Switchin' Lanes (Savage Menaces MC Book 6)

“You can put your backpack in my room if you’d like,” I say once we’re inside. “It’s the third door on the right.”
He walks down the hall toward my room. While I wait for him to come back, I glance around to see if Lolita got the mail. I find a piece of paper with my name on it in her handwriting.
Tink,
I’m sorry I’m telling you this in a letter, but I’m leaving. I can’t stay in Texas anymore. There’s nothing here for me and I haven’t been happy in a long time. Please don’t worry about me. I’ll call you soon.
Lolita
Tears stream down my face. She never once told me she wasn’t happy here anymore. Now that I think about it, she has been working more hours lately. She must have been trying to save up money to leave. I turn around to face Diesel as he walks back into the living room.
“She’s gone. Lolita left.” The tears turn into sobs and Diesel wraps his arms around me. He holds me, letting me cry. After I calm down, he uses his shirt to dry the tears.
“What do you say we do somethin’ to get your mind off this,” he asks.
“What do you have in mind?”
He cocks an eyebrow at me. “Do you like to bake?”
“Yes, but I’m not very good at it.” I laugh.
“Lucky for you, I am,” he says. “Let’s go see what you have.”
I sit at the kitchen table while he rummages through the pantry.
“How do you feel about brownies?” He pulls out a can of cocoa powder.
“I love ‘em. Do we have everything for them?”
“It seems so.” He grabs a few more things out of the pantry before moving to the fridge for butter and eggs. “Do you have a pan we can bake them in?”
“In the drawer under the stove.”
He pulls it out and preheats the oven. “Come over here and let me teach you how to make these.”
I grin and move to his side. “What do I need to do first?”
“Measure out one and a quarter cup of sugar. I’ll measure out the butter.”
We get the sugar and butter measured and move on to the flour and cocoa powder.
Smirking, I flick some flour at Diesel. “Oops.”
He turns toward me with a mischievous grin. “You don’t know what you just started, Pixie.”
Twenty minutes later, the batter is ready and we’re both covered in flour and cocoa powder. He pours the batter into the pan, slides it in the oven, and turns the timer on for thirty minutes.
“Let’s get cleaned up and we can watch a movie or something,” I suggest.
“Good idea,” Diesel agrees. “But first . . . “
He cups my face in his hand, lowering his lips to mine. I place my hand on his chest, parting my lips to let him deepen the kiss. Picking me up by the back of my thighs, he sets me on the counter. He slides his hand into my hair and with a light hold on it, he slips his tongue into my mouth.
The aroma of chocolate assaults my nose. I put both hands on Diesel’s chest and gently push him, breaking the kiss.
“We can’t get too carried away or the brownies will burn,” I whisper.
The corner of his mouth tips up. “Raincheck.”
“Raincheck,” I repeat with a smile. “I’m going to change my clothes real quick.”
“I’ll keep an eye on the brownies.” He winks at me and steps aside so I can slide off the counter. Walking out of the kitchen, Diesel groans behind me. “I hate to see you leave, but I love to watch you go.”
I laugh and shake my head. “You’re so cheesy!”
“But you love it.” He chuckles.
Once in my room, I change into some sweats,a tank top, and toss my hair into a messy bun.
“Your turn to change,” I tell Diesel as I walk into the kitchen.
“Pick something to watch on Netflix while I change.” He kisses my forehead and heads toward my room. I turn the TV on and flip through movies to watch. A couple of minutes later, he comes back into the living room with a new outfit on.
“Did you find something,” he asks.
“Yup! Bad Boys,” I tell him.
“That’s a good one. I’m gonna check on the brownies, then we can start it,” he says.
I grab a blanket off the back of the couch and get cozy.
“The brownies have about fifteen more minutes before they’re done.” Diesel sits next to me. I start the movie and cuddle against him. He wraps his arm around my shoulders. When the timer goes off, Diesel quickly gets them out of the oven and turns it off. He picks me up then lays on the couch with me on top of him. I situate myself so I’m laying between him and the back of the couch, with my head on his chest. Instead of watching the movie, all I can focus on is how nice it is to be so close to Diesel and how good he smells.

Diesel
Once Tink gets comfortable, she lays her head on my chest. The scent of peaches and vanilla assaults my nose. I run my fingers through her hair giving it a light tug. A breathy moan falls from her lips, making my dick hard. She moves her leg up mine, closer to my cock. I clear my throat with a cough.
“The brownies should be cooled off. Want me to get you one,” I ask her.
“Sure, I’d like that.” She sits up, pulling her knees to her chest. I stand and walk into the kitchen. Grabbing a knife, I cut the brownies into even squares. Taking two out, I place them on a paper towel and take them back to Tink.
“They smell amazing,” she says.
“They taste even better.” I sit next to her. Tearing a piece off one, I hold it to her mouth. “Here, try it.”
She smiles before wrapping her lips around the brownie and my fingers. She moans as she pulls her face back.
“Pixie, if you keep moanin’ like that, you’re gonna make me combust.”
Her eyes come to mine, a devilish gleam shining in them. “Is that so?”
“You’re tryin’ to push me to the edge, aren’t you?” I smirk.
“I wasn’t, but I might be now.” She winks.
I set the brownies on the coffee table and turn my body so I’m facing her. “You sure you wanna go there?”
“What would you do if I said yes?”
I slide my hand into her hair, gently pulling her head back. I kiss the corner of her mouth. Moving down, I leave a trail of kisses along her neck and across her collar bone. Placing one last kiss on the front of her neck, I slowly let her hair go. Her breathing is erratic and lust fills her eyes.
“Trying to pull me to the edge with you?” She grins.
“I might be.” I throw her words back at her. She bites her bottom lip.
“Maybe we can pick up where we left off in the kitchen?” There’s an innocence in her tone I’m not used to. I cup the side of her neck in my hand.
“I’d like that a lot.”
She slams her lips against mine and I pick her up, setting her on my lap so she’s straddling mine. Her fingers slide up the back of my head and into my hair, grabbing a fistful. I nip at her bottom lip, earning a gasp from her. She grinds herself against my dick.
“We can move to my room if you want,” she breathes out.
“I want what you want,” I tell her. “so tell me, is it what you want?”
She nods her head.
“I need to hear you say it.”
“It’s what I want,” she says.
I stand, holding her by the back of her thighs and carry her to her room. I know Lolita said she was leaving, but I kick the door closed behind me in case she decides to show up. I lay Tink on the bed softly. She instantly slips her shirt over her head, tossing it to the floor, revealing her luscious tits. I inhale a sharp breath before grabbing the waistband of her sweats, pulling them down. I slip out of my cut, laying it over her desk chair, and pull my shirt over my head, tossing it to the side.
“You are the most gorgeous woman I’ve ever seen.” I admire her body and the confidence fuming off her as she lays on display for me with a smile painted on her face. I grab a condom out of
my wallet and toss it beside her, then kneel on the bed. I kiss the inside of her thigh just above her knee and make my way up. She arches her back the closer I get to her pussy. I pass it, moving to her hips and kissing each of them. I suck her skin into my mouth, leaving a small hickey when I release it.
“Jared,” she moans out. Hearing her say my name makes my dick even harder.
“Tell me what you want, Pixie.”
“Your mouth, on me,” she says.
“Oh yeah?” I kiss across her stomach. “Like this?”
“Lower,” she begs.
I kiss the inside of her thigh, leaving another love mark.
“Too low,” she tells me. “No more teasing, please.”
This time, I go straight for her clit, sucking it into my mouth. I slide a finger in her pussy, checking how wet she is. Slipping my finger into my mouth, I suck her juices off then stand from the bed.
“No,” she whines.
I chuckle.
“Don’t stop, please,” she begs.
“Do you want more of my mouth or something else?” I cock an eyebrow at her.
Curiosity crosses her face. “Something else.”
I grin, sliding my pants and boxer briefs off. Tink grabs the condom, ripping it open. I climb back on the bed, sitting on my knees between her legs. She sits up and slides the condom on my dick.
“Someone’s a little eager,” I tease. Her cheeks turn pink. “You’re sure you want this? You can still change your mind?”
Her hand comes to the side of my face. “I want this. I want you.”
I crash my lips down on hers, guiding her back down. I tease her entrance with the tip of my cock before sliding it in slowly.
“Fuck, Tinsley. You’re so tight.”
“Keep moving, please.”
I do as she says. Moving in and out. Taking her nipple between my finger and thumb, I twist as I keep my hips moving. Her walls contract around my cock and I know she’s getting close. I pump my hips two more times before she’s falling apart beneath me. My release following right behind hers. I kiss her once more, then pull out and fall to the bed beside her. Carefully, I pull the condom off, tie it in a knot, and toss it into the trash can she has by her bed. She maneuvers the blanket so it covers us and cuddles into my side.
“Does this mean I’m your Ol’ Lady now?”
“Do you want to be?”
She hesitates and I know exactly why.
“You’re thinking about Hollywood, aren’t you,” I ask.
“Yeah,” she whispers. “I can’t help it. I care about you both so much.”
“I know. I care about both of you, too,” I tell her. “Honestly, he’s the only guy I would ever share you with.”
“We have that in common. He’s the only person I would ever share you with,” she giggles.
“Then it’s settled. When he comes around, we’ll both claim you.”
“Do you really think he will?” There’s pain in her voice. I recognize it because I feel it, too.
“I hope he does.” I kiss her forehead. “Get some sleep, Pixie.”

Hollywood
This week has been the shittiest week by far. Neither Tink nor Diesel have been around since the BBQ on Sunday. From my understanding, he’s been staying at her house. Lolita up and left without an explanation. We didn’t have our normal Church on Monday since we had an impromptu one on Sunday, so there was no reason for him to be here. The only reason I know about Lolita is thanks to Minx. Being the Prez’s daughter, she knows just about everything there is to know in the clubhouse, unless it’s club business that could put her in harm’s way.
I’ve had a lot of time to think about the last conversation I had with Tink and Diesel. They both admitted to having feelings for me. I already knew Tink did. But Diesel, that came as a shock to me. It’s been weighing heavy on me all week. Tink thinks the three of us being together could work. Neither of them are worried about how the rest of the brothers would react, but neither of them experienced what I did in high school. That’s something I never want to go through again. Though, fighting my feelings for the two of them has been damn near impossible.
Kicks has been acting like he suspects something. If he does, he’s been cool about it. So maybe the rest of the brothers wouldn’t have a problem with it either. Maybe now is a good time to talk to Kicks about it. See what he really thinks about us being together.
As I’m about to leave my room, my phone buzzes. I grab it out of my pocket to check who it is and find a text from Kicks. Weird, considering I was just thinking about him.
From Kicks: I need to go talk to my cousin again. Wanna come with.
To Kicks: Sure. I actually wanted to talk to you about something anyway.
From Kicks: Cool, meet you out front.
I lock up my room and walk through the clubhouse. Some of the cut bunnies and prospects are cleaning the main room in preparation for our weekly party. Prez has been keeping an eye on some hangarounds to potentially recruit as prospects.
Outside, Kicks is already sitting on his bike which happens to be parked right beside mine.
“What’s up, brother?” He says as I get closer.
“What would you say if I told you I liked women and men?”
“I’d say it’s about damn time you decided to own up to it.” He laughs.
“What the fuck you mean?”
Kicks shrugs his shoulders. “I mean, I’ve always had a feeling. I never wanted to say anything because I knew when you were ready, you’d tell us.”
I let out a heavy sigh, relaxing my shoulders.
“This is about Diesel and Tink, ain’t it,” He asks.
I nod my head. “Diesel admitted he has feelings for me. They both do.”
“And?”
“They think the three of us could be together,” I tell him.
“Why the hell not? Y’all already function together perfectly. Well, you did before you started icing them out.”
“What would the rest of the club think?”
“That it’s about damn time you got your head out of your ass.” Kicks chuckles. “Now, come on. I need to go talk to Kara.”
I climb on my bike and start it up. The rumble of the engine is music to my ears. The ride to the hospital is short but sweet. Any time on my bike is time well spent.
“She’s here visiting her boyfriend,” Kicks tells me as we walk into the hospital.
“Is he still in a coma?”
“Yeah. Nothin’ has changed with him,” he says.
We come to Kara’s boyfriend’s room. Kicks raps his knuckles on the door frame to announce ourselves.
“Come on in,” Kara says.
“How’s he doin’ today,” Kicks asks.
“Same as yesterday. No improvements, no worse,” she tells us.
I turn to get a look at her boyfriend and my heart drops.
“Andy,” I mutter.
“How do you know his name,” Kara asks me.
“I know his sister.”
“Wait, Andy Wilson?” Kicks is holding his charts. “As in Tink’s brother?”
“Yup.”
His eyes shoot to mine. “Did she even know he was in town?”
“If she did, she would be here right now,” I say. “I have to go tell her.”
“Go. She deserves to have someone tell her in person,” Kicks tells me.
I hurry out of the hospital as quick as I can without breaking into a run. I hop on my bike and take off. Naturally, with me being in a hurry, I get stopped by every red light between the hospital and Tink’s house. When I get there, Tink’s car is the only one in the driveway. I worry briefly that she won’t be home. I check my phone before I climb off my bike. I have one unread text.
From Kicks: I gave Prez a heads up. He doesn’t want her working tonight.
Sliding my phone back in my pocket, I walk up the stairs to the front door. I ring the doorbell and wait. A minute later, Tink opens the door wearing le
ggings and a Savage Menaces MC shirt that’s way too big on her. It probably belongs to Diesel.
“Oh, hey Hollywood.” She’s shocked to see me and I don’t blame her.
“I’m sorry if I interrupted anything, but I need to talk to you. Can I come in?”
“Yeah, of course.” She steps to the side, letting me walk in, then closes the door.
“When’s the last time you talked to your brother,” I ask her.
She mulls it over. “It’s been at least a month, why?”
“I think you should sit down for this,” I tell her.
She eyes me suspiciously but sits anyway.
“There’s no easy way to tell you this, but he’s in the hospital. Here in town,” I say.
“What? Is he okay?”
I shake my head. “No, he’s in a coma. A side effect from some drug he started using.”
Tears pour down her face. “H-how long has he been there?”
“I only found out it was him today, but he’s been there since Sunday. He’s dating Kicks’cousin Kara,” I explain.
“Which means he’s been in town for a while and never told me.” Seeing her in pain and crying hurts me deep. I don’t know what to do so I pull her close to me, holding her while she cries. “The only reason he wouldn’t call is because he didn’t want me knowing he was into drugs again.”
Her crying gets worse.
“I need to call my mom,” she says between sobs. “and I still need to get ready for work.”
“You don’t need to do either. Bull wants you to take the night off and you can call your mom after you’ve calmed down some. Why don’t you lay down and I’ll go make you some tea?”
She nods her head and does as I suggest, while I go into the kitchen to make her a cup of chamomile tea. Once it’s ready, I take it out to her. I set it on the coffee table, close to her, then take a seat on the edge of the couch by her legs.
“Let it cool down some before you try to drink it,” I warn her.
