“Are you all right?” Conner palmed Wayne’s face, the stubble a welcome sensation on the palm of his hand.

“I…I want you to make love to me, Conner.”

  Conner sat up quickly. “What?”

“I want to feel you, in every sense of the word. I want you to mark me as yours.”

  “Are you sure?” Conner whispered.

Wayne smiled and leaned down, capturing Conner’s lips. “Yes, I’m sure.”

Wayne’s eyes closed, as Conner pushed him onto his back. A soft hand slid down his inner thigh and cupped his balls. Wayne inhaled sharply as Conner massaged them softly. A moist heat encircled his hard prick and Wayne gripped the sheets tightly, the sensation flowing up his spine. Wayne left his thoughts on, as Conner started a slow seduction. It was becoming increasingly difficult to stay quiet and when Conner’s tongue laved his hole, Wayne’s composure cracked. A low growl escaped from his throat as Conner’s tongue delved inside. Wayne’s back arched, as Conner pushed his thighs up to gain more access.

“It’s in my pocket of my jeans,” Wayne gasped.

Conner looked up with a grin. “I’m not done yet.”

  “Shite,” Wayne whispered.

Wayne found himself on all fours as Conner proceeded to lick, bite and tease him until he was a trembling mess on the bed, basically begging for the younger man to fuck him senseless. The tease went on and on - Conner had found the lube and was now fucking Wayne with two fingers. If he’d thought being with a man was going to be strange, he couldn’t have been more mistaken. Conner brought him to new depths, new sensations and Wayne found himself mewling for more fingers, more heat, more everything.

A third finger slid in and Wayne arched his back, the heat shooting up his spine into his shoulders. He’d never had such an exquisite experience during sex. Conner knew just where to touch him to make him moan, sigh and almost scream in pleasure. Wayne pushed back on the fingers currently driving him insane and felt a tongue slide across his ass cheek.

“Please, Conner…” Wayne choked back a sob. He needed Conner to fill him, mark him as his mate.

“Turn back over,” Conner growled. “I want you to know who’s taking you.”

The hairs stood on end as Conner’s low growl filled his senses. His dick filled more, making it excruciating painful. “I need to cum…Conner...please…”

Conner flipped Wayne on his back, settling between his legs. He lubed his cock and pressed it to Wayne’s body. “Who is making love to you?” Conner leaned over biting Wayne’s bottom lip.

  “You are, Conner.”

“Say it again.” Conner licked Wayne’s nipple, sucking in the pert nub and biting down.

Wayne sucked in a breath. “You Conner, only you.”

Conner pushed in, watching Wayne’s eyes widen. He stopped when the head was inside and waited for Wayne to accept his size. “Okay?”

“Holy shite…” Wayne took a deep breath, closed his eyes and tried to relax.

  “Look at me,” Conner whispered.

Wayne opened his eyes, Conner was glowing. “You look so beautiful.”

“I love you, Wayne.” Conner pushed in slowly, feeling Wayne stretching to fit him.

As their mouths met, Wayne ran his fingers through Conner’s soft locks. The fullness spread to his chest as Conner filled him to the hilt. Conner’s thighs rested against his own and Wayne took a deep breath, exhaling through his nose, as Conner’s tongue slowly swept his mouth. If he was to be honest with himself, he’d never felt like this during sex. Being with Conner was better than anything he’d ever had, they were connected in more ways than one and Wayne felt his throat closing up. He’d never loved Juliet as he did Conner.

“I love you, for as long as I breathe and beyond, Conner.”

Wayne moved with Conner, their bodies becoming one with every in-stroke. Conner hit him perfectly every time and Wayne felt his breath hitch as his prostate was massaged. Who knew something could feel so good? Conner gripped the shaft of his penis, giving him a good slow stroke as he upped the tempo of his thrusts at the same time.

Wayne’s body floated on a tide of pleasure as, over and over again, Conner took him to new heights of sexual awareness. When his orgasm hit, Wayne came with a throaty roar. A blast of heat seared his chute and Conner landed on top of him, his body exploding inside Wayne with such fierceness, he cried out. His canines elongated and he latched onto Wayne, biting him deeply. Another orgasm ravaged him as he met with bone. Wayne’s body trembled and shook beneath him as they came again. Conner removed his teeth and licked the area lovingly. Wayne was panting underneath him, his skin wet with sweat.

  “Wayne?” Conner whispered.

“I’m all right…I think,” Wayne chuckled softly.

“Did I hurt you at all?” Conner inched back, looking into Wayne’s eyes.

“God no, it was…I can’t even explain.” Wayne took Conner’s face in his hands. “I want to do that all the time.”

  Conner chuckled. “I won’t complain.”

“You were wonderful, it felt so good.”

Conner released a breath he hadn’t realized he was holding. After being told he sucked in bed, Wayne was telling him he was good. It was something he’d always wondered about and now to hear it from Wayne…

“They had no idea what the hell they were talking about,” Wayne growled. “You made a straight man come, remember that.”

Conner laughed. “Not so straight anymore, are you?”

“Gay, straight, doesn’t really matter to me. All I need to know is that you love me and I love you.”

Conner pulled out slowly, lying next to his mate. Wayne immediately pulled him closer and Conner nestled into Wayne’s body. “So, you really want to marry your “made” man?”

Wayne smiled, kissing Conner’s forehead. “I bet it confused the hell out of your mother how she could get pregnant when every doctor told her she couldn’t. I just feel bad the way that you were treated by them.”

“I guess it was the same for Aidan, though.” Conner kissed Wayne’s neck. “His parents loved him unconditionally right up to the point where he told them he preferred men.”

“It was even less accepted in those times,” Wayne sighed. “Then to have Nevan turn him away…”

“I know, he told me the pain he felt.”

“Seems as if you made men are put through hell. Doesn’t seem very fair.”

“Maybe, but look what I got as a reward,” Conner sighed, sated.

“I’ll make sure you feel that way every day, Conner.” Wayne tightened his grip around Conner. The man had been put through hell not only by his parents, but every man he’d ever been with. Then kidnapped. Lord, the fates could be cruel.

“It’s all right, Wayne. I came through this and I’ll be by your side.”

  “Where you belong.”

  Chapter Seven

The sun rose towards the horizon and Dakota watched as it inched up the blue sky. Finding out that rogues existed scared the shit out of him. If he thought Carson Drake had been evil, the rogues made him look sane. The women were already up, cooking and cleaning. He had to admit, they’d done their share of killing in the castle fight. No wonder they were caged for years, they were ruthless and almost as feral as the rogues.

Dakota sighed thinking about his and Sam’s predicament.

Years now they’d tried to have a child only to be let down each and every time. The rest of the men had had the same letdown over and over again. All of them were fit and ready; it was the surrogates who couldn’t handle the lupine fetus. Not being able to tell the women what they were carrying made it even worse. Even the humans hadn’t had success and Riley was taking it the hardest. Dakota gripped the fence. It wasn’t fair; he wanted a child with Sam.

  “We can help.”

Dakota turned quickly at the voice behind him. Josephine and Samantha stood smiling. “What?”

“Well, we are werewolves, and female, which means we can carry your ch
ildren.”

Samantha nodded. “It has been done this way for years.”

Dakota shook his head. “It’s not fair to you.”

Josephine snorted. “Fair? Life isn’t fair, if it was I’d still be human.”

“There are more than enough of us to carry children for you.” Samantha stepped forward. “It would be an honor to carry the Maccon line.”

“But, wouldn’t you want to raise the children?” Dakota asked.

“It’s not safe,” Josephine shook her head. “Even though we have the nurturing instincts, once the child is born we could still hurt it if it stayed with us.”

Samantha eyed the smaller werewolf. “I’d love to do it the old fashioned way.”

  Dakota blushed.

  “Samantha!” Taber roared.

“What?” Samantha pursed her lips. “I can’t tell the truth?”

Dakota turned to see the older Maccon making his way over. “Taber,” Dakota nodded, tilting his head.

Taber nodded, acknowledging the younger werewolf’s sign of respect. “The girls are getting restless with so many men around.”

“Pfft,” Josephine snorted. “I haven’t been a girl in ages.”

“Well you still look twenty,” Taber winked.

  “What about a human baby?”

Dakota turned to see Riley standing in the doorway of one of the cottages.

  “Riley…” Dakota sighed.

“Well, is it possible?” Riley walked over to the women.

“The baby might end up with the female werewolf gene,” Taber explained. “You’d be dealing with one hell of a spitfire.”

“So it is possible?” Riley persisted.

“Riley…if the child were to bite you…” Dakota began.

“I want a baby. I know you understand that, Dakota. Mateo and I want one of each of us, then we plan to adopt.”

“Oh that’ll be great,” Taber rolled his eyes. “Let the babies bite their adopted brothers and sisters.”

“They can be controlled,” Samantha cut in. “They just need another werewolf around to show the proper way.”

Dakota saw the look of hope leave Riley’s face. He knew what that was like, to build up your hopes only to have them shattered. “Sam and I could move to Arizona.”

Riley’s head snapped up. “You’d…you’d do that?”

Dakota walked to Riley with a smile. “To help you? Yes, we could do that.”

“But Sam’s parents…” Riley sighed in sadness.

“They’ll get over it; I know Sam would want to help. Besides, they can visit as often as they want.”

“Nadine’s going to shit a whole house,” Riley pointed out.

“She’ll be OK; Sawyer and Troy will still have their child on Queets land.”

“But it will be Sam’s offspring and she’ll want to hold her grandchild.” Riley took Dakota’s shoulders. “It’s too much to ask, we’ll find another way.”

“You know it won’t be a problem for us to fly them in whenever they want. Whatever you need Riley,” Dakota hugged him tightly. “We’ll all help.”

  ~~

Conner awoke to the soft breathing of Wayne in his hair. It was a comfortable feeling. He pressed a kiss to Wayne’s throat and climbed out of bed quietly. The kitchen was quiet except for the soft sound of the coffee percolating. Conner grabbed a cup and made his way outside. The sun was up, casting a glow over the property and the air was crisp and clean. Vince and his son were already doing their morning workout, sparring while Lorenzo sat back watching.

Wayne had proposed. The thought made his skin ripple with goose bumps. The one man who made his heart race now wanted him in the same way. It was a relief to know his feelings were finally returned. The door to a cottage slapped open and Conner turned to see the packs coming out. Paul was in deep conversation with Locke Renfro. When Paul looked up, their eyes met. Conner gave him a small smile.

“Excuse me,” Paul shook Locke’s hand. Conner leaned against the wooden fencing, waiting for Paul to reach him. “Morning, Paul.”

Paul winked with a smirk. “Werewolf, huh?”

  Conner blushed. “Um, yeah, so…”

“Couldn’t have told me that little bit of info?”

Conner snorted. “Oh, yeah. ‘Hey Paul, I know we’re meeting about the company, but I think you should know I’m a werewolf.’”

  “Touché.”

“Are you…okay with all of it?” Conner probed.

Paul smiled, dragging Conner into a hug. “Of course I am. You are still wee little Conner to me. Although your boyfriend is one scary motherfucker.”

  Conner chuckled. “He is, huh?”

Paul pulled back, looking into Conner’s eyes. “He loves you. I could see how much at the castle, he would give his life for you.”

  “About the castle…”

Paul laughed. “Yeah, I called Damon this morning; he’ll send the cleaners in. Chance told me to have all the wolves burned.”

  “So Sloan…”

“Was already burned before you guys even left. She won’t be making any more trouble.” Paul cocked an eye brow. “So - witches and werewolves.”

“I know, I know…” Conner said. “It’s like something out of a fairy tale.”

“Yeah, the Brothers VERY Grimm,” Paul laughed, “and Vicious.”

Conner saw Nikolai making his way over. “I think the younger Markov wishes to speak with you.”

Paul turned to watch Nikolai. It was like looking at Vince, they were mirror images of each other and both deadly as all hell.

  “Nikolai, how are you?”

Conner practically laughed out loud. Nikolai looked almost nervous. “Nik, everything okay?”

Nikolai ran his hand through his hair. “Yes, I just wanted to know if Mr. Greystone would have a problem with me dating his son.”

  “Which one?” Paul laughed.

“Colin, sir. Remember I was the one who got Colin to the hospital after he got beat up in the locker room? So, um, yeah…would you be opposed to me asking him out?”

Paul narrowed his eyes at the younger Markov. “You know what will happen if your enemies find out you’re serious about someone. Colin’s trained in lethal combat, but not like you are.”

  “I’d protect him,” Nikolai insisted.

Paul sighed. “Look, I won’t tell Colin not to date you, but I also won’t encourage him. You understand, don’t you?”

“That’s all I can ask for,” Nikolai put his hand out. “Thank you.”

“If he agrees, don’t break his heart,” Paul threatened. “I should warn you, though; Colin is one hell of a tough nut to crack. You’ve got your work cut out for you.”

“I love a challenge,” Nikolai grinned.

  “Oh, hell,” Paul laughed loudly.

Nikolai walked back over to his father and Conner arched a brow at Paul. “Are both of your sons gay?”

“Nope, Conner’s straight, but wouldn’t it have been hilarious if Nikolai wanted Conner? I would have paid to watch that seduction.”

  Conner snickered. “You’re so twisted.”

~~ With breakfast served, talk around the table turned to the rogues. Jacob, Seth, Tristan, Logan and Locke had been hunting them for almost two years now. Wayne sat back and listened to the stories; his eyes met with his father’s and it was evident that the older Maccon was worried.

“How many packs have come forward asking for help?” Roane asked Wayne.

“More than a few,” Wayne answered. “We are trying to get through them as fast as possible, all while making sure they are the right kind we want associated with the Maccon line.”

“We are running out of time,” Alexander sighed tiredly. “The rogues are multiplying.”

Chance nodded. “Nikolai and I found a paranormal website online. They are recruiting.”

“Wait, so do they stay in wolf form or not?” Taylor asked.

“No one knows for sure, but obviously they have someone doing their dir
ty work for them,” Jacob snarled. “We’ve only seen one in human form.”

“Well Sloan got them to work for her,” Nikolai furrowed his brows. “We need to get to her house, look through all her things. Maybe we can get a clue as to how she got them to work for her, how to find them, and so on.”

  “I’ll go,” Chance said.

“Not without back-up you won’t,” Locke vowed.

“I’m a grown man, Locke.” Chance narrowed his eyes at his alpha.

“I realize that,” Locke folded his hands together. “This is something you can’t fight me on. You want to go? Fine. Take someone with you.”

  “I can go,” Nikolai grinned.

Locke sighed. “No offense, but I don’t know how well you’ll do up against rogues.”

  Nikolai snorted. “Are you serious?”

“Um, yeah, Locke - I don’t think you saw Nikolai in action. Believe me when I say he can take care of himself,” Jacob declared. “And I’m an ex-Navy SEAL saying that.”

  “Thanks, dude,” Nikolai winked.

“Fucker kicks some ass,” Seth said, with a grin and a wink for the younger Markov.

“Okay, so we have a new mission,” Wayne looked around the table of men.

“More than one,” Taber pointed his finger at Dakota and Sam. “The women have agreed to carry the Maccon offspring.”

  “They have?” Wayne asked.

“Yes,” Dakota smiled, looking up at Sam.

“Alexander,” Taber looked at the doctor.

  “Yes?”

“You can run tests on newborns to see if the female gene is present?”

Alexander’s brows lifted. “Yes, I can.”

“What are you thinking, Da?” Roane asked his father.

“Riley, Mateo, Josh and Mark. They have also not been able to conceive. Seems the embryos will not attach.”

“Whoa…you want to take my shit and put it in a werewolf?” Josh asked in astonishment.

  Mateo grinned. “I like it.”

“Can it be done?” Mark asked.

“Seriously, babe?” Josh looked at his husband in surprise.

“We haven’t had any luck, Josh,” Mark said softly. “I want a baby.”
