Live Fantasies

His fingers wrapped around an erection made of steel. Jesse wasn’t just a little hard, he was throbbing for Shade. “What are we going to do with this?” Shade asked playfully.
Jesse set aside his wine. “Didn’t I tell you I was going to fuck you senseless?”
“I wasn’t sure if that was what we just did.”
“Oh, Sheldon, that was just the appetizer.”
Jesse pulled off his shirt, exposing his unbelievable body, and moved on top of Shade. As Shade looked up at him, he couldn’t believe this was honestly happening. After everything, the lies and the uncertainty and believing that Jesse would hate him forever, he had finally gotten the guy he had always wanted. And this was no one-night stand, either. This was something real.
He wanted to keep Jesse in his life, and Jesse seemed to feel the same way. Whether they were going to be long-distance or not was irrelevant. Shade leaned up to kiss Jesse, frightened at the thought. He would have to think about that later – he hated the idea of being away from Jesse – but right now, they were finally going to do what they had wanted to do a long time ago.
Shade sucked in Jesse’s bottom lip and felt Jesse’s tongue prying at the barrier between them. Shade opened his mouth, letting Jesse press his tongue in. He sucked Jesse’s tongue, finding it warm and soft. Shade could taste both of them, and that turned him on even more. He reached for his own cock, giving it a few long, slow strokes.
A sudden intrusion made him gasp, and he realized Jesse had reached around behind him. The fingers at his entrance ventured further. Shade wriggled and relaxed until Jesse had filled him up.
“I can’t wait to be inside you,” Jesse said, his tone completely serious now. “I’m so happy that this is happening.”
“Me too,” Shade said softly. “You don’t even know.”
“I think I have an idea.”
The next kiss Jesse gave him was a long, slow one. There was no teasing, no playfulness, just pure passion. The connection between them was definitely real, and Shade wondered how either of them could have doubted that. He had never felt like this about any other person.
He already knew that he and Jesse were good together. Now, as Jesse kissed him like this, he started to think they were perfect together. He could see them being together for a long time. Jesse found a condom and lube and placed himself between his legs. Shade lifted his hips to give him access. He hoped they would be together forever.
“I need you,” Shade whispered.
“Yes, Shade. You’re going to have me.”
Jesse applied a little more lube. Shade hadn’t had sex in a while, and Jesse was definitely large, but he still slid in without trouble. Shade gasped out loud as Jesse hit his depth. “The camera,” he whispered. He wanted this on tape.
Jesse shook his head. “Another time. I don’t want any distractions right now… just you and me. We don’t need something to remember this by because we’re going to do it again and again.”
Shade took a breath. He wanted a video of this moment, but Jesse was right. The two of them were going to be together, and there was no reason to dilute this moment by bringing a camera into it. Shade was never going to forget this, whether it was or wasn’t on video.
Although they’d each climaxed once, Shade’s need was just as urgent. Shade struggled to relax around Jesse’s girth while Jesse dropped his forehead to the mattress. Jesse stayed still there for a moment, and Shade’s pulse sped up as he realized Jesse had to be just as overcome as he was. They had both been waiting a long time to be together like this. This moment was the culmination of all the tension they’d been storing.
“This feels…”
Jesse moved inside him, and Shade had to leave the sentence unfinished as he cried out in pleasure. His fingernails dug into Jesse’s biceps, and his legs wrapped around Jesse’s back. He clenched him tightly inside, feeling how his walls contracted around Jesse. The two of them fit so well together. How had he ever dreamt of not being with him?
“This feels incredible,” Jesse finished for him. “S, you’re everything I could possibly want.”
All Shade could see as Jesse spoke was his strong shoulder and the side of his face. Overwhelmed with emotion, Shade kissed his cheek. It felt so good that he did it over and over, kissing Jesse everywhere that he could reach. Jesse’s chest pressed against his, and he crossed his ankles tighter to bring him closer.
“Kiss me,” Shade whispered, needing to show Jesse how he felt. “I need to feel your lips.”
Jesse turned and Shade craned his head up to kiss his mouth. Their lips crushed together, and then their tongues met. Shade groaned, wondering how much longer he could last. Having Jesse inside him was everything Shade had dreamed it would be.
Jesse’s hands found his cheeks, and he cradled his face as Shade gasped into his mouth. The slow, rocking motion of Jesse’s hips was driving Shade out of his mind. His entire body was alight with what Jesse was doing to him.
Shade couldn’t wait any longer. The question he’d had before burned in his mind. “Does this mean we’re boyfriends now?” he whispered.
“Yeah, S.” Jesse moved again, making Shade gasp. “You’re all mine now.”
Twenty-Nine
Jesse hated to see the date end after more than twenty-four hours. He and Shade had spent the day and most of the night in bed. They had ordered food and watched TV, in addition to more erotic activities. Sometimes when they couldn’t stay up any longer, they’d even slept. The one thing they hadn’t done was talk about the future.
Now they were at the strip club, where Shade had insisted on dropping him off. “I have to talk to Trenton and Brentley anyway,” Shade had said.
Jesse guessed this was more about Shade wanting to spend a few extra minutes with him. In his shoes, he would have done the same thing.
They held hands as they walked through the parking lot. Ace and Gabriel climbed out of their car. Ace raised his eyebrows, while Gabriel just whooped. “You two worked it out!”
Jesse grinned. “You know it, G.”
As they continued through the main room, Yorick stepped out of the DJ booth. “What’s this I see?”
“Yeah, we’re together,” Shade said with a grin.
Once he’d gone back in, Jesse turned to Shade. “I don’t think I’ve ever spoken to him before aside from requesting a song.”
“He’s a good guy,” Shade said. “His daughter’s adorable, too.”
“He has a kid?”
“A four-year-old. You might know these things if you asked people questions once in a while.” Shade elbowed him in the ribs. “What’s next, you going to tell me you don’t know the bartender’s a veteran?”
Jesse just shook his head as they kept going forward. He hadn’t known, but Shade was the only thing on his mind right now.
Owen and Cooper were at the edge of the back hallway, and both of them immediately lit up at the sight of them. “Does this mean you’re staying, Shade?” Cooper asked.
If only that was the case. Jesse was sad for a moment, while Shade just smiled at Cooper. They walked on into Trenton’s office.
Once they were there, they dropped their hands. “I guess I should leave you here while you talk about your last paycheck and whatnot,” Jesse said.
“That’s okay. Stay with me.”
“But don’t you have to talk about private stuff, like what you’re going to put in your article? I’m sure you don’t want me there for that.”
“I do,” Shade said, squeezing his arm. “Come in. I don’t want you to miss this, actually.”
If Shade wanted him there, Jesse wasn’t going to say no. They went inside. Trenton and Brentley were both behind the desk, looking at the ledger again. Jesse and Shade sat down. “Yes,” Trenton said.
“I’m here to ask for my job back.”
Jesse turned to stare at Shade, his jaw dropping open. He must have misheard him. But as Shade grinned at him, he knew he had heard right.
Brentley interr
upted before Jesse could figure out what to say. “This is a surprise… although not an unpleasant one.”
“As I told you yesterday,” Trenton said, “you’re welcome to have your job back at any time. I have to say this is earlier than I expected, but all the better.”
“Great,” Shade said. As he got up, he grabbed Jesse’s hand. Jesse thought he heard the manager make an approving sound as they walked out.
“What are you doing, S?” Jesse hissed as soon as they were out of earshot. “What about your article?”
“You were right,” Shade said softly. “It wouldn’t be much of an article if I was to water it down and only say the good things. I decided it would be better to not write an article at all. I have a good job here, a job where everybody respects me and treats me well. This job has helped me develop as a person.”
Jesse stopped in the middle of the hallway. “You don’t have to do this. You had a good job and a good life. I don’t know if you’re making the right decision.”
“I am,” Shade said. “There will always be other reporting jobs if I decide that’s what I want to do. But right now, it’s not the job for me. Those people never respected me. I can’t stand the thought of being three hours away from you. And I’ve realized I have some ethical issues with going undercover. I’ve already quit.”
“What? When?”
“When you were in the shower.” Shade rolled his eyes. “My boss said I was fucking over the entire magazine, leaving them in the lurch, and that she should have known better than to give me a real assignment. I told her they should take a look at the people they have getting coffee and picking up dry-cleaning. One of them would be thrilled to write an article, and they’ve got four months to do it.”
Jesse had no idea what to say.
“My family’s actually happy that I’m staying here,” Shade went on. “They think I should look for a better journalism job, and of course they want me closer, but they’re glad I’m not going to be working for Snap That anymore.”
“But you could do anything,” Jesse insisted. “You don’t have to be a stripper. You’re so smart, and you have so much potential. You could have any kind of job that you wanted.”
“So could you, and you’re here,” Shade said. “Maybe I’ll write something about this place one day. There’s enough going on here for a book! But it won’t have the kind of nasty, vicious attitude that Snap That is all about.”
Jesse stared at him.
“Now, put your tongue back in your mouth and close your lips. You’re not going to get any tips walking around like that.”
The two of them went into the change room, where Shade announced his decision to the other strippers.
“You’re not going to make me famous?” Lev whined when Shade announced that he wasn’t going to write his article.
“No, but I’m sure you’re going to do that for yourself.”
“Fair enough,” Lev said with a grin. “I don’t have any doubt about that.”
The guys were looking at Shade funny, so Jesse interrupted. If this was Shade’s decision, then he was going to support him in it. “Guys, stop giving him that look. He’s still the same guy you’ve always known. It’s probably best to keep this between us – no one else needs to know. And I hope you’re not going to treat him any differently now that you know he used to be an undercover reporter.”
“We won’t,” a few of them said.
“And I hope you won’t treat Jesse any different once he gets the number one app in the App Store,” Shade said.
Jesse shook his head. As if that would ever happen.
“Huh?” Gabriel asked.
“I just fuck around with apps on my spare time,” Jesse said modestly. “I’ve been working on a video streaming app for a bit.”
“That sounds cool,” Owen said. “I would love to take a look at it.”
“Me, too,” Cooper added.
“You would?” Jesse asked. “I wasn’t planning to do anything more with it.” He wouldn’t have thought his friends would take any interest in it. Then again, these guys were his bros, his supporters. He would have done the same for them.
“We would love to,” Ace said.
“You guys are going to love it,” Shade told them. “You definitely need to release it, Jesse. It’s amazing.”
With that kind of encouragement, Jesse couldn’t say no.
The strippers trickled out, one pair at a time. By the time Jesse and Shade made their way out to the parking lot, the bouncer was already gone. They were halfway to Jesse’s car, holding hands, when a screech erupted from the other end of the lot.
Jesse tensed as Pearl ran up to them. She didn’t even look at him as she hissed at Shade. “I knew you were gay! I just knew it!”
Shade hardly broke his stride. “I don’t have to be gay to not want you. Now, get out of here before I get a restraining order.” The two of them got in Jesse’s car, and Jesse quickly locked all of the doors.
“Do you think that’s the last we’ll see of her?” Jesse asked.
“It should be. Now that she’s seen I got the hottest guy in this place, she’ll know she never had a chance.” Shade laughed and brushed a kiss across Jesse’s lips, making him sigh with sudden need.
He turned the car on, anxious to get Shade back to his place. They each had big plans, and Jesse felt hopeful for both of them. With their friends’ support, he figured they could accomplish anything.
For the moment, he just needed to be in Shade’s bed. They had kisses to share, climaxes to reach, and videos to make.
And whether he was with Shade or Sheldon, he was in love.

Chapter One
Yorick hesitated just outside the door. His nose wrinkled and he stared at the ground. Every part of his body fought against going inside the inauspiciously named Man Planet. His gut, his nerves, and his instincts all told him not to go.
Against his better judgment, he pushed the door open. Immediately he was assaulted with body heat and loud music. The darkness overtook him as he stepped in. As he blinked to adjust to the dim light, he could already tell the room was too small for the amount of people in it.
He glanced around through slitted eyes, looking warily in each direction. There were a few women in the place, but mostly men. Men holding men, dancing with men, even kissing men. He gritted his teeth and moved forward.
At the Tool Shed, he put up with seeing male flesh on a nightly basis. The strippers were all gay or bisexual, too, but at least they didn’t actually touch each other. And the walls of Yorick’s DJ booth kept him safely sequestered away from them. Here, anyone could have mistaken him for being like the others.
If he had his way, he would be anywhere else – but he had promised his buddy that he would be here tonight. He made his way through the room to the corner of the stage. A man leered at him and reached out to finger a strand of his long black hair. Yorick opened his mouth in outrage and slapped his hand away.
No one else tried to touch him, thankfully, but he still had to suffer through the sight of the men around him. It was impossible to avoid. They were everywhere in this place. People weren’t even individuals anymore, just a mass of writhing bodies.
Yorick pushed open the door to the DJ booth and collapsed against the wall, shaking his head at his friend.
“Hey, buddy,” Rap
hael said. “You made it!”
“Yeah, sure,” Yorick said, hoping his discomfort wouldn’t show too much. He would have gone anywhere for this man after the amount of time they had known each other. Raphael had been there for him ever since they’d bonded over listening to each other’s Walkmans in elementary school.
“What do you think?” Raphael asked
“It’s not exactly my kind of place,” Yorick said, trying to stay diplomatic. “The music is good, though. I like the beats you’re dropping.”
“Thanks, man. I mixed these cuts earlier today.”
“Definitely fresh,” Yorick said. “I wouldn’t have thought to go from Beyoncé to the Stone Temple pilots.”
“Well, they’re loving it,” Raphael said, gesturing out at the crowd. Yorick swallowed as he looked back out there. His eyes lit on one couple that was practically humping each other right there on the dance floor. It was barely past eleven and they were already going at each other like that. Yorick couldn’t believe anyone would be so uncivilized.
“I’m glad our schedules finally worked out,” Yorick said.
“I know. The one night I have a gig is the one that you have off.”
“Please,” Yorick said, flipping his long ponytail over his shoulder. “You have a gig practically every night these days. You’ve told me so.”
“Here and there, here and there,” Raphael said. “Not everyone can be so lucky as to work five nights a week like you.”
Yorick laughed. Raphael was just joking around, but Yorick was happy they could both earn money doing what they loved. Raphael had a day job as well, while Yorick DJed full-time at the strip club. He had never imagined things turning out like this when they started messing around with music software in their teens. They had taken up the hobby together, and they were still doing it almost ten years later.
“How’s things at work?” Raphael asked, nodding to the music as he clicked on the computer. The beats from the last song blended seamlessly into the next one.
