I in no way mean to downplay the sufferings people are experiencing on a daily basis, but if the Angel of Death (or even serious illness) passes over you and yours, likely living on mac and cheese and having no toilet paper (all those old phone books had to go somewhere, go find them!) are hopefully the worst you are going through. If your family has been affected, I am sincerely sorry.
What’s changed for me? Almost nothing! I can still be glared at by an arrogant cat, and there is no lack of coffee in the world. Jo watches my every move and demands to go on walkies regularly. What else is there? It’s easy to social-distance in the woods of Oregon, and although they don’t deliver, both Starbucks and the best fish taco place have takeout, so life is good. Have to take that new red Jeep somewhere.
Seriously, authors work from home, so for many of my ilk, not much has changed.
Oh, wait, one thing has: I’ve begun this series! As if the WereWitch series wasn’t enough, Callie and Ronan and Sam sprang into my mind one day, and now here they are! (In case you are wondering, Bailey and Roland will be back in a mega-adventure in May. If you haven’t seen the WereWitch series, check out Bad Attitude (WereWitch Book 1 on Amazon.com. Until we meet again, wash your hands, wear your mask, and don’t touch your face! (Pro tip: don’t attempt to eat fish tacos while wearing a mask. I can still smell the cole slaw after two washes.)
