Foreword
This book isn’t light and fluffy and filled with rainbows and butterflies. It’s dark. There are dark themes, including violence and abuse in many ugly forms. Any chapter has the potential to trigger readers.
If you are easily triggered, or frown on the darker situations in life, I urge you to navigate away now. Once you start this book, there’s no going back.
You have been warned.

Prologue
Fox
I fisted her hair, jerking her head back.
“Fox,” she rasped, reaching out for me. “Please—”
“Don’t touch me,” I snarled, gripping her hair harder. She let out a whimper as she stared up at me with wild, lust-filled eyes. “You want me to fuck you?”
“Y-yes,” she whimpered again.
I released her and tossed her roughly to the floor. The thought of burying myself inside her made me sick to my stomach. She was a fucking coffin for my dead soul. All I could think about was Rosalie. She hadn’t spoken to me since shit went down with Juliet. She’d blocked me on social media. Threatened to call the cops on me if I kept pounding on her door. Wouldn’t even look at me. And the guys? It took them a week to speak to me.
I fucked up. Bad.
I glared down at Juliet as she struggled to sit up, her mascara smeared in ugly, black blotches on her cheeks, her breasts barely in her red bra.
“You going to fuck her or what?” Cole asked lazily from his leather chair in his living room as he sipped a glass of whiskey.
“You can,” I grunted, going to the bar in the corner and pouring myself a drink.
Cole scoffed and sat forward, his blue eyes locked on Juliet. Ever since Rosie had left us, we’d made sure to stick to the bargain we had with Juliet: Fuck her and make her our queen over anyone else, and she’d keep all the stolen videos she had of Rosie tucked away. She wouldn’t release them and ruin Rosie’s life. As a bonus, she wouldn’t release our notebook to the world and hurt the other girls. Pretty sure my full ride to Mayfair on a football scholarship would be ripped away from me if things got out. The disappointment at that alone would tear my old man to shreds.
I ground my teeth at the thought of all of it, especially Rosalie getting hurt. I’d been haunted by the look on her face since she walked away from me that day. Being blackmailed by Juliet seemed a fitting punishment for our atrocities. Who would’ve thought a bit of fun could ruin so many lives?
Looks like the tables have turned.
We were stuck between a rock and a hard place. We’d lost Rosie, but we could still preserve her innocence. We were helpless though, at least until we figured out what to do about Juliet. This feeling of utter uncertainty was well-deserved, considering we’d done it to Rosie weeks ago.
Guess that had backfired on us.
I’d made the stupid fucking mistake of breaking up with Juliet and not informing my dad. While I was at Cole’s, she’d stopped by, citing she’d left her bag in my room. My dad, being a nice guy, allowed her into my room where I kept the backup videos of Rosalie. I didn’t even know why I had them. Now, Juliet had everything that could ruin Rosalie.
I didn’t give a shit about us being screwed over it. I worried for my girl. My sweet Rosie. She didn’t deserve any of this shit. I swore to protect her from the monsters, and there I was, becoming one. I hated myself for it. I hated the gnawing pain in my chest that wouldn’t fucking go away. I hated I couldn’t be with her. That I couldn’t hold her or kiss her or get her to just listen to me. I wanted her to understand I didn’t love Juliet. That she, Rosalie, had my heart. She was all I wanted. But to save her from my mistakes, I had to hurt her.
I had no intention of using those videos on her. I might have been an asshole to her initially, but I’d become a different person once I’d let my own shit go. I should’ve deleted the videos. It was a bad move on my part. Juliet copied them, and now, there we were in a whole heap of shit.
“Come here, you fucking bitch,” Cole spat.
Juliet crawled across his floor to him, her eyes hooded. None of the guys wanted her. But she had to be queen at everything. She’d known about the notebook from the beginning. She knew we all wanted Rosalie. It drove her nuts knowing that someone like Rosie won our hearts instead of her.
And this was our punishment.
Juliet stopped at Cole’s feet as Enzo, who’d been quiet the entire time, got to his feet. Ethan quietly drank in the corner, looking down at the floor.
“You want my dick so bad, then fucking suck it,” Cole snapped at her.
“Why are you such an asshole?” she huffed, rising to her knees and resting her hands on his thighs.
“You can’t be that stupid,” Cole snorted. “I could be buried in a tight pussy right now, instead all I have is you.”
Juliet’s cheeks flushed at Cole’s crude words. This would be the first time we’d all be with her as per her demands. Hell, it would be my first time with her. She’d always held out on me when we’d dated, offering me weak blow jobs while I’d fingered her. Now I knew why. She wanted to be the one we worshipped. She’d been running her own game, the bitch.
I swallowed my glass of whiskey and took a hit from the joint I lit, my eyes focused on Cole as he stared at Juliet, disgust on his face. My heart went out to my friends. I’d gotten us into this mess with her and, in the process, had lost us Rosie.
It had hit us all hard. While I knew it fucked my world, it was Cole who’d lost his s
hit first. I can still hear his anger now from that day a week ago …
“What the fuck is the matter with you? How could you fuck us like this?” Cole snarled, his eyes wild. He fisted his hair as he stared helplessly at me.
“I trusted her—”
“It’s fucking Juliet, you dumb fuck!” Cole shouted, his face red, spit flying from his mouth as he stormed around his living room.
Enzo looked on from his spot in the leather chair as Ethan chewed his thumbnail, his head down.
“The only thing you can trust about that bitch is that she’ll royally fuck you over! How the hell did Rosalie even get the fucking notebook?” He stopped his angry march long enough to glare at me.
“I don’t know. Whoever took it knew how to use it.”
“We need to find out and beat the shit out of whoever it was,” Cole spat. He kicked at an end table before grabbing it and pitching it across the room. It burst into splinters against the wall.
“Relax, Cole,” Enzo called out. “We need to figure this shit out, not destroy the damn house.”
“Fuck the house and fuck you,” Cole shouted back, his face going from red to purple.
Ethan finally looked up, his eyes bloodshot. “You’re not the only one who lost her, you know. We’ll fix it.” My heart clenched. Ethan had legitimately given a damn about Rosie right from the start. He was a bleeding heart like that. Always kind. Always trying to find the bright side and make things better.
“You can’t fix everything, Ethan! Not even you can with your fucking emotions and tears.”
“Fuck you, Cole,” Ethan snarled. “At least I have a grip on my shit.”
“For now,” Enzo murmured, glancing at Ethan. “But what are you going to do if this is permanent, and she won’t talk to us?”
Ethan let out a sigh and looked away, a muscle thrumming along his jaw.
“That’s what I thought.” Cole let out a bark of deranged laughter, his blonde hair a mess. He looked certifiably insane as his body shook.
“We need a plan,” I said calmly. “We should try to talk to her.”
“Oh, hey, you fucking genius. Let’s see how that works.” Cole stopped laughing and yanked his phone out and hit send on Rosalie’s name. We all waited as he put it on speaker, the ringing like death knocking with every pulse.
“You’ve reached Rosalie. I’m not here right now, so leave a message!”
Cole ran his hand over his face and hung up only to hit redial. He did this several times before eventually his calls went straight to voicemail. With an angry snarl, he heaved his phone across the room where it shattered and fell to the floor.
“It’s over,” Cole breathed out, glaring at me.
“We’ll fix it,” I assured him, my throat tight. “Like Ethan said, you’re not the only one who lost her—”
“Yeah? What the fuck are you going to do to fix it, Fox? You were so fucking eager to let her go in the beginning. Maybe this is just part of your mental fucking bullshit—”
“Fuck you,” I snarled, shoving him.
He shoved me back. Enzo was on his feet, jumping between us.
“I’ve loved her for as long as I’ve known her.” I glared at my friend, ready to beat his ass.
“Me too,” Cole shot back, breathing hard. He walked away, fingers in his hair.
We all watched him for a moment before he stormed back, his face red. He let out a yell before his fist connected with the glass coffee table, shattering it. Blood streamed in angry red rivers down his arm as he glowered at me.
“Fucking fix it, Fox. I-I can’t lose her.”
I shook the memory out of my head. I hadn’t known how much my love for Rosalie would grow. I hadn't anticipated any of this shit. I’d been careless, letting Juliet get too close. Trusting her when I knew I shouldn’t. I’d been fighting my feelings for Rosie for years. Ever since my mom died. From the moment the earrings Rosalie had mentioned were given back to us with Mom’s possessions. The whole reason Mom was out to begin with for Daniel Hall to hit while driving drunk. Because she went out to get Rosalie a special birthday present, Ian’s dad was able to plow his car into her. She never saw it coming. Thankfully, Cole’s dad was able to win a conviction, sending the asshole to prison for a few years. Unfortunately, he was up for parole in a few weeks and would be free to ruin someone else’s life.
Life just wasn’t fair sometimes.
For years, I’d blamed Rosalie for my mom’s death. I took another hit from the joint and closed my eyes, seeing Rosie’s pretty face in my mind’s eye. Flawless porcelain skin. Bright green eyes surrounded by thick, black lashes. Full, pink, pouty lips. Lips I couldn’t get enough of. Those large breasts and narrow waist which gave way to that sexy hip flair. I imagined twining my fingers through her thick, red curls. How she’d whisper my name, her nails in my back as I thrust inside her tight body.
“Give me some,” Enzo grunted, taking the joint from me and inhaling deeply.
We were quiet for a moment. I tore my eyes away from Juliet who had her mouth around Cole’s dick. His mouth was turned down into a frown as she bobbed up and down on him.
If we were grading her in the book, her dick sucking skills would be barely a one.
“Ethan, you cool?” Enzo called out.
Ethan didn’t acknowledge him. He took another drink before pulling out a bottle of pills, spilling one into his waiting hand. He popped it into his mouth and washed it down with his whiskey. Ethan had anxiety and was a recovering addict. It wasn’t a widely known fact by others, but we knew it. If Ethan was drinking and popping pills again, then something was seriously wrong because Ethan was always the straight-laced one of us. Falling back into his old ways was something he struggled to overcome. He had issues he didn’t like to talk about. Issues we were aware of but didn’t press him on.
“Want some of this?” Enzo tried again, offering Ethan the joint.
Ethan’s green eyes flicked from Enzo’s face to the joint before he shuffled to his feet and came to us, seizing what was offered and taking a hit.
“I’d rather you suck my dick than her,” Ethan grunted, blowing out smoke, his eyes fixed on Cole and Juliet.
Cole had his phone out and was looking through it as Juliet continued her attempt at a blow job.
“If it got us out of this fucking nightmare, I’d slob your knob right now,” Enzo answered, sneering in Juliet’s direction.
Juliet released Cole’s dick with a loud popping noise. He lifted a brow at her from over his phone.
“I can hear you,” Juliet called out, looking over at us, her mouth set in a pout that may have worked on me months ago but did nothing for me now. “Maybe you should suck Ethan’s dick, Enzo.”
Enzo paled. Ethan shifted where he stood. Juliet got to her feet and sashayed over to us, a wicked glint in her dark eyes.
“I actually like that idea. You two sucking each other off.”
“Juliet,” I growled. “We’re not gay.”
She let out a soft laugh. “Prove it. Choke on Enzo’s dick. Maybe I’ll let you all off the hook early. If you don’t, maybe I’ll just send this video you guys so graciously took of Rosalie off to her daddy. I’m sure he’d love to see what his daughter has been up to. Heard he’s a real prick.”
“You’re going too far, Juliet,” I murmured. “We’ll fuck you, but we aren’t going to fuck one another.”
“We could kill you and be done with it,” Ethan snarled, his green eyes filled with storm clouds.
I stared at him. In that moment, he looked like he could rival me and Cole for dark thoughts.
“You’re fucked up, Juliet,” Enzo snapped.
“What’s wrong, Lorenzo, you too insecure to suck off Ethan?” Juliet reached out and rubbed Ethan’s crotch.
In a move that surprised me, Ethan shoved her hard. Ethan was the gentle one of us four. The caring one. The one Rosie had dubbed sweet. To see him get handsy meant he was pissed.
Juliet stumbled back and landed on her
ass with a thump. Cole watched interestedly from his chair, a smirk on his lips. We didn’t intervene when Ethan moved forward and fisted her hair, angling her head to the side. Juliet let out a gasp, wincing beneath his hold.
“You. Disgust. Me,” Ethan hissed, tugging her hair harder. Tears filled Juliet’s eyes as she stared up at him. “The fact you’re trying to force us to fuck you makes you the vilest piece of shit I’ve ever dealt with.”
“But you did it to other girls. You did it to Rosalie—”
“We never did this to girls. We played around. They were willing. Had they said no, then we'd have walked. We liked Rosalie too much to force her. She did what she wanted, when she wanted, with who the fuck she wanted.” Ethan released her hair and moved his hands to her throat where he squeezed. Her eyes widened, her cheeks reddening from the pressure.
Enzo cast me a worried look. I took a step forward, not even sure if I wanted to stop Ethan from potentially choking her out. I cast a glance at Cole who wore a dark smile as he lazily drank his whiskey.
“And the difference between you and Rosalie is that we genuinely gave a shit about her. You? I’d enjoy watching the light fade from your eyes as you choked on my dick.”
“Ethan,” she rasped, reaching out for him as he tightened his grip.
