“Ryan, what happened?” Ian asked, appearing by his side.
Ryan looked at me, wide-eyed. Were there tears in his eyes? Ryan turned to his best friend and waved the tickets at him.
“You won’t believe this, Ian. Noah’s taking me to South Korea for our honeymoon!” Ryan squealed.
“Korea? Wow, man, that’s nice,” Ian said.
Across the yard, Jordan stopped arguing with his cousins to give me a thumbs’ up sign. He’d given me plenty of suggestions on where to take Ryan on our honeymoon. Hawaii and Fiji had been on the list. I had some money saved up. I wanted to spoil my husband rotten.
Then I remembered Ryan telling me one of his dream places to visit was the land where all his favorite shows originated from.
“We’re going to have a blast. Thank you so much, babe,” he said.
Ryan pulled me into an embrace, then planted a sizzling kiss on my mouth which left me tingling all over. I wanted to drag him back inside the house and have my way with him.
“You finally called me babe,” I told him, smirking.
He patted my arm affectionately. “Don’t get used to it.”
“I love you so much, you know that?” I was being cheesy and corny but screw it. I knew Ryan liked hearing me utter those three words to him.
