Training a Wife

“Now that is just cute,” Beth laughed and clapped her hands together.

“We are not cute. We are fierce and I thought I should let you know the gargoyles in the gardens think they should move into the castle, if it’s okay with you. Something has spooked even them and they have offered their services to make sure your woman does not get hurt.” Deception stated, looking back at him, then at Beth.

All laughing stopped and fear replaced the smile she had just a few minutes ago. “Edward?”

“What’s wrong?” Lucas and Dred came running toward them with his companion looking in all directions.

“It seems we’re not the only ones who believe your brother is going to strike soon. The gargoyles from the garden have asked to come into the castle to help protect Beth. Have you heard anything from your friend?” Edward asked, reaching over and pulling Beth into his arms, hugging her tight. “Shh, nothing is going to hurt you again. Little Witch.”

“Edward is right. Nothing will get to you, My Heart. But Edward even Nail is asking to come for a visit.” Lucas stated.

“Well then it’s a good thing we have some of the council coming, isn’t it?” Edward sent to Lucas only who nodded.

“Edward is it wise to bring the children here?” Beth looked over at Mathew. “Maybe we should send them, my aunts and Mathew somewhere else?”

Lucas was already shaking his head. “No, My Heart. It would be easier to defend them here. The children will be protected. Mother is also calling in a few favors along with Edward’s Mother. They will be well protected.”

“How are the children getting here, Dred? Should we send more people to protect them?” she asked, looking at him, then to Dred.

“We have over 100 men who will bring the children in. They’ll be okay.” Dred said, but Beth was shaking her head. “No, if he killed our children, he wouldn’t hesitate to kill those others. There has to be another way to bring them here.”

“My Grandfather,” Edward smiled at Lucas. “I’ll have my mom contact him and ask for some extra help bringing the children here. This way they won’t have to ride in a bus all the way here and our men can clean up the mess that’s left of the town.” He kissed the top of his wife’s head. “Is that better?”

Her shoulders slumped and she smiled up at him. “That’s a great idea, if he’ll do it. That also means we need to get busy getting the rooms ready.” She spun out of his arms and headed up the stairs, nodding at the guards.

“My aunts will meet us at our old quarters. Mathew, you’re going to get your first lesson in magic today,” Beth stated, once more taking his arm and walking down the hall.

“Deception, have them come in. A few at our doors and the rest throughout castle. Maybe they’ll be able to tell who is working for him.”

“Why do I get the feeling your brother already knows we’re going to have a gathering here? If the connection spell worked, which I know it did, then we have others working for your brother here among us.” Edward turned to see the commotion ahead of them, hearing Deception and Zero warning in his head. “Angry people coming full force towards us.”

Sure enough Marble and her group were pissed. Their glares were directed right at their woman. “Edward, I think I’ll take Beth and Mathew to their destination. Meet us there when you are finished,” Lucas snapped and grabbed both of them before they could say a word, disappearing before Marble said a word to her.

“Where did she go?” His cousin asked with hostility to her voice.

“Excuse me? You might be family, but I’m done with this, Marble. You and your group were ordered back home, not tomorrow, but now. What are you doing here?” Edward demanded.

“It’s not right for us to be sent away. I know it’s her doing, Edward. You’ve never paid attention to us till now. Plus, if we go home, we won’t be able to see each other. You know our parents won’t allow it,” Marble whined.

“Enough! This is not up for debate. Now go and do not come back unless you are invited.” Edward nodded to one of his personal guard. “Make sure these women are escorted out of this castle. The van will take them to the airport.” Edward ordered. Not one of the women said a word knowing he was furious.

“Well that is one less hassle Beth will have to deal with. I hate to say it, but women can really be vicious,” Dred mumbled and his brother agreed.

  Chapter Eight

With the help of Edward’s mom, Lucas brought furniture and things the children would need to help them to adjust. Over 20 rooms were being prepared for the children. Diapers, cribs, blankets, sheets, everything the three of them could think of was being brought in. Even Rock and Edward were helping put together cribs.

Beth had told them she could use her magic to put the cribs together, but both of them had refused, saying it was up to the men to make sure the beds for their children were put together right. So she laughed every time one of them slammed something into their fingers, or certain frames wouldn’t lock with the other half of the cribs. But her favorite was when the side of the crib not only slid down, but hit the floor following the rest of the crib pieces.

Rock glared at her, daring her to laugh, but Beth couldn’t help it. “You’re the one who said he didn’t need help.” Beth squealed before he turned to chase after her. “Rock!” she squealed when he picked her up and pushed her up against the wall, growling.

At once Beth submitted to him, baring her neck to him. “I love you, Rock,” she whispered as he nipped her shoulder before he licked his mark next to his brother’s.

“Use your magic, Little Witch. Those things are not made to be put together by a man’s hands,” Edward grumbled, coming over to them and glaring at the offending cribs.

His mother laughed and at once both cribs they had been working on were up and put together. “Honey, I’m afraid even your father couldn’t do it, so you are not alone.” His mother teased him.

“What couldn’t I do?” Edward’s father asked, coming into the baby’s room with Lucas and Dred.

“You couldn’t put together a crib. I’m afraid your son and Rock are in the same boat.” Faith laughed.

“You couldn’t put together a crib?” Dred smirked along with Lucas.

“Not to worry Edward and Rock. When it’s time for us to put together a crib, we’ll make sure it’s their personal project. Now come, I’ve got to meet Avril at the office to get the invites out today.” She kissed Rock and tried to squirm down, but Rock wouldn’t release her. He just growled again.

“Rock?” she looked up into his face and saw the heat there. “Well then, um, maybe we should make a side trip to our…” She didn’t even get the words out as he flipped her over his shoulder and stormed out of the room with Edward laughing behind them.

“You will not be auctioning yourself off!” Rock snapped and slapped her ass hard.

“Wait, what did you say?” Edward glanced down at her, then back up at Rock.

“I caught a glimpse of what our woman was thinking and she’s thinking of having a slave auction next week to raise money for the children. But guess who was going to be auctioned off first?” Rock snarled again and slapped her bare ass. This time her skirt now gone.

“Damn it, Edward cover me up, and you idiots were going to be bidding on me of course. It’s not like anyone would bid against the King,” she snapped and tried to get up, but once more a large hand came down on her ass.

“Rock is right. What the hell is wrong with you? You belong to us?” Edward said as they moved down the stairs to their private quarters. Once there, Rock dropped her onto the couch.

Both men hovered over her now naked body. “You have one minute to explain,” Edward stated.

She tried to sit up, but Rock snarled. “No, stay on your back and spread those legs. I want to see my pussy.” Rock’s heated gazed traveled down her body once more igniting every sexual nerve in her body.

Slowly, Beth separated her legs, but that wasn’t good enough. Rock reached down and placed one of her
legs up on the back of the sofa while pushing the other one out to the side near the coffee table. Once he was done with that, he reached behind her and grabbed a pillow. “Lift your butt,” he ordered and slipped the thing under her ass.

“Now talk,” Rock said, sitting on the end of the couch, his hand covering her mound.

She cleared her throat. “Since I knew Edward was going to ask that the parties take place behind closed doors, I thought we could have one big shin-dig before this happens, a slave auction where couples could have fun too. Their spouses would have to bid on them, but who knows who else will to? Plus there will be the non-attached women also. Not only will this be formal, guys in tuxes, but the females will wear teddies or baby doll outfits. We’re going to have to keep the room really warm thoughhh,” she moaned the last sentence as Rock slid his finger between her pussy lips, circling her clit.

“I like it, but what’s to stop someone from bidding on a wife and causing trouble?” Edward came over and sat down on the coffee table, cupping her breast. “Because I’ll tell you right now I’ll kill anyone who thinks they’re going to buy you.” He pinched her nipple and she lost her train of thought for a second.

“Damn it, Edward, this is to raise money to help the families who take in these children, plus have some fun.” She pouted and Edward laughed, leaning over and nipping her lip.

“Sorry, that’s just not going to work. Plus, I’ll give you the damn money. Money matters not to us and you know this.” He sucked her nipple into his mouth and she tried to pull away, but once more Rock snarled.

“Damn it, Edward I want to do this and if you snarl at me again, I’m going to kick your fat head,” she grumbled. She surprised them both by jumping off the back of the couch away from their touch. “Don’t. You will not distract me. You do this every time you don’t want me to do something.” She whispered a few words and a simple dress covered her body.

“I love you both, but since we’ve been here, Edward, not once have you taken me to one of the whatever you call them. I know you used to participate in most of those sex things…” She waved her hand in the air and narrowed her eyes on Edward when she finally it dawned on her.

“God, I’m stupid!” she hit her hand on her head. “You know something Edward if you’re that ashamed of me, why the fuck did you marry me! I’ve been waiting and waiting, the women kept asking when their king and queen would make appearance and now I know. Fine, you don’t want this. We’ll do a formal event, no slave sale, donate all the freaking money. Excuse me, I’m going to speak with Lancelot about the meal. Move please.” Beth waited, but both of them looked at each other before they lunged at her.

“NO!” But there was no holding them back.

  * * *

Of all the nonsense Edward had ever heard, this was at the top of the list. For his woman to believe those words was unacceptable. Both Rock and he were in shock because it was so stupid, but he was furious with those nosy bimbos!

Rock held Beth in his arms as he stared down at her. “Don’t have enough men to see to your every need?” he asked, holding her gaze.

“What does that have to do with anything? And of course I do,” she looked away from him. “Edward, I am but one. Every morning I get up I fear I will lose one of you. How can a woman who’s not from the world you all are born into keep your attention? I try each day to make sure I belong, learning all the customs of all of your cultures. But how can I keep you happy if you won’t allow me to participate in your cultural rituals?” She looked at him.

“I don’t want you to become bored with me. You are used to more than one woman and now you have to share me, all of you do.”

Edward nodded. “What I see is that we haven’t proven to you just what you mean to us. Do you know what happens in those parties?” he gripped her chin holding it. “They are massive orgies. They are not part of my culture and I’ll be damned if any man is going to touch you. Do you want other women touching me?” he snipped.

“Any woman who touches any of you sexually will suffer, but Edward…” He put his finger over her lips, hushing her.

“Avril is on his way here. We will work out a compromise. I do like the idea of the women in the baby doll outfits and men in tuxes.” Rock walked over to the couch, but held onto her when he sat down.

“Even in our world there is no sharing in the pack. Sure we have sex in front of others and we love to be touched, but no one tries to mount someone else’s woman. It’s a death sentence.” Rock mumbled into her neck. “Don’t you know we will never get tired of you, Little Witch?”

“Hold on, let me get some paper and a pen,” Edward got up, but Beth pointed to the table.

“In the drawer is a pad of paper and a pen. I keep them around in case an idea pops up,” Beth said, kissing Rock’s chest.

“Have you started to write again? I know you said you were having trouble, ‘a writer’s block from hell’ I believe you said.” Edward reached over and grabbed the items.

“I sent a new story to my publisher last week. She read it and sent the contract back within 24 hours. She’s also asked if I could make a series out of it.”

“Really? Was this a short or a novel?” he looked over at her and saw the smile.

“It was a novel, paranormal and erotic.” Her cheeks brightened and she didn’t look at him.

“Now I know I want to read it.” He leaned down and kissed her pink cheek, as he heard Avril coming down the stairs. “We’ll talk more about your story. Hello Avril, have a seat. We need to get these invites done. We will not be having a slave auction, but I was thinking we could call it a Baby Doll event. Maybe having the females dress in the baby doll teddies while the men wore tuxes. However, my queen wants to have some kind of auction to raise money for the children. Any ideas?” Edward looked at Avril and then at Rock.

“If it was a school type of thing, they sometimes have a bake sale or auction. I suppose we could have made something, maybe men can donate their time. You know, like if he owns a plumbing service, he could donate his services?” Beth frowned. “But that is kind of boring.”

They all sat there for a few minutes before Beth sat up and yelled. “I’ve got it. We’ll make this a daylong event. The first half being a family event. We’ll have a carnival inside, games, rides, maybe a desert auction. Then at night we can have the adult night while the kids have a sleep over. We can have volunteers watch the children. They can watch movies; have popcorn and such, while we have your Baby Doll formal dance. Instead of slaves we could have each of the wives have their husbands bid on something she is offering?” She looked at him and he smiled.

He leaned over and tapped her nose. “And what would we be bidding on, Little Witch?” he asked teasing her.

“Now that would be a secret until that night,” she said and tried to wiggle her eyebrows. His little woman could never do it right.

“Keep practicing, Little Witch, but only in our rooms.” He laughed. “I guess the single women could be offered to the single men. We could do the singles first, then the married ladies next.” He looked at Avril, who grinned.

“Let me work on the invites and I’ll have one brought back to you by dinner time. But what kind of ride were you thinking that you can do inside? Most rides are outside.” He glanced at Beth and then at Edward.

“The rides will have to be outside. I’ll just have to stay inside. I can work the games and help with the desert sale. I’ll even make my peanut-butter cheesecake. Maybe I can get Lancelot to make a few deserts too.”

“Wait a minute you make a peanut butter cheesecake?” Rock asked and she laughed.

“Yes, I can cook. I didn’t like to go out with everyone hounding me, so I cooked a lot and sent a lot of the food to the shelters around the county. I was going to ask if Edward would mind if I could do that once a week. I love to cook and Lancelot said he’d help,” Beth asked, just amazing him.

Edward was speechless. Putting down the paper and pen, Edward lifted her out of
Rock’s arms and hugged her tight. “You, my queen, are an amazing woman. Of course, you can donate to the shelters. Matter of fact, I know we own about six high end restaurants we can donate all the leftover food to the homeless shelters. Maybe I can get some others to do it also.” He kissed her lips.

“Rock, why don’t you take our woman into our room and give her some of your special loving? I’d like to speak with Avril.” He nipped her nose.

Without a word Rock held out his hands and Beth crawled into his arms. “Will you be joining us?” Rock asked and he shook his head.

“No, this is your time with our woman. I’ll have my time tonight. Just call when you are leaving our quarters and one of us will meet you back here.” Edward watched Rock carry Beth back to their rooms and smiled. She buried her face in his neck, softly whispering to him.

“Sir, you have something else you wanted to speak with me about? Have you heard anything from your father?” Edward turned his full attention on Avril. “We haven’t heard from him in months and I’m getting worried. On top of that, Sander is missing. I don’t know how, but he slipped the guards I had been watching him. The thought of that man in our rooms…”

“Edward, you need to come out to the maze, we have found Sander,” Lucas said.

“Stay here and work on the invites. You can use Beth’s office, if it helps. But make sure she does not leave here.” Edward turned to leave when he noticed two gargoyles at the end of the stairs looking at him.

Deception stepped in front of him with his mate. “Why are you here?”

“Death is coming. Two bodies outside. Even the dragons are nervous and have called others in to help patrol the grounds.”

Edward frowned hearing the two talk inside his head. “I don’t understand. Deception why are they helping, along with the dragons?” Edward moved forward, resting his hand on the female’s head. The creature in front of him stood about five feet tall, with a dark blue green coloring and black eyes. He bowed before Edward.
