. The warm welcome slowing receding. “Daisy Davaro. What brings you to the Demon’s Lair.?”

Reluctantly, I break eye contact with my biker to glare into the icy blue eyes of the President of The River Demons. “I want to rent the house.”

Damian threw his head back. The laugher is loud and coarse, causing several heads to glance in our direction. “Leon gave you a month to find a place. Use it.”

Leon. My biker is called Leon. Once more I return to gaze towards the biker with the dreadlocks. Yes, he suited the name. Then I turn back to Damian. “Look, if you let me rent the place. It’ll save you time from looking for new tenants.”

“I want your father out of the house.”

The coldness in his voice has me shivering. However, I am desperate. I just couldn’t leave Poppy and Herbie homeless. “We haven’t seen him since you took ownership of the house.”

Once more cold eyes rake over my body. “Come on.” The dark-haired biker turns his back, leaving me with no choice but to follow him. Leon, my biker, follows behind us. As we stroll towards the gangway, I sense his eyes on my ass. The intense stare has me stumbling. When his hand reaches out to grab my arm. The flesh burns, and my heart forgets how to work. The walk up the plank is long and the room I am led to is small. A desk fills most of the space. When Leon closes the door, I understand why the boat is called Demon’s Lair as a sense of being trapped envelopes me. The biker called Damian, goes behind the desk, and from a drawer, he withdraws a blank piece of paper. Then, without speaking to anyone, he quickly scribbles onto the paper. When he is finished, he silently hands it to me. Swiftly I read what he has written. It’s a basic contract, giving me three months occupation of my home. Only to be renewed if I obeyed his rules. In the contract, he forbids Pa to ever step into the house. My hand doesn’t waver as I sign it. Then Leon and the biker sign the piece of paper. The air leaves my body. I have a home and so do my siblings, even if it is only temporary. “Thank you.”

The cold biker leans forward. His smile finally reaches his eyes, turning them to a warm sea blue. “Don’t thank me. Thank Leon.”

My own glance shifts over to the biker with the dreadlocks. And although I didn’t smile, I did thank him.

  Chapter 3

Leon – Demon’s Lair Noir Valley

The sight of Daisy Davaro’s ass wiggling in her tight gray skirt, as she returns to her beat up dirty blue car does not help to relieve the pressure in my cock. As I follow her with a slow gait, a vison of her in nylons teases me and I wonder what kind she is has on. Were they a pair of pantyhose, or are they thigh highs. The image of Firebird in thigh highs and a pair of skimpy black thongs, isn’t good for my blood pressure. Yet, zealously they are what I hope she is wearing.

“Hang on, Firebird.” Firebird glances up as she is about to grasp the handle of the beat up ford, and her eyes roll at me as I grab her arm. “Look, I know we got off on the wrong foot, but why don’t you come to the club tonight?”

Tawny eyes rove over me, and the familiar sensation of blood pooling in my cock has me smiling. Shit, I need to fuck this woman. When she raises an eyebrow, the chuckle I am failing to control, breaks free. Beneath her sweater I bet her nipples are hard and a damp patch is gathering on the crotch of her flimsy panties. “I…”

“Come on, Firebird… Live.” Firebird glances over my left shoulder and her tongue flickers over her lips. Another blood rush flushes my body. Following her gaze, I groan as I spot Day and Alex watching us. “Firebird?”

  “What time?”

Expecting a tougher battle, I turn startled eyes at the woman, glancing over her body. “Nine.”

  “That’s late.”

  “I’ll collect you.”

“No, it’s okay, I’ll drive myself over.”

I was still standing in surprise as I watch Firebird drive off. Spinning on my heels, I head for my cabin, shit, I need clean bed sheets.

Fuck, it is twenty past nine and Firebird hasn’t turned up. Collecting a JD from the bar, I make my way to the parking lot. As I arrive, a couple of cars pull up, and the beat in my heart increases only for a deep release of air to escape me when neither of the vehicles are Firebird’s.

“Fuck, Leon. Are you going down like Twiggy?”

Unaware Bastian has followed me, I continue to watch the deserted road. Smiling at the mention of Twiggy. Bastian’s cousin has found himself an old lady. One willing to live his nomadic life. Shit, Yvette is a strange, quiet girl, and for his teasing, and that her alliance is with another MC, Bastian is fond of her. Thinking of Twiggy and Devil’s Comfort, has me smiling. Bastian’s sister, Sugar Jay, has run off to claim her man. Which isn’t working out and has Bastian foaming with frustration as the girl refuses to say who her baby daddy is. Ignoring Bastian, I head back to Demon’s Lair.
