Rogue Affair

Page 23

by Rhys Everly

Every swirl of his thumb, every trace of his touch made me feel alive. It gave me purpose and meaning. For the first time in my life, I had both. He’d given me both. Both with his words and his actions. And for the first time in an eternity, I felt like I deserved his affection. His attention. His need.

He pulled away, but only by inches to gaze into my eyes, his own blurred and narrow.

“What have you done to me?” he asked me. “I can’t stop touching you, feeling you, being with you.”

I should have felt like this was a dream. I should have pinched myself. This had only ever happened in my dreams, never in real life. Not even after we first kissed.

But it was real, and I knew it in my heart.

“Welcome to my world,” I grinned, and he smiled.

“Where have you been hiding all this time?” he asked, his hand gently slapping my cheek.

I couldn’t stop looking at the dark blue of his eyes. I could get lost in them. Happily.

“I’ve been here all along. I’ve just been stupid.”

  “So have I,” he said.

He pulled away from me so suddenly, it felt like a blow to the stomach. But his hand pulled me with him.

“Let’s get out of here,” he said. “I want to do things to you that can’t be done out in the open.”

He dragged me to his car, but instead of taking me to the passenger seat, he took me to the back.

As soon as we were both in, we were lying on the seat, our lips reunited, our boners grinding against one another.

Nathan fisted his hands around the hem of my T-shirt and pulled it off me. I did the same with his.

When my fingers fiddled with the button of my jeans, he grabbed my hands and pulled them away.

He crawled down me, snaking his tongue along the middle of my chest, down to my stomach, all the way to the jeans, and he unbuttoned me.

I helped him take the jeans and the underwear off until I was completely naked and then his lips wrapped around me, the warmth of his mouth making my balls squirm in need.

I watched him suck me, his eyes pinned on mine, too.

He used his tongue to lick my taint and my balls while his fist pumped my cock, then took my tip in his mouth again and pushed his tongue over my slit, teasing the precum out of me.

I knew that because when he pulled away, a silver trail followed his lip until it popped, and he climbed back to me for a kiss.

  “Fuck me,” he begged.

“Are-are you sure?” I asked. “Last time—”

“Fuck last time. Last time I was being an idiot. I want you in me,” he said, voice trembling. “I’ve been wanting this for so long.”

“If you’re sure,” I checked again, searching his eyes for confirmation.

He hesitated a moment, pulling away.

“Unless you don’t want to. If you’d rather wait. I know you’ve never had sex before, so I don’t want to pressure you,” he said.

“You’re not. I just want to make sure—”

“Stop being so nice, Hudson, and just fuck me already,” Nathan snapped and squeezed my cheeks with his hand.

“Okay.” I smirked, and he planted another wet kiss on my lips before letting me go.

He crawled out of his pants until he was naked, too, and he licked his hand before running it through his crack.

“Can-can I?” I asked him, my gaze darting to his ass.

I might never have done it before, but it wasn’t like I’d never fantasized about it. Licking him clean, me in him. Him in me. We’d done everything. In my head. And now we were about to do everything in real life too.

Nathan smirked and sat between my legs. I pulled them back and readjusted in the seat, with both his dick and his hole in front of me.

I took his cock in my hand and buried my nose and mouth in his crack, my tongue stroking his ring. He smelled good. He smelled musky, spicy, and manly. And he tasted just as divine.

I teased his entry with the tip of my tongue and a groan crawled out of him as he searched for my head and pulled at my hair when he found it.

My hands wrapped around his legs and pressed him closer to me, if there was any closer than that, and I massaged his hole with my tongue, gathering saliva to smear over every inch of him.

Both of his hands were now on my head keeping me in position. Not that I was going anywhere, anyway.

When his rim was wet enough, I used my fingers to open him up and pushed my tongue inside his hole, spreading more spit in him to prepare him for my dick.

I blew hot air on him, and he shivered as I re-inserted my tongue in him. I repeated the same thing, over and over, blowing on him and eating his ass until he was crying for it. For me. For me in him. He squeezed his legs around my head, and I took a deep breath.

“I didn’t know you had a kinky side,” I said to him when he released me.

“Me neither,” he groaned, biting his lip. “I’m sorry.”

“No,” I said and moved up to kiss him. “I like it.”

He hummed in my mouth, and my cock twitched, craving the attention.

I pulled back and put my hand in front of his mouth.

  “Spit on it,” I said.

He cocked his head ever so slightly, but he did.

“Again,” I said, and he did.

I took my hand and ran it up and down my cock, spreading his spit around my tip and length, then pressed my cock against his rim, and he let out a yelp.

Seeing the pain in his eyes, I pulled back and asked him to spit on my hand once more and tried again.

When I pushed my tip into him, he gasped, taking quick, short breaths. I took it slow to give him time to adjust to my thickness.

I needed a moment, too, anyway. He was so tight I could have come without even another stroke. But he was insatiable, and he wanted more of me. And I of him.

I pulled out again and reapplied more spit. Both his and mine.

“We should probably be doing this with lube,” I said.

“Well, we ain’t got none. Only what God gave us. And I’m not quitting now,” Nathan said and pulled me down to assault my mouth.

As he tongued me, I pushed into him again, the groan he let out in my mouth, making me hungrier, hornier. Making me push further into him.

We got into a rhythm, and he never took his eyes off mine, never let my face go from his hands as I fucked him, slowly at first, but then faster. Harder.

Each stroke made me feel closer to him. To his soul and to his heart. Each stroke gave me more strength to keep going. For him. To make him happy.

I’d happily spend the rest of my life doing anything I could to put a smile on his face. I’d give him everything I had to give him the future he deserved. To be the man he wanted in his life.

“Come for me, baby,” he moaned, and as with everything else from now on, his wish was my command.

I thrusted and bit down on his lower lip and went faster until I could feel the need clawing out of me, then I pulled out of him at the last minute and spilled my seed on his dick and his stomach, some even shot up to his chin.

His eyes never moved from mine as I took hold of his own hardness and pumped him. I used my cum as lubricant and stroked him, my palm tight around him, wanting him to unwind under my touch.

He rolled his eyes in pleasure, and before he came, I bent down and took his dick in my mouth, sucking him dry as he released in my mouth. This time I didn’t let it dribble from my mouth. I swallowed every single drop of his taste. I never wanted any part of him to go to waste ever again.

When I looked up, his smile was lighting up the darkness around us.

What had I done to deserve this? What had I done to deserve him looking at me so longingly, so passionately?

“I love you,” I told him. “So much.”

He rested one hand on my face as he said, “I love you, too.”

  Thirty-Four

  Nathan

  I loved him.

  I loved Hudson.

It was simple as that.

He had everything that was perfect about himself and everything that was perfect about Sweet_Peaches.

I couldn’t hurt him because I was in love with the same person. And he wouldn’t hurt me because he was in love with me.

All that time I’d been denying what I knew deep down. That I wanted Hudson with all my being.

The kind, shy sweetheart he’d been since I started tutoring him. The passionate asshole that had sucked me in the college library bathroom. The witty man behind Sweet_Peaches.

  “I need a drink,” I told him.

“Was I that bad?” he asked.

I gave him a side glance as he sat up on the backseat and smirked.

“Lesson number one Sweet Peaches. A beer is for any occasion. Tearfest movie marathon? Check. Heart broken by an asshole? Check. Post-coitus tipple—”

“Check,” he said before I managed to. “Got it. Where did you have in mind?”

“Well,” I said. “The best places really are in New Harlow, but since we’re here...”

I got dressed as well and drove us back to town, the silence in the car for once familiar and heartwarming. Like I was with a friend.

  Because I was.

I drove to a side street by the end of Main Street and parked the car there, then dragged Hudson to the only place in town Dad would never step foot in.

“The Beer Residency?” he asked, reading the sign outside the little nook that had only opened three months ago and attracted most of the young residents of our not-so-sleepy small town.

“Yup,” I said. “Have you been?”

He shook his head as I went inside, and he followed behind me.

“I think you’ve missed the part where everyone hated me for the better part of four years,” he said. “Including you.”

“I never hated you,” I said.

He raised his eyebrow, piercing me with his hot gaze, and I pouted.

“Okay, maybe I did. I don’t now,” I said and attempted to lace my fingers through his.

He gave my palm a squeeze, but pulled away just as the hostess came over and took us to a little two-by-two, cheap table.

She set down a simple sheet of printer paper with their beer selection and walked off to get us some water.

There were plenty of tables inside, the majority of them big tables filled with young students home for the weekend.

“Why didn’t I know about this place until now?” he asked while looking at the menu.

“Because it’s a college concept in a non-college town. They’ve been trying to rent the building next to it for the past year, but no luck,” I said.

  “Isn’t that Vaughn’s store room?”

“Vaughn’s old store room. She’s got plenty of space in the back of her grocery store since the expansion. She just doesn’t want to rent the space because the owners are out-of-towners,” I said.

The Beer Residency was a tiny box room that could fit a maximum of forty people—if you squeezed in next to each other—but which only ever had twenty people at any time. It was popular, but the space restriction was a turn-off for a lot of the residents who were used to ample space while enjoying their private drink.

“And Indian,” the waiter said as he stopped at our table, setting our jug down. “You forgot Indian.”

“Rohan,” I said when I looked up, and I got on my feet to give him a hug. “Rohan, this is my... friend Hudson.”

Only he was so much more than that now, wasn’t he? Well, I hoped he was. Did we really need to say it to each other? Ask each other? Hadn’t we been dancing around each other long enough to know, without speaking it out loud, that we were dating.

“Nice to meet you, Hudson,” Rohan said and shook his hand. “I see you finally decided to honor us with your presence,” he said to me.

“I’m sorry. It’s been a hell of a few weeks.”

“How is Maya? Luke told me what happened,” he asked.

  “She’s good. Recuperating,” I said.

“Tell her not to let any man make her feel like shit. We’re not worth it.” He laughed. “What can I get for you?”

A glance at Hudson, and I saw the panic in his eyes.

That was probably another reason why the Residency hadn’t become more popular with more people. The Belgian beers they were having imported, along with the ones they had shipped from out-of-state craft breweries, meant the prices were less than appealing.

“We’ll have two Leffes,” I said to Rohan, and he nodded before leaving us alone again. “It’s my treat.”

  Hudson looked up and grimaced.

“This place isn’t cheap,” he said.

“That’s why I want to open my own brewery one day. So that I can create affordable but fucking great craft beer for the area,” I said.

“That’ll be cool,” he said. “I love beer. And you. So just about perfect.”

I couldn’t help the smile that made my cheeks hurt. Now that I’d pulled my head out of my own ass, that was all I wanted to hear come out of his lips.

“Good, ‘coz it looks like I’m short a friend,” I said with a wink.

“I’m sorry about Kyle and your dad,” he said, reminding me of what I’d witnessed not so long ago. “That’s so weird. Is your dad bi?”

“I don’t care what he is. He’s definitely dead to me,” I said.

  “That’s harsh,” he said.

“Is it? Really? He slept with my friend,” I said.

“I thought you said you caught them kissing. How do you know they’ve slept together?”

“Trust me, I could tell,” I said. The images that infiltrated my head at the thought of them together needed cleansing.

Preferably with my own hunk in bed.

But short of that, beer would have to do. For now, anyway. The night was still young.

“Well, I don’t see why your dad is getting all the flak. Kyle consented to it as well,” Hudson said.

“And he’s dead to me, too,” I said.

Hudson narrowed his eyes and pierced me with his gaze.

“Really? You’re not even gonna let your best friend explain why, how, and what?”

“I know why, how, and what,” I said.

  Hudson raised his eyebrow again.

“How do you know? Are you a mindreader, too?”

“What is there to explain?” I asked him, and Rohan chose that moment to step in with our order.

“How it happened. Why they let it happen. And what they were thinking. I mean, how do you know they don’t care for each other?” he asked.

“They barely know each other. They’ve only just met,” I said.

“So... is that what you’re going to do with me when I make a mistake? Just cast me out and not give me a chance to explain?” he asked, making patterns in the condensation on his glass, his gaze focusing on the beer foam rather than on me.

Was that what this was all about? Was that what he was scared of?

“I’ve known you my whole life,” I said.

“You’ve known your dad your whole life,” he said.

“It’s not the same,” I said.

  “Isn’t it?”

“You’re making it sound like you’ve made a mistake already,” I said.

“No. But I will. I’m bound to get something wrong. Maybe it will be a small thing. Maybe it’ll be something big.” He shrugged.

“I’ll always let you explain yourself,” I said, trying to put an end to those insecurities.

“Then why don’t you extend the same kindness to your dad and Kyle?”

He had a point. And now I was starting to doubt whether this whole conversation was about him, but more about me forgiving Dad and Kyle. Hudson had shown incredible empathy for everyone in his life since I’d reconnected with him. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was him trying to get me to do what’s right.

Just like Sweet_Peaches would have done.

“Fine. I’ll talk to them. Happy?”

  He s
hrugged, a smirk desperately trying to make its way on his face that he was forcing not to show.

“Now, lesson number two, Sweet Peaches,” I said. “You always tell Mr. Romantic the truth.”

I took a sip of my beer, and he watched me until I set the glass back on the table.

“Why didn’t you tell me it was you? Why now?”

I didn’t much care about that, not anymore, but if he was going to tease me, then I was going to return the favor.

“I wanted to. I didn’t want to keep lying to you. But after what happened that night, what you said and how conflicting it was with what you’d shown me, I wanted to know if I, Hudson, had a chance.”

“And what was the verdict?” I asked, moving my foot to rest it on his.

“That you overthink everything,” he said.

I bumped my knee against his and put my evil grin on to let him know he was going to pay for that later.

  He didn’t seem to mind.

“What made you change your mind tonight?”

“You were hurting. You needed a friend. And I wanted to be there for you. As a friend,” he said.

“Oh, I’m sorry. Does that mean I seduced you to... fuck me?” I said, whispering the last words.

The neighboring tables didn’t need to know my preferred sexual position, or what we’d just done.

  Hudson smiled and nodded.

“Yes. Yes, I think you did. It was very rude,” he said. “But I’ll forgive you.”

I picked up my beer to hide my smile and took a sip.

“If you blow me later,” he added, and my beer came back right out.

“Look who’s outgrown their shyness again,” I said.

“What can I say?” He shrugged. “You bring out the best in me.”

I laughed dismissively and brushed his statement off.

“You do. If it weren’t for you, I’d have never written another word in my life. And I wouldn’t have a published article,” he said.

I’d almost forgotten in the middle of all the chaos, kissing, and sex.

“Fuck. Yes. Congratulations,” I said and raised my beer.

He mimicked me and waited for my toast.

“To an even more creative future,” I said.
