After a long ride, the elevator doors slid open to reveal a beautiful rooftop restaurant. Grasping my hand in his, Victor led the way forward.

My cheeks warmed at the gesture.

We were seated at a prime table which gave a wonderful view of the city stretched out below us. It was amazingly quiet up here. None of the traffic’s noise reached this far in the sky.

“They make the best fillet mignon in the city,” said Victor. “Their wine is also quite palatable.”

  “Cool.”

He waved his hand and a pretty waitress appeared at our table. The woman couldn’t stop staring at him as he ordered for us.

Victor didn’t even spare her a glance, turning his attention back to me as soon as he finished ordering.

I could barely hold back my smile. He was giving me his full attention despite the pretty woman trying to shove her cleavage in his face.

“I’m glad to see you doing so well,” said Victor. “You don’t let anything mess with your brain. Most people lose their heads at the most critical times. From now on, I want you at my side at all times.”

  I gave a nod. “Sure.”

Victor didn’t speak much after that, choosing to stare at me with that piercing gaze of his which kept reminding me of Alexei. For a moment, I wished he was here too, sharing this moment with us.

The waitress came back with our food and drinks. She probably got the idea Victor wasn’t interested, so she didn’t even try to flirt again and left us alone.

“Tell me how you like it,” said Victor. He didn’t touch his fork and knife, choosing to watch me.

I picked up my fork and knife, and cut into the perfectly seared steak. “Mmm,” I moaned, chewing the most exquisite piece of beef. I’d never tasted a steak as rich and buttery as the one on my plate.

Victor seemed to enjoy my reactions as I continued to eat. At one point, he even reached out with a napkin to dab at the corner of my mouth.

I was just eating, but why did it feel so damn hot?

Victor’s gaze followed my every little movement until I couldn’t take it anymore. “You should eat too,” I said. “Your food will go cold and it won’t be so good anymore.”

Victor laughed before picking up his fork and knife.

It was unbelievable how he could be so warm and friendly toward me but be a complete monster to others. He enjoyed watching people getting strangled and castrated, but he also seemed to relish watching me blush and squirm beneath his heated gaze.

“There’s someone I want you to meet,” said Victor when we’d finished our meal. “He’s probably waiting for us to return back to the apartment.”

I wondered if it was the man with the sultry voice called ‘Sugar’.

“Shouldn’t I go back to working?”

Victor’s hand rested on my knee under the table. “You’ve worked hard, Danny. I need you to take a break today.” He squeezed gently, making my whole body thrum with need.

I choked on the moans threatening to escape my lips. There was no way he could know how I was feeling. Victor wouldn’t hold back from touching me if he knew the effect he was having on me. I couldn’t repeat the same mistake as in the car.

Victor could never touch me intimately. My cover and my life depended on it.

Once again, I realized I was toeing a dangerous line with him.

The ride back to the apartment building was a short one. Victor stroked my thigh throughout the way in an almost absentminded way while I wondered what lay in store for me next.

My heart thumped in my chest as the elevator rode up to the topmost floor of the residential building. If you could handle torturing and killing a man, you can handle anything, I told myself, hoping it would lessen the anxiety weighing in my gut.

The sound of a man’s groans reached me as soon as Victor unlocked the door to his penthouse suite.

“Looks like he’s still working,” said Victor, glancing at a TV screen in the far corner.

My mouth fell apart as I followed the direction of his gaze. A very handsome man was stroking himself on the screen while his luscious pink lips made those heated moaning sounds.

“Come on, Danny,” said Victor, shoving me lightly in the back and closing the door behind us.

Victor’s apartment was similar to the layout of the other suite but the place was divided into sections by glass walls. I could see what was happening in all the rooms from where I was standing.

The beautiful male stroking himself to the heights of pleasure was situated in one of the bedrooms. Heavy studio lights were focused on him as he faced several cameras recording him from every angle.

Was that guy recording it for Victor’s benefit or several others?

The Sokolov clan was deep into pornography but I never imagined Victor would have a pornstar and a studio in his suite.

Victor moved toward a couch and gestured for me to take a seat that directly faced the TV screen.

I took a moment to gaze at the beautiful man with long strands of silken, silver hair and sparkling violet eyes. His face and body seemed to have been carved by the very gods and goddesses of beauty and lust. I tried my hardest not to stare at his sizeable junk which was pierced at the tip with a gold ring.

  “Surprised, Danny?”

I swallowed and tore my eyes away from the man on the screen.

  “Err...yeah.”

I’d barely gotten over the shock of seeing the beautiful man jerking on the TV screen when a large wolf loped toward us. I’d seen it before and thought it to be massive, but it was even bigger in real life. He could easily come up to Victor’s thighs.

“Hey, girl,” Victor called out in an affectionate tone. The red-furred wolf dropped her head on his knee and whined, wagging her tail hard. “Did Ginger miss her daddy?”

“Did you steal her from the sets of Game of Thrones?” I joked.

The wolf-dog turned its head toward me, her pale-gray eyes looking into mine. That was when I noticed she had the same eyes as her master.

The massive dog moved toward me and sniffed at my knees, proceeding to bury her nose in my arms and torso. Her size intimidated me but she was incredibly gentle.

“I think she likes you,” said Victor with an indulgent smile.

“Is it ok if I pet her?” I asked.

“Go ahead. She’d have bitten you already if she didn’t like you.”

I reached out and tentatively patted her on the head. She closed her eyes, seemingly enjoying my touch. Emboldened, I scratched her back, relishing in the feel of her thick, soft fur.

  “She’s so lovely,” I gushed.

“If you think Ginger is lovely, you should meet her owner.” He glanced back at the TV screen.

That slight movement was enough to distract me from the wolf-dog and look at the handsome young man who was very close to release now. He pumped his cock harder and faster than before. It was becoming hard to ignore the breathless moans sounding all around the suite.

“That’s her owner?” I asked, pointing toward the man on the screen.

“Yes, that’s River,” he said. “He fell in love with Ginger the moment he saw her and he had to have her. He earned her as a gift from me.”

I tried not to think about the favor he did for Victor. Somehow, the pretty guy didn’t seem to be someone who castrated or strangled people for Victor’s pleasure.

Ginger whined, calling for my attention.

Victor chuckled. “Keep stroking her. She’s as needy as her other daddy. He’d let you stroke him too but it sounds like he’s doing quite well on his own at the moment.”

My cheeks heated up as a breathless cry escaped River’s luscious lips. Next moment, a glob of creamy white cum splattered right on the screen in front of us.

I reeled back immediately which made Victor laugh.

Jets of cum leaked out of his cock as River threw back his head. His beautifully sculpted chest heaved as he struggled to draw in his breaths. I felt mesmerized by the sight.

p; I looked toward the bedroom in the corner and for a moment, River’s violet-hued eyes met mine. Shit! He’d caught me staring.

Victor chuckled as River’s lips curved into a knowing, mischievous grin.

I groaned, covering my face with my hands.

My core throbbed hard, forcing me to clamp my thighs together. I had no idea seeing a guy jerking off like that would make me react this way. Why did Victor have to keep torturing me when he said he was happy with me?

“Here, take it,” said Victor from somewhere close by.

Peeking through my fingers, I saw him holding a glass of champagne. He smirked as he handed it to me.

I glanced back at the TV screen. The feed on it was switched off, turning the screen black. I was finally able to breathe freely.

I sipped the delicious champagne and stroked Ginger’s thick, red fur.

Ginger barked and suddenly, lifted her head to the side. She padded away toward the man approaching us in a black satin robe.

“All done, babe?” asked Victor as he filled another glass with champagne.

The scent of rose and chamomile wafted into my nostrils as River came closer. I wished Ginger would come back to me, so I could have someone to look at and avoid glancing at both Victor and River.

“Yes, all done for the day,” said River, running fingers through the wet locks of his silver-blond hair. There were damp patches on his silken robe. It looked like he’d just come out of the shower.

Grabbing his hand, Victor pulled him into his lap.

Soft, breathy chuckles escaped River but he settled there like he belonged in Victor’s lap.

“He’s pretty,” said River, looking over to me.

I was pretty? He was the one who looked like he’d just stepped out of the pages of a beautifully illustrated manga book. I’d never seen a woman or a man as beautiful as him before.

Even with boobs, I’d never be a competition for this man. I couldn’t even fathom why Victor would kiss me if he had someone like River hidden away in his suite.

“Did you enjoy the show?” asked River with a pleasant smile.

“I—I—uhh—it was—yeah...” A bunch of nonsense escaped my lips which made him laugh out.

“He’s so cute!” River glanced at Victor who was silently shaking with laughter.

“Did you collect what you promised?” asked Victor in a suddenly serious tone.

“Of course, Master,” he said. “I always keep my promises. The box is in your office.”

I placed the half-filled champagne flute on the table. There was a chance I’d choke on it if they pull any more surprises on me.

River picked up my glass and gulped down the champagne in it.

“Danny’s been so great,” said Victor in an appreciative tone. “He did so well with Boris last night and even better this afternoon. I have to keep a track of all the gifts I need to reward him with.”

Something flashed through River’s beautiful eyes. “You helped clean up that mess?”

“Yeah,” I replied, knowing he meant about the events of last night.

  “Did you enjoy yourself?”

  “What?”

“You can confess if you did,” he said with a slight smile. “We won’t judge you for it. This,” he added as he waved a hand at the suite, “is a safe space.”

“No!” I blurted at once. “I was too scared to feel anything else.”

“Scared of what?” An interested look came over River. “Were you scared of the power or how good it felt?”

“It did not feel good,” I said through clenched teeth. I took a few deep breaths to cool the anger flaring inside me. “I was scared someone would find out what I did.”

“So, what if they found out?” asked Victor in a grim tone. “It’s best they find out so they’ll know not to mess with you.”

  “Yes, Master Sokolov.”

“Master?” River turned to stare at Victor. “You’re still making him call you that.”

“Only when we’re among other company.” Glancing at me, Victor added, “It’s fine in front of him.”

River moved out of Victor’s lap and came closer to me. His violet-hued eyes sparkled as he kneeled before me. With gentle hands, he shifted the strands of hair falling into my eyes. I held my breath as he swiped a finger along my lower lip.

“Relax, Danny,” he said. “I won’t hurt you.”

  “You know who I am?”

“Of course,” he said. “Vic told me about you.” Trailing a finger along the side of my neck, he added, “You’re welcome to join me in the bedroom anytime you want. We can set up the cameras and everyone can watch you fuck me.”

God! Help me, I prayed silently as an image of me riding River flashed in my mind.

River’s hand ran down the front of my shirt but I placed a hand on his, stopping him from reaching down to my crotch.

“Even Victor likes to watch,” said River, looking into my eyes.

My thighs pressed together tighter. River knew exactly what he was doing to me because a mischievous grin came on his luscious lips.

“Babe, stop torturing him and get me the box,” called out Victor.

River winked and moved away to walk toward the office space in the far corner of the expansive suite.

He came back within a minute, holding a sleek, rectangular-shaped box.

“Open it, Danny,” said Victor when River handed the box to me.

I held the black lacquered box with gold clasps in the front. Part of me was afraid to find what horror it contained. Please don’t be a severed cock or something gross, I prayed before lifting the lid.

I felt my lips part as my eyes took in the gun nestled against the lush silk inner-lining.

“How do you like it?” asked Victor.

  “A gun? For me?”

Will they trust me enough to give me a gun, Ethan? The words I’d spoken to my mentor a long time ago rose in my mind.

Taking the gun, I studied it closely and found it to be an impressive one.

“Why are you giving this to me?” I asked, fixing my gaze on Victor.

“You’re going to need it,” he said in a grim tone. “Being close to me comes with risks. You never know when you might find yourself in a bad situation.”

I pressed on the magazine release and caught the magazine in my hand perfectly. “Empty?”

“You can’t have a weapon when you’re up here, Danny,” said Victor. “Precautions.”

Off course. They wouldn’t even let me come up here with shoes on, much less a fully-loaded gun.

“I’m surprised you know how to handle a gun,” said Victor.

“One of my foster dads taught me,” I lied easily. “I know how to work firearms.”

“You’re proving better than what I’d expected,” he said in an appreciative tone. “Keep the gun on you at all times when we’re outside. It’ll show them you’re mine and not to be messed with.” His smile turned dark and his silver eyes glittered like ice. “Do you like your present?”

I gave a nod. “Thank you.”

“Could you put that thing away now?” River called out in an oddly subdued voice.

“River doesn’t like being around guns,” explained Victor. “Even looking at one makes him uncomfortable.”

That explained why River was standing at the kitchen counter in the far corner.

I placed the gun back into its box. A look of pure relief crossed River’s face at the gesture. He came back to us and handed me a full glass of champagne.

I sipped the icy-cold drink, enjoying the way it slid down my throat. Warmth spread through me, relaxing me like nothing else. I gulped more the drink and leaned against the couch.

Closing my eyes, I enjoyed the lethargy coming over me. For some reason, I wasn’t even scared about going to sleep with Victor sitting right in front of me. What the fuck was happening to me now...

  Victor

A gradual change came over Danny as he lazily blinked
at me. Within seconds, his fingers loosened around the stem of the champagne flute. The glass tumbled to the ground soundlessly, falling on the soft white carpet without breaking, but spilling the rest of the contents there.

When I looked back at him, he’d slumped against the couch and was gently snoozing.

“Danny.” My voice was tight with concern.

Low, light laughter sounded close to me. Turning to the side, I watched River chuckling at me.

“I’ve never seen you this concerned over anyone,” he said, perching his ass on the armrest of my chair. Grinning at my frowning face, he added, “Relax. I just gave him something to calm him down. His face was going too red every time I got close to him.”

“Then, stop going close to him.”

“Nah. I like him.” Getting to his feet, he moved over to the couch where Danny sagged against the backrest. His fingers played with the strands falling over Danny’s eyes. “He’s so different from the men I’ve met before.”

That was an odd thing to say. River probably met more men when he served as Boris’s favorite pet than me in my entire life.

“What do you mean he’s different?” I asked.

“He averted his eyes from me,” said River with a slight frown like he was trying very hard to solve a hard problem. “Any other man would grow a tent in his pants, but he...” River glanced down at the snoozing young man and caressed his cheeks with the back of his hand. “I could tell he was struggling but stayed...respectful. Fuck! He’s the sweetest man I’ve ever come across.”

“Most of the men who’ve seen you have asked to fuck you,” I said. “But what about the straight ones?”

  “Is Danny straight?”

“No,” I said, recalling the way he’d clung to me in the car this afternoon when I was kissing him. “He loved it when I kissed him. It’s when I got handsy, he got scared.”

  “Really?”

  “Yes.”

River’s pretty face lit up with a radiant smile. The reaction got a chuckle out of me.

“You like Danny that much, huh?” I asked, taking a long sip of my champagne.

“Yes,” he said, eyeing the sleeping young man with something close to fascination. “I want him, Victor. Please, let me have him.”
