  “Right.”

“Now, we have to figure out what we are going to do about Saul…”

I’d never seen Tony’s eyes look more serious.

  13

  Tony

  I couldn’t believe I’d found her.

She looked the same, yet somehow older and more mature. Or was it that she looked a bit broken down? That might be it. She looked so tired and world weary. She was so strong, but I knew that at some point she would find herself breaking and being alone what else would she do? I’d gotten to her just in the nick of time. I was so glad to find her safe and sound.

It had been months of exhaustive searching with roads leading to nowhere. She knew how to disappear and not be found. I was impressed with this ability. But I wanted her to know how safe she was now. She was going to be ok.

But the only way we could ensure this was to do something about Saul.

“What do you mean? What can we do to the guy? He is almost untouchable.”

I looked up at her and tried to keep my voice calm and steady. She was probably not going to want to hear this, but I had a plan I knew would work well. She just had to settle into it and be ok with it.

“I’ve got something planned,” I said. “This is no way for you to live. I found you and Saul will too eventually. But I have a mansion in Alaska that is safe. You can stay there and recuperate. You can work remotely if you want to work or you can just relax and get your head back on straight. I can only imagine how much the past few months have taken out of you.”

She sighed. “Yeah, they’ve been rough. The hardest part has been being away from you.”

I felt my heart flutter a bit. She had that warm, sweet look in her eyes that I’d missed so much. God, I loved this woman so much.

“I’m so sorry I didn’t say it back that night, but I do love you. I love you so much. I never realized it fully until I was gone, but it’s been torture being without you.”

She was sobbing now. I reached up and dried a sweet tear from her eyes. Then I leaned in and kissed her sweetly on the mouth. “It’s ok, baby. I love you. I will always love you no matter what. I’ve thought of nothing else but finding you. And I’m glad I did. Now we can begin the healing and we can begin taking care of this problem.”

“Ok. What are we going to do?”

“Well, we will hide you out there at the mansion for a while and then we can focus all of our efforts on tracking Saul. I’ve got several people that I trust working on this as we speak, including some cops from up there. They are a bit out of Saul’s reach as far as greasing their palms. Besides if he can grease their palms, I can pay them far more.”

I could tell she was feeling better already. She seemed so much less tense now than when we’d first sat down on the couch. I rubbed her back gently as I spoke to her and she leaned into it, moaning ever so often very softly. My poor angel was exhausted. She had been so scared, so worried, and so stressed out for several months. And now that was gone. I was here. I would take care of everything. I knew she hated being taken care of, but it was not beneath anyone to ask for some help sometimes. I saw she was beginning to learn that.

“Ok, what happens after that?” Julie asked.

“Well, if Saul finds you somehow, then we will spring the trap on him. I’m even toying with the idea of leading him to you just so we can trap him. Then he will be dealt with. But that is a bit dangerous and your safety is my number one concern. So that is the last resort. Right now, we want to keep you safe and we want to find him. That’s where we will start. So, let’s get you packed up and we can get out of here. I have my jet waiting at the Tucson airport. We can send for the bulk of your stuff later. Tonight, you can rest on the plane and then in the new comfortable bed in the mansion. How does that sound?”

She swallowed hard and put her head on my shoulder. “It sounds wonderful. I can’t thank you more.”

“You don’t need to thank me,” I replied.

I pulled her closer to me and kissed her softly again. I saw something else stirring in her just then. Her kiss took a more serious tone to it and she began to kiss me back very passionately. Her mouth was aggressively pushing against mine, trying to consume my essence into her. I kissed her hard back and let my tongue do its work with hers, the two dancing and writhing back and forth to some inaudible soundtrack, moving to the beat of the lust between us.

I sucked on her tongue just then. I loved the way her soft, yet strong appendage wiggled against the movement, the sweet breath coming behind it and mixing with my own. My lips slid against hers, diving under her upper lip and then moving down to the bottom lip. She kissed me so softly, so sweetly, yet forceful.

I was hard as could be right then. My cock was aching to free itself from the constraints of my pants. I was so ready for her to touch me. I wanted to be inside of her so badly. The lust I had for her was painful. The need had to be met soon.

I leaned her down on the couch and continued to kiss her passionately, allowing her to pull me into her more and more. My hands reached under her skirt and pulled her panties down. Soon they were at the base of her ankles and then she kicked them off quickly. I reached up and fingered her clit just then. It was so wet, tight, inviting, as if it had been waiting for me all this time. And I’d been waiting for her.

I shoved my index and middle finger deeply inside of her just then. She gasped and sucked in, drawing my tongue deeper down her throat. I wanted to follow it as far as I could.

Surprisingly, her fingers began to fumble with my belt. She unbuckled my belt and then focused on the zipper and the snaps. Then I was suddenly free. My cock was in her hand now and she was squeezing me tight and then tenderly, rubbing me back and forth between the two sensations.

Wasting no time, she positioned my cock against her tightness and lifted her legs up enough so that I could ease into her. Sliding between her wet, outer lips was like sliding into the most perfectly warm pool. I was in utter Heaven within seconds. I closed my eyes as I made love to the love of my life. I vowed that I would never lose her again. She had finally admitted that she loved me just as much as I loved her, but I wasn’t sure if such a thing was possible.

Julie crossed her ankles behind my waist as she held on. I was pumping her deeply and smoothly now, pressing my cock hard inside of her sweetness. She was so tight, so warm, and wet for me. Her soft moans turned me on even more with each passing second. I wasn’t sure how I could keep from exploding inside of her soon with the lust I’d been building for her for the past few months. I needed this release more than anything. It was vital for my own life and sanity.

She kissed me hard right then and began to buck her hips wildly against me, forcing my cock to move in and out of her faster and faster. I picked up the pace and continued to fuck that sweet, wonderful wetness until I felt myself on the verge of climax.

I came hard right then plunging myself deep inside of Julie. I held it hard inside of her, trying to empty my seed as far within her inner walls as I possibly could. Her body responded by tightening and squeezing my cock as if trying to wring every last drop from my body. Good. I wanted to give it to her. I wanted her to know that she had everything I had to offer at her disposal. I would give every single bit of myself to her to make her happy.

A moment later I felt Julie’s climax hitting hard as well. The moment I came inside of her I could see the explosiveness in her eyes building the intensity and then her body followed suit. Every muscle was tight and tense. Her body held onto mine as I finished emptying myself into her and she grabbed me with her inner lust and pulled me in as far as possible.

At last, we rested, the two of us holding onto each other with the love that we’d built, that had been building even in our absence from one another. It was peaceful and emotional. Julie was crying with relief as she hugged me. Her arms wrapped around my neck and she kissed me, softly, slowly, and very passionately.

This was the way our lives were supposed to be.

  Julie

Tony’s Alaskan mansion was beautiful. I’d never seen anything like it. It was located about ten miles outside of Anchorage, so we were still close to the city if we needed to be. But we were also in the wild, wonderful Alaskan wilderness. The mansion was even bigger than the one he had back in Los Angeles, but the real mind blower was how much land was connected to this property. There was a huge field stretching from each side of the house and beyond that were trees and wilderness as far away as the eye could see. It was breathtaking.

I never knew that Tony was such an avid outdoorsman. I found this part of him very interesting and even a bit sexy. He was not just a dominant businessman, but he seemed to be that way in every aspect of his life, and I was starting to wonder if there was anything this man could not do. It was a trip to learn all these new and wonderful things about him. Each little thing just made me love him a little bit more.

It had felt so good to be out in the open about my feelings for him, to tell him how much he meant to me and how I’d missed him. When I saw him standing outside of that apartment in Arizona my heart had almost stopped. He had actually come for me. He always would. I knew then that he would never let any harm come to me and he was more than capable of keeping both of us safe. It had been stupid of me to run that way.

But fear will make you do crazy things.

I’d been in the mansion for about two weeks when Tony woke me up early one morning. Now, usually he woke me up with the proposition of a hot shower together followed by a hot breakfast. But this morning, I saw he was already dressed, and he had a fairly serious look on his face. He was not playing around. Something was going on.

  I wondered what… I was very intrigued.

“Get dressed. We need to go.”

  “What?” I asked. “Where?”

“You’ll see,” he said. He pointed to the end of the bed where he’d laid out the clothes, he wanted me to wear. “Get dressed, babe.”

I got dressed and groggily made my way to the garage where Tony fired up one of the four wheelers. We rode out together to the edge of the property where we were closing on the forest that surrounded everything. I could see several targets set up about thirty yards away.

Tony stopped the four-wheeler and then grabbed the bag he’d had strapped to the back of it. I could tell it was heavy by the way he carried it. He sat the bag down and reached inside of it. Tony started pulling out different types of guns.

I’d never seen that many guns up close before. The only ones that I had ever seen belonged to Saul and he had forbidden me to ever touch any of them.

Tony stood up and handed me a pistol. “That is a .38 snub nose. It’s a nice little gun, but it does have a big punch to it. So, don’t let its size fool you. It will take a man down quickly.”

I held the gun in my hand. I was shocked at how heavy it was relative to the size of the gun. I wasn’t sure how it could do that much damage, but I trusted Tony’s word. The weapon felt powerful and deadly in my hand. Just having it made me feel so much stronger. I had always hated guns but holding this thing in my hand I knew that if Saul or anyone was bent on hurting me then they were going to be sorry they ever tried. It was great for peace of mind.

“Alright, have you ever shot a gun before?” Tony asked me.

  I shook my head. “No.”

“Ok, then follow me,” he said.

He led me over a few feet where we stood in front of the targets closing the distance to about fifty feet. I was a bit nervous. I wasn’t sure exactly what I was doing.

“Alright now, you need to learn how to defend yourself properly. If your opponent has a gun and you can’t escape, having a gun is your best defense. Period. If you have a gun, it puts you right back in the game. Now, I’m going to show you how to shoot.”

I followed Tony’s guidance as he showed me how to stand, how to squeeze the trigger, how to use the sight, and how to relax properly when I fired the weapon.

“Ok, now you try it,” he said.

I got into my position, using both hands, squatting down some and then relaxing my grip but not too much. I got the target in my sight and then I squeezed the trigger. The gun exploded with power. I saw the flash of the fire and the loud boom of the explosion rolled up my arms with the kickback. I almost dropped the gun, but I was able to hold on. My shot missed the target completely.

“Like I said, it does pack a wallop,” Tony said. “Try it again.”

I took a deep breath and tried it again. This time the bullet hit the target but just a bit to the left of where I was aiming. I fired shot after shot and my aim began to improve.

After about twenty rounds, I was accurately hitting what I was shooting at. I was starting to feel better.

“Great job,” Tony said. “Now let’s try the nine-millimeter.”

I tried the nine and I was shocked to see how much different it felt in my hand. It was smoother somehow, a bit thicker. I was amazed at how much fun I was having getting familiar with these weapons. The relief was washing over me in awesome waves of peace.

I fired off a clip of the nine and I hit the target several times. I was still working on getting it right, but I knew all of that would come with patience and practice.

“You want to keep your stance strong,” Tony said. “That is your base. Here, you want to hold it like this.” Tony stepped behind me, wrapped his arms around and held my hands in his. I held the gun tightly, my body responding longingly to his warmth behind me. I felt so safe right then and there. I breathed easily.

  “Like this?” I asked.

“Yeah,” he replied. “You want your knees to be slightly bent, but still strong. All of this will help you with the recoil. Then you want to slow your breathing down. You want to watch the target with both eyes and look down the sights to line it up. I find it’s better to keep both eyes open. Then when you are ready you just release the breath as you squeeze the trigger.”

I followed his instructions, and the gun came to life in my hands. It fired a solid round right down the center and hit the target hard. If that had been a person, he or she would have been gone.

“Great job!” Tony said. He kissed me on the ear and hugged me.

“Yeah, but I’m not sure I can do that.”

  “What?”

“Well, I don’t know if I have it in me to kill someone.”

“You never know what you can do when you have no choice. If you have no choice but to defend yourself then you want to make sure that you can defend yourself well without second guessing anything. That is the reason behind all of this. That’s enough for today. We can pick this back up tomorrow.”

We packed up the guns and ammo and then hopped back on the four-wheeler. We didn’t say anything on the trip back. It was nice to enjoy the ride in silence. I thought about what Tony said, about having to defend yourself. I wondered if it came down to it, would I really be able to blow Saul away? I’d once loved the evil bastard. But then again, I’d loved only a shell of who I thought he was. That wasn’t him. He was a monster and he wanted to take me away from the life that I wanted, the life I should have been living. He had me locked away from the job I loved. He’d even had me running scared and had almost cost me the love of my life.

But Tony never lost faith. He would always be there for me. I knew that.

Over the next several days, Tony and I worked on a variety of skills. We did archery, we worked with the guns several times, and we even did some swordplay and martial arts. These were all things about Tony I had no idea about. It was fun learning all of these new skills and by the end of the week I actually felt like I was ready to take on whatever might come my way, but avoidance was still my best strategy.

“So, where did you learn to do all this?” I asked one night after dinner. Tony had caught some fish in a stream nearby and thrown it on the grill. It was some of the best fish I’d ever had. It was delicious. I ate until I was so full, I thought I might throw up any moment. I was stuffed to the gills.

Tony leaned back and sighed along, winding breath. He looked tired. But he stared straight at me with that winning smile. “When I was a kid my dad worked all the time. We occasionally did things together, but mostly it was just work all the time. And I saw that my father paid other people to do every little thing for him. I realized then that my father was only capable of working his job. He didn’t know how to do anything else. Someone cooked for him, cleaned for him, repaired things for him, shopped for him, and even called him to wake him up in the morning. All of these things I felt someone should be taking care of themselves. But it was not until I was a teenager that I actively began pursuing these things. I realized that I didn’t want to be ignorant about anything. My father once told me that the world is a cruel, mean, vile place, and I realized that he was right in many ways. There are bad people, bad things in the world that want to do us harm. One must protect themselves and those they care about instead of counting on others to do it for you, even if it is their job.”

“That’s a good way of looking at things,” I said. “I just never thought I would need that kind of protection though. But I’m glad I’m getting it now. I want to thank you for showing me these things and for being so patient with me.”

He reached out his hand on mine. “I won’t let him get to you. I’ve got my team trying to track him down. He has to know that someone is looking for him if he is trying to avoid detection, right?”

I shook my head. “Someone is always looking for him. I’m fairly certain he made a deal for a lighter prison sentence than what he actually got. He had a great lawyer, a shyster, but he also made some deals happen.”

  “Like what?”

“Well, he knew a lot of bad people and he knew what a lot of bad people did. I heard rumors that he worked out a deal to roll over on this drug kingpin that he knew about. He turned states’ evidence and made a deal. That is why he got out so soon. But I could never really prove it. It was never brought up in court because it had nothing to do with my case. He made a deal and now those same people might be after him.”
