Fae Games

As I walked toward the back door, both princes followed me with their gazes. Not the discreet corner-of-the-eye stare but the full-on, head-swiveling movement that made it obvious they were ‘checking me out,’ as that short girl used to say on Jersey Shore.
Sending a verbal message to my wings to stop pulsing with delight, I pulled back my shoulder and sashayed forward with a swing of my hips. This, I believe, was called ‘working it.’
“You look beautiful enough in that uniform,” said Prince Rory with a growl that sent tingles across my skin.
Prince Caulden huffed. “The objective is to find Unity an appropriate costume, not ogle her legs.”
“Then why are you staring at them?”
I stepped through the door, and it clicked shut behind me, muffling Prince Caulden’s retort.
The white-haired faerie curtseyed. “My Lady—”
“Please, call me Unity.”
“Of course, My Lady Unity. My name is Moxie, and I will be guiding you through today’s fitting.”
I exhaled a frustrated breath through my nostrils. If only she knew what I was beneath the faerie exterior. She would probably have a fit so severe it would shake off her white sprinkles.
“Prince Caulden sent a mirror message earlier to book the spot.” Moxie strode through a hallway with fuzzy mauve walls that reminded me somewhat of Pokeweed. “I was going to take a few minutes to adjust some garments to your size, but Prince Rory already provided me with your measurements.”
“Oh.” My cheeks burned. If anyone knew about the size of my assets, it would be the faerie who had let me sit on his face. “What’s first?”
“Now, we retire to the fitting room.” She opened another door, letting out the scent of wildflowers, and stepped into a gorgeous boudoir.
Mirrors covered all the walls with ivory curtains breaking up the blankness. A single chaise with an embroidered, ivory frame and plush upholstery formed the only furniture in the fitting room, giving it the appearance of austere majesty.
I glanced down at the patterned marble on the floor that reflected the diffused light of the crystal chandeliers and gulped. Not even the people in my DVDs got changed in places this grand.
Four dresses hung on the wall. One matched my golden hair, another shimmered like the stars, and the third was a mix of the purple and blue of my wings. The fourth appeared utterly transparent, making me scowl. Did she expect me to parade before the king and queen in the nude?
“My Lady Unity!” Moxie rushed to the fourth dress and held the fabric to her body. “This is Emporium, which is favored by Queen Titania.”
The fabric turned an opaque white that matched the dusting of shimmering powder on the faerie’s wings. I tilted my head to the side. “Does it change depending on the wearer?”
“Just so, My Lady,” she said with a nervous smile. “And a little bit more. Would you like to try it on?”
“Why not?” I slipped off my blazer, and Moxie placed it on a clothes hanger, which she suspended on an invisible wall peg. Bras weren’t part of the academy’s uniform or very common here on the Isle of Fae, so I took off my shirt and stood topless.
Not that I spent much time ogling this new body, but I swore my breasts were perkier and the nipples a darker pink.
Moxie stared down at the ground, her wings flapping so fast they buzzed. “You must also remove your pantalettes, or the garment’s magic won’t work.”
I glanced over my shoulder at the door. I wasn’t a prude or anything, but after exposing myself to the entire student body of the Royal Fae Academy, I was in no mood to give anyone else a free show. And why the fuck was this faerie getting excited?
“The room is perfectly secure,” she said with a squeak. “It’s the same configuration as the one used by Her Majesty.”
I paused, taking a look at Moxie, who quivered with a mix of dread and anticipation. Maybe she was worried I wouldn’t like the dress or stink it up or something. I had no idea, but she didn’t look harmful.
“Alright.” I slipped off my panties, which were still a little damp from all that close contact with Prince Caulden on the flight. My run-in with Prince August earlier in the morning probably also hadn’t helped.
While I divested my last item of clothing, Moxie took the dress off its hanger and held it against my front. I frowned and stared down at the garment, wondering why she hadn’t placed it over my head, when the fabric expanded, wrapped around my chest, and squeezed.
“Wha—”
The fabric knocked all the air out of my lungs, robbing me of my ability to scream.
Moxie raised her palms. “My Lady Unity, please stay calm. Emporium is temperamental and likely to react to your excitement.”
My mouth flapped open and closed in a desperate attempt to get some air, to tell her the difference between excitement and dying, but the fabric continued squeezing. It molded around my breasts, into the crevices of my nipples and the creases between my ass cheeks. My face heated with a combination of humiliation and asphyxiation.
“What the bloody fuck?” The words wheezed from my throat.
“I’m going to get help.” Moxie spun on her heel toward the door, but my hand shot out, and I wrapped it around her puny bicep, making her yelp. No way would I let her chicken out after she’d set in motion this brutal assassination.
By now, the fabric traveling between my ass cheeks reached my folds with an undulating back-and-forth movement that I could only describe as obscene. Then something wrapped around my clit, making me take in a sharp breath.
When the fabric penetrated my opening, I released Moxie—more like flung the faerie across the room—and gulped lungfuls of noisy breaths.
“Fucking hell.” A shudder ran down my back. Pressure built up behind my clit in the beginnings of some kind of orgasm. “What is this?”
“My Lady Unity.” The faerie’s wings wrapped around her body, and she cowered against the wall. “This is part of the fitting process. Emporium must measure you fully.”
The most intense pleasure rippled through my core, making me hurl myself against the wall. “Shiiiiiiiit!”
Sweat broke out across my skin as the fabric poked and rubbed and slid against my most private parts again, and another orgasm burned through my body, making me roar out my ecstasy.
I slumped against the wall, breathing harder than a speeding centaur. This was beyond fucked up. What kind of female visited an exclusive clothes store for the garments to make her cum?
The undulating movement slowed in time with the ebbing of my climax, leaving me titillated, humiliated, and somewhat sated.
“Aaaah!” I exhaled a long, ragged breath.
Moxie wrung her hands. “I see that the Emporium was to your satisfaction, My Lady Uni—”
“What the hell kind of shit hole is this?” I snarled.
The smaller faerie curled onto the marble floor and arranged her body into a ball. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry! If you didn’t like that one, I have ten more garments—”
“No!” I held up both hands.
Moxie raised her head from where she’d cocooned herself, staring at me with wide eyes.
That’s when I remembered flinging her across the room with all my strength. Regret flooded my system and mingled with the aftershocks of my orgasm.
I rushed toward the cowering faerie. “Moxie, did I hurt you?”
“I-it’s alright.” She pulled herself to her feet and dusted off her crumpled dress. “Have you had a chance to look at yourself in the mirror?”
I turned my gaze to the wall and paused. My hair, which was once golden, now shone like a ray of sun bouncing on a buttercup, and my skin glowed with more radiance than Queen Titania.
My wings, which I’d always sort-of liked and reminded me of a blue-and-purple butterfly, shimmered in magic. And they weren’t even on maximum glow.
“What is this?” I raised my hands to my face, not quite believing this was really me. As a half-blood, I was beautiful, but this was
ridiculous.
The reflection of Moxie puffed out her thin chest. “Emporium, the fabric of Empresses.”
“Why did it—”
“My Lady, faeries emit a special glow after they’ve… you know.” Her cheeks pinked, and she twiddled her fingers. “I expect you haven’t yet experienced a heat, but Emporium simulates the radiant afterglow, which occurs after a successful coupling.”
“So, I look pregnant?”
“Well-mated,” she said. “The effects last an hour or so, after which you must remove your garment and let Emporium rework its magic.”
I swallowed hard. In Real Housewives at Atlanta, one of the women started a line of sex toys. Elijah once said he would see if there were any on the United Nations shipments, but apparently, they didn’t send over that kind of item.
“Would you like to show the Princes?” she asked.
Her words barely reached my ears. I was too busy looking at the gorgeous creature in the mirror. “Huh?”
Moxie giggled and pulled the fitting room door open. “This way.”
There was no need to sashay back to the princes. Not when I looked this amazing. My hair brushed along my shoulders like the finest silk, and the Emporium fabric caressed my every curve. It was like having two sets of hands stroking my skin. Sublime.
As she opened the door to the main part of the store, it suddenly occurred to me that I hadn’t even noticed the dress. Maybe that was the whole point: to get people looking at the wearer and not the garment.
Prince Rory’s forest-green eyes widened when I stepped back in behind Moxie. He rose from the sofa in a trance, and his full lips parted with an indrawn breath. We locked gazes, seeming to share a mutual desire. Emporium was all well and good, but I needed something thick and hard and thrusting to stretch me open to complete what the fabric had started.
“Unity.” Prince Caulden stepped in from the right, blocking my view of Prince Rory. He placed both hands on my shoulders and drew me close. “You are exquisite.”
Bliss exploded across my skin from where we touched, and a quiet moan escaped my lips. I wanted more of his caresses, to feel his lips against my skin.
Prince Caulden fell to his knees, pressing kisses on my Emporium-covered thighs. “Be mine.”
“Now?” I whispered.
Prince Rory crossed the room, his eyes burning like flames. he wrapped a hand around his brother’s shoulder and flung him back with a gust of wind. “I was the first to want you, Unity,” he growled. “Be mine, and I will adore you until the end of days.”
This wasn’t right. I turned to Moxie, my eyes wide. “What’s happening?”
Backing toward the door leading to the changing room, she bit down on her lip. “Apparently, the Emporium is having an unexpected effect. Would you, by any chance, be close to a heat?”
I shook my head. As far as I had heard, half-bloods didn’t have heats, and neither did humans.
Prince Rory wrapped a hand around my waist and drew me into his hard body. “Unity, I’m sorry for not proposing when given the chance.” His lips brushed against my ears, and the fabric tightened and pulsed around my nipples. “After our tryst in that tavern, I was overcome and needed time to think.”
Something moved in the periphery of my vision—Prince Caulden, carrying a club of ice.
“Look behind you!” I shrieked.
Prince Rory raised a hand, and his brother fell to the ground with a thud.
Moxie squeaked, and the door behind us slammed shut.
“What did you do?” I rushed to Prince Caulden and knelt at his side.
“I made him hibernate,” said Prince Rory. “The spell will last long enough for us to formalize our mating bond, after which, he will awaken.”
The winter prince’s chest rose and fell with the shallowest of breaths, and I rubbed the pad of my fingers against his cheekbones. It was like sleeping beauty, and I wanted to wake him with a kiss.
“That hardly seems fair,” I murmured.
“Unity.” Prince Rory pulled me to my feet and cupped my face with his hands. “I’m not sure I’ll be able to survive if you don’t choose me.”
“One second,” I said.
He held me in a tight grip. “I can’t bear to let you out of my sight.”
“Don’t worry. I have to do something before we mate. Will you let me go for a little moment?” I said in my softest, most seductive voice.
“Certainly.” He lowered his face to mine and gave me a kiss that sent sparks flying down to the parts the Emporium couldn’t reach.
“Thank you.” I stepped out of his hold and strode through the doors into the mauve hallway. “Moxie!”
Chapter 7
It took a lot of crashing through back rooms, a lot of yelling, and a lot of threats to lure Moxie out of her hiding place. The little faerie eventually produced an antidote, which made the Emporium dress fall to the ground but did nothing to cure me of this extreme beauty.
I changed back into my uniform and returned to the main part of the store, where Prince Rory had laid his brother on the sofa.
His green eyes swept up and down my body, and his face went slack. “Why aren’t you in your dress?”
“I’m saving it for tomorrow’s beauty contest.”
“They may as well announce you the winner.” He crossed the room and gathered me into his arms, engulfing me in his earthy, masculine scent.
“Your Highness?” whispered Moxie from behind. The cringing faerie stood in the doorway with her hands clasped and shoulders curled inward.
Another pang of guilt lanced through my heart at the beleaguered dress mistress. I probably shouldn’t have threatened her, but she probably shouldn’t have let me put on that dress without warning me of its effects.
I twisted around in Prince Rory’s grip, but he held me around the waist and ground into me with his hardening crotch. “Is everything alright, Moxie?”
“We’ve just received a message from the palace,” she hopped from foot to foot as though the marble floor was coated in flames. “Queen Titania is arriving earlier than scheduled.”
Prince Rory’s eyes bulged, losing the previous glaze of lust. “Shit.”
Moxie nodded.
“Is there a back exit?” I asked.
“This way.” She opened the door.
“One second.” Prince Rory flicked his wrist, raising Prince Caulden out of the sofa. He turned to Moxie and said, “Lend us your carriage.”
“It’s for deliveries only,” she said. “Not suitable for a royal customer.”
“Doesn’t matter.”
Several moments later, we sat on a cushioned bench in the back of a delivery wagon pulled by winged horses. Opposite, boxes of supplies swayed with the vehicle’s movement. Moxie had been kind enough to supply us snacks with a bottle of sparkling, honeysuckle wine.
Prince Rory sat on my right, nibbling on my earlobes and feeding me featherlight vol-au-vents. He glanced down at his slumbering brother, whose head rested on my lap. “Push the dead weight to the floor. You don’t need him.”
I ran my fingers through Prince Caulden’s silken hair. “Can you wake him?”
“Later.” Prince Rory placed a kiss on my jaw, which sent sparks of pleasure down my neck. Despite having been sprayed with the antidote, the effects of the Emporium fabric still lingered.
I tilted my neck to the side, giving his lips and tongue better access.
“You’re ravishing.” Prince Rory said as he lavished my neck with open-mouthed kisses, sucking, nipping, licking… setting my sensitive flesh alight with his caresses.
“Oh.” My eyelids fluttered closed, and a hot breath slipped from between my lips. This was beyond anything I had ever experienced, and I squeezed my thighs together, holding back the yearning in my pulsing core.
“I want you. Now,” he growled.
“Take me.” My voice was a breathy gasp.
My inner Sicily scolded me for trying to have sex with one brother while the other slumbe
red with his head on my lap, but I pushed it aside. I wanted Prince Rory. Needed him. And nothing was going to stop me from getting him to finish the job the Emporium had started.
His large hand slipped under my blazer, and he cupped my breast and rubbed the pad of his thumb over my nipple. Sensations more intense than anything I had felt sparked down to my slick folds, and a cry tore from my throat.
“You’re so responsive,” he murmured into my ear. “Are your pantalettes wet for me?”
Groaning with pent-up desire, I squirmed on the cushion. In my haste to get dressed, I hadn’t bothered to put on my panties. Somehow, I didn’t think Prince Rory would mind.
“Open your legs,” he said in a voice so commanding, I had to obey.
As Prince Rory peppered my lips with soft, wet kisses, something heavy rolled off my lap, followed by a thud. The slumbering Prince Caulden.
“Wait.” I pulled back from the kiss. “Your brother—”
“Can take care of himself.” Prince Rory crashed his lips on mine, the force of his kiss parting my lips and lowering me to the bench.
“Mmmm…” He leaned his hot, hard body onto mine, laying me flat on the bench.
The cushioned seat swelled underneath my back, as though preparing for the oncoming movement. Prince Rory straddled my hips, his gaze locked with mine, and his eyes burned bright with desire. The slide of his fingertips up my thigh left a trail of fire on my flesh that gathered in my molten core.
“I must see all of you.” With his other hand, he eased my top button open and pressed his lips on my exposed flesh.
“Yes!” Threading my fingers in his russet hair, which felt as luxurious and silky as his brother’s, I bucked my hips against his hardness and pulled him into my chest.
Prince Rory raised his head. “You’re a female who knows what she enjoys.”
“Aren’t you the same?” I reached between our bodies and cupped a hand around his erection.
His breaths quickened, and the fingers stroking my outer thighs slid over the sensitive flesh of my inner thigh and to my wet folds. His brows rose, and a grin crossed his handsome features. “No pantalettes?”
“In my pocket.”
